The business owner who I assume is named Dwayne is rude, and puts absolutely zero effort into helping you -- I have a package that was delivered here as they are a service provider with the app named Vinted. Apparently the business owner of this parcel shop is completely unaware that they are a pick-up point location for Vinted packages, meaning anyone can choose to have their package dropped off here and pick it up similar to those Amazon Parcel pick up point locations. I came in expecting to simply pick up the package, but instead I was completely brushed off and was told repeatedly there was nothing for me there if I did not have a mailbox with them. The stubborn store owner thinks/assumes that they only have a contract for Vinted/SpeedX package drop offs, but they are also listed as a pick-up location which cannot seem to get into his incompetent brain. I showed the employee, again who I assume is the owner Dwayne, the email & QR code instructions to pick up the package and continues to tell me there is "nowhere" for him to scan the QR code. He made me feel like unless you're paying him money to essentially "rent" a mailbox through his small business there is nothing for you there. I explained to him that I was provided delivery drop-off photos by the shipping provider, SpeedX and showed him and he replied, "I don't care what photos they took there is nothing for you here if you do not have a mailbox through us". Please DO NOT come here. Stay far away instead save yourself the trouble and go to your regular post office. Absolutely TERRIBLE service I'll never be back.

At first, he explained that he was about to go to lunch, which I completely understood, so I told him not to worry and that I would try to figure it out myself. But Gerard ended up being an absolute angel! Instead of leaving, he stayed and helped me through the entire process. He counted all of my pages, showed me how to properly place the papers in the machine, and stayed with me until I was completely finished. He was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful. These days, truly exceptional customer service can be hard to find, which is why I felt it was important to recognize Gerard. We've moved freight with them pretty much all over, and have found them reliable and friendly. The people who work there seem to want to work there, which at least to me, seems rare at a freight company. I can't speak to how they manage their freight at other locations, only how they do it in Los Angeles. They are a "consolidator". They bring in freight to fill trailers - once the trailer is full, and only when it's full, they send it either by truck or by rail to destinations around the country. This can mean slightly longer transit times than what you would maybe expect from a traditional LTL carrier. This also means heavily discounted rates. If you can spare 2-3 additional days beyond the published transit time, just in case, you can save a lot of money with them. This all said, however, in my experience, their trailers are not sitting in the yard that often. It seems they have enough freight in LA to fill up trailers to most destinations nightly, so freight rarely waits. In any case, I've enjoyed working with them, and although they're just one of an arsenal of carriers we use, I think, for their friendly attitudes, ease of cooperation and communication, and fairly quick service for a consolidator, they get my endorsement!
