Eggplant Rolatini
Bernie O.

Contrary to information on some other sites, Fork and Vine is NOT closed. It is under new ownership and doing just fine. We went there for lunch today and Will and the staff could not have done a better, more gracious job. Hats off to our waiter, Troy, who took excellent care of us, as he had on past occasions. We started with the Mussels, which were delicious. Some toasted bread to soak up the broth, it was a great start. My wife had the scallops over risotto, perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a broccolini side. I had the Eggplant Rolatini. The eggplant was cooked just right, the breading had a nice flavor and was crisp, rolled and covered with sauce and mozzarella. Again, great execution and very flavorful! A side of spaghetti rounded the dish out. I'm sure that the dessert offerings are as good as our mains were, but by then we were too full to even think about dessert. We're lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber so close, definitely give them a try.

Fork & Vine * Lenoir City, TN Visited: Saturday, ~5:30PM -- early dinner We'd been eyeing Fork & Vine for a while--finding good places outside of the big city is hard to find, and this one made the list. We showed up on a quiet Saturday evening, hoping for a relaxed, memorable meal. Atmosphere & First Impressions Stepping inside, the décor felt a bit in flux: I saw hints of old‑school Tuscan with red walls, exposed brick, and classic wood tables, but then a modern rustic cut‑wood feature wall that I absolutely loved. The mix left me wondering exactly what aesthetic they were aiming for. The bar feels cozy but somewhat tight (probably a product of spatial constraints). The restrooms struck me as serviceable but in need of maintenance--nothing unhygienic, just fixes and updates. On the bright side, they have a patio, and it's dog‑friendly (huge plus in my book). The crowd skewed older early in the evening, which isn't surprising at 5:30PM. Some patrons were rather "grumpy old curmudgeons," and I felt for the staff handling complaints. As the night went on, more folks came in, and a short wait formed--but the kitchen paced things nicely, so courses weren't rushed nor left dangling. Service Service was a highlight. From our perch at the high tops, the mixologist helped guide me through the entrée decision, checked in at just the right moments (water, second drink), and made sure everything was to our liking. The manager stopped by as well. Watching the team help each other was a joy to see. Drinks We tried the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Rusty Nail. Both were beautifully done--smoky, smooth, balanced--and served with big, clear cubes. I regretted we had to drive home, but they made me want to linger for sips and slow conversation. Food Starter: Bruschetta -- Ciabatta toasted and topped with house‑made tomato mix plus fig balsamic. Fresh, bright, summery. This was a win; I'd order it again (and recommend it). Salads: Caesar (sides) -- Crisp greens, house dressing, plenty of shaved asiago. Their croutons seemed to be made from house focaccia; I would've preferred them a bit more toothsome/crunchy, but they were far from disappointing. Entrées: Harvest Sachetti & Romano‑Crusted Chicken Parmesan Harvest Sachetti (butternut squash purée, sachetti pasta, brown butter fig balsamic sauce, candied pecans, fried sage) was lovely, but felt dessert‑leaning in sweetness. My husband commented, "It's very sweet." The highlight came when I got a bit of the ricotta tucked inside--then the bite elevated. I just wished for a bit more savory contrast. Romano‑Crusted Chicken Parmesan was excellent--likely the best in this area so far. The pomodoro tasted fresh, striking a good balance of acidity and sweetness, and the cheese melted just right over the cutlet. We skipped dessert (we were full), but when I asked, the fried cheesecake came up with "that's all you need to know"--charming tease, and now I'm wanting to return just for it. Value & Overall Thoughts This felt like a strong 4‑star experience. If the interior and restrooms were more polished or better aligned stylistically, I might bump it to 4.5 or 5. But those things alone won't stop me from coming back--in fact, I'll bring friends next time. Pros: Cocktails are stellar Service is genuinely warm and attentive Food shows creativity, executes well Dog‑friendly patio Cons / Areas for improvement: Ambiance is stylistically muddled Restrooms need upkeep The "sweetness" edge on the Harvest Sachetti may polarize Would I recommend Fork & Vine? Absolutely--for date nights, food‑minded dinners, or catching up with friends (especially if you appreciate thoughtful cocktails). Just don't expect perfection in decor; come for the flavors and the hospitality.

