I wish I could rate as a 3.5 star…read more We stopped by Fork & Vine in Lenoir City for lunch today. Overall, we thought the food was good, maybe even very good. I also appreciate supporting locally owned restaurants over national chains whenever I can. All things being equal, I'll choose the small business every time. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a small town Italian restaurant, and the service was perfectly acceptable. I don't have any complaints about the cleanliness, the staff, or the quality of the food. My only criticism is the value. For lunch, my wife and I ordered two iced teas, Chicken Alfredo with chicken, and Chicken Parmesan. Both entrees were $24 each. Our bill before tax and tip was $61. By the time tax and a standard tip were added, we were at about $74. The portions were average. They weren't small, but they certainly weren't generous either. The meals did not include a side salad, and we were served one small piece of bread each. If you wanted more bread, there was an additional charge. If I could make one suggestion to the owner, it wouldn't be to lower the prices. Instead, I would focus on increasing the value. At these price points, especially in a small town, I think every entree should include unlimited bread and a side salad. That small addition would completely change my perception of the experience. As it stands, I don't see myself returning unless the value proposition changes. Not because the restaurant isn't good. Not because it wasn't clean. Not because the food wasn't enjoyable. It's simply because I don't think the overall experience matches the price. Had we added salads and extra bread, our lunch would have been pushing $100 after tax and tip, and that's difficult to justify when there are other restaurants in the area offering a more complete meal for similar or even lower prices. I genuinely hope they succeed because locally owned restaurants are important, and I'd much rather support them than a chain restaurant. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. I simply think the value proposition needs to improve. If every entree came with a side salad and unlimited bread, I would gladly give them another try.

Nice outdoor patio - that is dog friendly- yes right here in Lenoir City! The owner Will is kind and welcoming and is there to make sure all is running well. I picked up two small pizzas and a spaghetti & meatballs. I was actually quite impressed with the pizzas, one being a small with sausage and pepperoni and the other a Super Vegetarian with mushrooms, peppers, green and black olives, and tomatoes. I hate olives, yet somehow I still liked that pizza! The toppings were well balanced, thoroughly cooked cheese, a good amount of sauce, and a decent bake on the dough. The spaghetti was the definition of average though. Almost no sauce so I can't say how it tasted because thankfully I had pasta sauce at home. The meatballs were fine but nothing to sing about. Gondola or no gondola, I would row back to Gondolier for another pizza and perhaps try something else like their sandwiches!

Wings had no celery or sauce with it and Stromboli had added ingredients that were not preferred or liked at all and made eating it miserable because I had to dismember it to pull out all the unwanted excess. It's very open and spacious in the brewery. And now that I know it's dog-friendly, the pup will be coming with us next time!. They have bands occasionally, too - so make sure you check the schedule. We arrived one night, and the band was sold out - so we had to leave, but had just enough time to have a brew and a pie. So check in before heading that way to ensure you can indeed get in. It can get busy, and the line can get long - so be prepared, and you might want to get two at a time those nights. As for the food, I have to say the Greek salad was AMAZING. Super fresh, zingy dressing. Just so good. The pizza was decent - nice thin crust and fresh toppings. Will it go down as the best pizza you've had - nah, but it goes good with a cold brew. Overall solid place.

Will totally be back as it was a great laid back atmosphere.
