    Fish sandwich and fries.

We stopped in for an evening dinner. The diner was nearly empty. We were seated immediately. I noticed the special was the fish sandwich. This came with fries and soup or salad, I chose the vegetable noodle soup. Our drinks were served, and my soup was a minute later. A short time later, my fish sandwich came out. This was a deep-fried frozen fish patty. It's not the flaky tender filet I was expecting. The patty was placed on a bun with lettuce and tomato on the side. The fries were good. Soft golden brown and lightly salted. Just the way I like them. The fish sandwich was a disappointment, but it didn't speak to the other menu items. I'm sure there are many other items that will be to my liking.

Stopped in on a Wesnesday night for supper. The place was not crowded, and we were seated immediately. Upon reviewing the menu, I decided on the fried shrimp plate. It included a choice of potato and soup or salad. I chose French fries and house salad. A short time later, my salad came out, and it was cold and delicious. I had the French dressing on the side. Not too long after my shrimp plate cane out and the shrimp, in my opinion, were overcooked, or they were fried in old oil. The fries were crispy and good! The dinner came with a small bowl of vegetables. The vegetables were overcooked. I will be back to try other menu items, maybe some breakfast.

I have eaten here a few times and was on the fence at first. It was never busy and it was just weird eating in a relatively big place and hardly any customers. It's hidden away behind the Perkins so I'm sure that hurts their business a bit. The last two times a have been pleased with the food and the service. Food was well prepared and portions were fair for the price. There has been more customers which may have been helped by the new theater that just opened up the road. Next time you see the parking lot full at Perkins drive a few more yards and give the Knife and Fork a try.

Ok. So let's just say, Bravo, kind of. First time in here with my parents. Food was good. I love their broasted chicken and I can't say enough about it the American fries. Mom had the French toast which she liked it. Been here many times. I wish they'd serve fresh vegetables. Canned or frozen is a waste.

Saw iffy reviews, ordered pancakes to be safe, they arrived burned and rubbery. Enough said.

Enjoyed my visit to City Limits- a blast from the past if you will! This is my grandma's favorite…read moreplace, a banquet hall that serves buffet-style meal only. Arrived on a Sunday at 12:30, and the place was busy! Seated ourselves, and you serve yourself from the buffet line. Salad bar has all the basics, no low fat dressings here! Just the good stuff lots of pasta salad options, all properly kept chilled in a deep ice trough. Hot food consisted of breakfast items like ham, sausage links, mini cheese omelets, French toast sticks, scrambled eggs. Lunch based items included meatballs and gravy, fried chicken, beef tips, mashed potatoes, peel and eat shrimp, fried fish, corn, etc. Dessert was a large pumpkin spice sheet cake, the ice cream machine, and kneecaps (Google if you don't know! Delicious!) French toast sticks reminded me of my childhood, while my husband ate his weight in shrimp. My grandparents got a senior discount, and we all walked away more than full. Service was good, items were refilled promptly, plates removed quickly. Could the decor be updated? Of course. Would it lose its charm if it was? Absolutely.

Very brown and white on the inside-place could really use some paint or new light fixtures or flooring. It is always very clean though; bathrooms, bar counter, floor, table tops. They have 1 or 2 pool tables at the bar and a few arcade games up front for the kids. Service: Service is fantastic! Some of the best around-it gets pretty busy on Friday nights though so there might be a very small wait (longest I ever witnessed was 20 minutes and it was a group of 6 of us). Theresa is great. Food: Best friday fish fry walleye around. I love the hot german potato salad. Portions are huge, you definitely get your moneys worth. They have a great salad and soup bar too that you can add to the meal.

The condo itself was decent--nothing too fancy, but clean and comfortable enough for a family trip. What really stood out, though, was the helpfulness of the guest services. They were quick to answer questions and made check-in and any requests super easy. There are a ton of games available on-site. You can also purchase ice cream right on-site, which was a fun little bonus. We also appreciated the easy towel exchange system--something small, but really convenient when you're traveling with a family. One of the highlights for me was the gym located in the hotel just two parking lots over. It's a full facility and open to guests, which was great. I ended up chatting with a few locals there in the morning, and they couldn't have been friendlier--gave us great tips on what to do in the area and where to eat. If you're a golfer, the courses are amazing and well kept. All in all, this place served our needs well. It's not a luxury resort, but if you're in town for a tournament or just need a place with solid amenities and friendly service, it's definitely a good choice.

We get to the dining room and there is no food left at the buffet. We asked the workers if they could put out some more food and they said no. So we didn't eat anything on Fri night because they have no other food options available onsite. Also they closed the bar down early on Sat night and asked all the remaining customers to leave at 1030p. I think the workers just wanted to go home early. Note they charged me $14 for a beers at the bar, way overpriced. Their golf course was a 5 hr round of golf on Fri. I think what they charge for the stay and play package is definitely overpriced.