Chicken Marsala

Great food. Facilities were clean and bright. Host was friendly and fast. Waiter, Jesus, was very pleasant. Chicken Marsala was Devine! The Goat flat bread was delicious. We also greatly enjoyed the spinach artichoke appetizer and their bread and oil. My niece loved the red velvet cheesecake. . Only thing I would change is I would put a little bit more of that yummy balsamic on the flatbread You can't go wrong here.

Great atmosphere.. quaint.. good service and able to carry a conversation without too much music or chatter! Needed at times. Service was great and attentive. Food was good served in a timely manner and fresh and hot!! Clams and pasta actually steaming!! Nice to see served at finish ...rather than depending on a heat lamp! Fresh and good flavors.. nice Italian touch and pasta was Adante which was appreciated! A nice good to for lunch or dinner.

This was our first time coming here after hearing many great things. It was also great to see Troy our waiter we meet last year at another restaurant. One of the best you will meet. Troy went over the menu and told us about some specials. The selections we picked were great. Glad we both chose them. Definitely will be back many times.

Amazing service and the pizza was incredible. Just the right amount of char on the crust and fresh toppings.

If I could give a ZERO I would! 12:30 Saturday afternoon HH & I sat down to try out this new restaurant. (2 months opened) I have a medical tea I drink and have it in a closed metal handled cup. The waiter arrived and questioned my mug, I explained it's reason. He persisted in his questioning, I explained again where upon he stated it was against "Health code". I even opened the container to show him two tea bags! He said he didn't need to see that!!! I explained it was NOT any violation. He then said it would have to be removed!!! I asked for the Manager, he said HE was. Then a man in a gray chef's coat arrived and said it was HIS rule! He then said he was the owner. Now we have had about 5 minutes of the back and forth, my husband got upset. I said 'Fine, we don't need to eat here' Hubby said 'I'm out of here' he then said this stupidity was more of the CA crap infiltrating East TN. As he was stepping out the door ...while I was still standing with the owner.. the owner said (direct quote) towards my husband : "Fine, get your ASS out of here!" I told the owner "That was uncalled for". I then walked out, and said we will not be back ever! The owner doesn't know how well I'm connected and his business will suffer! And to think my husband, who served this country for 22 years, gets treated this way by such a narcissistic owner!

We ate at the F&V last Friday & made a 5:45 pm reservation, due to demand we had to sit at a high top at the bar. We arrived on time and were seated right away. The bartender waited on fairly quickly. We ordered a couple of drinks and he returned with them pretty quickly as the restaurant wasn't full yet. He assumed we were ready to order but didn't go over any specials nor fish of the day, I felt rushed and ordered the Colossal Lasagne & my wife the eggplant rollatini. My beer was not cold but served in a frosted glass so it chilled a bit. He brought over a small piece of I think focaccia bread. The bread was good but he served it with olive oil without balsamic vinegar which is standard at Italian restaurants. The lasagna was a heathy serving but the meat sauce didn't have chop meat but some type of stranded beef similar to flank or skirt steak not bad but not enough meat. My wife didn't care for the rollatini however I ate the leftover and thought it was good even though I never order it. I normally tip 20% for decent service which I did, however from what you'll see in the below photo is that they figure the suggested tip on food, drink, alcohol tax, standard tax, and the CC service charge. To add a tip to a 10% tax standard tax, 15% alcohol tax, and 3% CC fee is what I would consider unethical and not customary. So look at your bill and tip accordingly! We probably won't be back.

We will 100% be back soon! This place was great, the atmosphere is fun and lively! The service was great, Carter was our waiter. He was attentive and friendly and had great food suggestions. He made sure our waters were full and kept checking on us without being overbearing, definitely hard to do as a server. Everyone at our table loved their dishes but dessert took the prize! The special for the week was the limoncello mascarpone cake, hopefully they bring it back soon because it was to die for. I would have put 5 stars but our only complaint was we saw one of the servers, who had glasses and a brownish red hair in a ponytail walking with a bowl of food and completely coughed all over it without covering her mouth and then proceeded to take the bowl of food to an outside table, it made us worry a little bit about what happens back in the kitchen that we don't see. Overall a great experience, can't wait until they have their liquor license but you can bring your own wine in so that is a nice alternative.

Great taste and excellent, personable service. Both of our dishes were very good and the outside patio was very relaxing.
