I love shops that do not judge me by what I'm wearing or how I look when I walk into their store, and I was delighted with how Forget Me Not did just that - no judgement. I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. This was my first time in the store and the lovely employees there walked me around and explained some of their specialty items - like the Inis products from Ireland. I was so impressed with Inis I bought sets for me and my daughters. I was surprised by how affordable it was too. And they have Christmas up already - that always makes me happy. I shop Christmas all year long. They have some unique Christmas kitchen sets that I know I'm coming back for soon. And their Christmas rugs are visions of Christmas whimsy. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't have time for a meal, but I did get an apple muffin and I enjoyed every bite! I'm definitely coming back to have lunch here. If you're looking for unique and one of a kind items, or to shop and eat at the same place because it's convenient, you need to give this place a try. I don't just give a 5 star review without it being an honest opinion of the shop, and this shop deserves just that. The customer service was some of the best I've experienced in quite a while. The store attendant took her time to make sure I saw all the unique items and services they carry. They have an embroidery area in the back of the store for personalized gift. Whether it's a robe, bag, or children's items, they embroider in house. I was breezing through the shop, not having time to sit down and eat, but I'm definitely coming back to try their lunch. The smell was intoxicating. And their beautifully decorated cookies for the Halloween season were very tempting! Do not come in here for monogramming. They are conveniently located but oh my gosh are they unfriendly & unaccommodating! This is my third and final attempt at using them bc of their location but they could not be less helpful, engaging, professional or simply nice. The restaurant (if you even want to call it that) is terrible. There's a guy running it and the service was awful. There's 7 tables total and 5 people in the kitchen. You'd think the place was super busy based on the wait time, but half the tables were empty. After waiting 45 minutes (!!) for two sandwiches and a cup of soup, the guy spilled the hot soup in my lap as I was asking politely to please stop and it still didn't register in his head what he was doing. He didn't even offer to clean up my chair/lap/floor! He just walked off! No apology, nothing. The food is mediocre, at best. The shop is cute, but they definitely should eliminate the restaurant portion. I can't believe I even paid the bill. I'm disappointed in myself for asking for a refund or a comped meal, something I never do but feel would've been appropriate in this situation. read more

Maybe I am invisible and I don't realize it. Two customers in the store, one salesperson and some other employees walking around. The sales person was yacking it up with the other customer, explaining new tea towels they are carrying and completely ignored me even thought I was 2 feet away. I had a question about something so waited while the other customer was having her feet kissed. Once that was over I thought I would be able to ask my question but they proceeded to catch up on life. Service was poor, inattentive. One server..kind of scattered..soup spoons for coffee and tea service. No attention to order..our server could not be bothered. The two of us were obviously not interesting..we are old. The chef/COOK took out food order. I had to give mine twice. It was FROM THE MENU..still did not come to us even remotely correct. I made a reservation for lunch at this attractive small lunch spot with an excellent menu. We arrived earlier than our scheduled time and were seated promptly. We placed our order and waited AN HOUR to be served! Meanwhile, one of us had to go up to the counter to inquire about our food. Another time, one of us had to go up to the counter to ask for water. There was only one server and it appeared that this was her first day. I had ordered a wrap sandwich which turned out to be a panini. Another friend ordered a salad which had much too much dressing. My wrap/panini tasted good but we were so disappointed with the service that I can't give anything but one star to this restaurant/tea shop/gift shop. My friend and I went yesterday to look around...we purchased something from the bakery....sat outside for maybe 5 mins...and the hateful lady from the store came out and asked if we want to buy lunch....like buying something from the bakery wasn't enough to sit at the outside table for a couple of minutes! I was looking for custom decorated cookies for my daughter's birthday and Forget me Not delivered! The cookies were absolutely adorable and DELICIOUS - definitely a hit at her party. Forget Me Not also has a boutique with a wonderful selection of gifts as well as a cute lunch restaurant. The staff were all so welcoming and courteous. I will definitely be returning. read more
