WORST PAPA JOHNS EVER!! I have several issues with this Papa Johns. - Pizza quality is terrible. We've ordered pizza several times here, and their pizza consistently has large bubble areas of no cheese. They must be skipping out on the cheese to save money. Little Caesar's $6 pizza is far better. - Pricing: Each Papa Johns runs their own deals, and this one is consistently the most expensive by far. You'd think with the added cost, they'd provide better pizza. NOPE! - Scammers. When we went to pick ip the pizza and stuck the credit card in the machine, the Papa Johns worker said there are inly 2 options for tip, I believe 20% and 25%. She tried hiding the "no tip" option. She tried convincing us that not tipping was not an option. Sorry folks, but simply picking up an overpriced pizza, we don't tip. - Politics shoved in your face. Whatever your political affiliation, with the papa johns sign on the delivery car, you should keep that separate. Saw this papa Johns delivery car from a previous visit to the store. read more

I ordered ahead for pick up at 6:00, 5 L/XL pizzas. I got a text at 5:26 that my pizza was ready. I figured they would be under heat lamps and still hot and delicious by the time I could get it at 6:00. When I went to get them the staff at the store was very friendly. We got home with the pizza which was still hot and delicious and everyone enjoyed it. I just moved to the area and will definitely order from here again. read more

General manager told me that my pizza was made to his standards. I have recieved my same order for several years here and it has been hit or miss. But tonight I called the store to ask about why my extra pepperoni and salami only had a few slices on it. The general manager said that the employees have been making it wrong with too many slices on it. He was angry and rude. He spoke to me like I was a child. This man was rude and garbage to me. No way should someone speak to a customer in that way. I was polite and being light and calm until he spoke to me the way he did. I then told him he makes pizzas for a living and he should consider speaking politely to people if he wants their business. Obviously he does not care about customer care. I would be happy to accept his answer that the employees were going a bit crazy with his products if he spoke politely. But the way he said it was just rude and impolite. I also understand that they get a lot of mean customers, but I would never treat them that way. I took his attitude for a long time into the conversation, but I let loose after he just didn't get that I was trying to be understandable. Who treats their customers this way? Ordered our usual WORKS pizza. Was told it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. Arrived at Lenoir City, TN location 15 minutes after placing order. Was given a cold, dry pizza. First time disappointed at this location. Plan to order from different place next time! read more

Been going here for awhile now, first it was a rocky start getting the pizzas right. Now, its been great!! They know me by name and they now know how I like my pizzas. we encountered one of the worst customer service issues we have ever seen with this one. they were incredibly rude to my 59 year old disabled mother. and when I tried to call to get the conflict resolved, the manager robert was incredibly rude to me as well, said we were all lying and was just terrible. Oh Papa. You always stand by me. And so for that I am forever loyal to you. There is no other national fast food cardboard pizza chain that I trust. And I've tried them all. I mean, hey, I know you understand it when I go elsewhere for something more gourmet or for change of scenery. Because every city I go to, I always count on you. And every time I'm a lazy bones at home I come back to you. When the weather is crap and snowzilla comes to town and noone else is on the road I know your drivers blaze a trail to bring cheese and pepperoni to my door. The cheese ain't nothing fancy and the toppings aren't picked straight from the garden. And your freshness maxes out at 48 hours. (Warning: flavor transforms leftovers into monstrosity around 3 days.) But my order is right. Every time. Take-out is easy. Service is friendly. Flash fast pizza. Price is right. It works. Today i call to check if they can prepare a half and half pizza (super hawaian and zeisty italian trio) since you can't do that over the phone app. unfortunately the employee who took my call did not understand what I was saying and hangup on me. I did order a whole hawaian over the app and when i pick it up I told them about the incident, pretty much they didn't care. The pizzas are OK but their customer service makes them just another place to double check if they deserves our business. read more

What a horrific store and store manager. Order was placed at 5:45 and we were told to expect the delivery by 6:30. At 7:00 we called the store (my husband was hung up on 3 times)to check the status and was told they didnt have any orders from us. However, my credit card was charged 29.67. Yes , I have the proof. Now, I had to drive to this location to try to get my money back which they refused. They asked me to pay for more pizza. I ended up calling corporate offices to try to get my money back. So 2 hours later, no money and no pizza. Grayson the manager never even apologized (well she did after I told her she had never even bothered to) she just wanted more money for them to make the pizza. Now, I have the proof of charges on my credit which she didnt care about. She simply rolled her eyes and acted indignant. As of now, I'm told corporate will refund but that may take 48 hours. I ordered a pizza to be delivered to my house because I couldn't leave the house. The estimated delivery time said 725-735pm and at around 750pm I called to check on my pizza and the first time I called a man grunted a few unrecognizable words into the phone and then hung up on me. I called back and Hailey answered. Hailey was so sweet and helpful she said that the pizza was on the way and that they had gotten really busy so there would be a delay. I understand that sometimes places get busy and I was satisfied with waiting an extra 35-40 minutes to get my pizza. Pizza was delivered and I opened my box to find that there was no garlic sauce. I order from papa johns because of the garlic sauce. I tried to get the delivery guys attention but he was already gone so I called the store. Thankfully I wasn't hung up on this time and Gavin answered. I explained the situation and asked if he could have the delivery guy turn around to bring some garlic sauce and his response was to COME TO THE STORE AND GET SOME. If I was able to drive to the store I would have but I explained that I had my pizza delivered because my cars tires had been slashed earlier today. He then told me that the store had gotten busy and this just happens. I told him that I was disappointed and I am. I understand that sometimes things get busy but if you make a mistake at least attempt to fix it. This papa johns has the laziest employees and the worst customer service that I have experienced. Obviously they don't comprehend hiring people with even halfway decent communication skills. When you order a pizza with olives on half, don't you expect more than 8 olives on that half? I didn't, so I called within a minute if placing my online order to make sure they weren't skimpy on those olives, and my wings were double cooked (since they're practically raw when they send through their convayer type oven once). None the less I give em 20 minutes to get it right and ofcourse they couldn't. They wanted to argue with me because the phone guy, Jake didn't tell them until the order was made. So I told them I'd wait so they could make it correctly. They continued to argue about my cost for half olives on my pizza. I told them I didn't mind paying the difference if there was a extra charge, but I was no dumbass since I worked for a papa johns before. I know they charge full price even when you order it on half. So he then told me not to cuss him. I said "cuss you, I just told you I'm not a dumbass!" (over-sensitive pansies) so then he tells me to calm down. Me. A woman with a special needs child getting a retreat (supposedly) from cooking for the first time in over three weeks. He tells me to 'calm down'. Well buddy, "I'll tell you what", I said "you just go ahead and give me a refund and I'm done with you all." Next thing you know Jake the person whom was supposed to relay the order specifications prior to the order being made was offended because I looked at him to get his name from his name tag. He says "why are you starring at me" so I replied, "my apologies, had no idea you were such a snowflake dear". I got my money back and told the gentleman at the cash register to have a beautiful evening. I'm through giving money to places that can't run a business properly and hiring jokes who don't care.
