    Sara helped me add some gorgeous flare to my husband's birthday event as well as my son's baptism luncheon. Not only was the work I received the highest quality and beauty, she was very professional to work with, answered all of the questions I had with so much patience (which were many, lol), and overall just very kind and thoughtful. Best of all, her pricing is affordable and by far the most reasonable for the quality you receive. She provided me with fun and innovative ideas that helped separate my events from the rest and make them extra special (example: a giant face on stick of my husband's face (one young, one old) for my guests to take photos with for his birthday!) The prayer cards she designed for my son's baptism followed my specific theme perfectly as well. I will happily use Sara again and again and I recommend you do the same- you won't be sorry!

    After the struggle to find the right place for wedding invites, I found Sara! I had told her I was very tight on time, so she managed to give me everything I asked for in a WEEK!!     Everyone stop looking anywhere else!!! Check out Sara at formal invites! She is a one person show who cares about her clients and making sure they get what they want! Sara helped me so much through this invitation process. At first, I honestly didn't think invitations were going to be difficult; in my head just put your names and where to go on it right? No, not that simple! There's so much more to it and trying to figure out the language you want to use was pretty difficult! Sara helped us through the process the entire time and her responses were always so quick. She is super transparent with her customers which is amazing because not everyone is like that and she'll tell you what is the most bang for your buck. Her company has tons of styles to choose from and you really can't go wrong. Everyone is loving our invites thanks to her! It's setting the tone for our wedding which is an important statement to make!!

    I went in Friday afternoon only for 4in cake pans but walked out with $100 worth of crafts and more…read morebirthday decor. I love all the selections available and the store is well organized. I had some issues with customer service though and left unhappy. There was a small line of three people. I was last. No one using self checkout. No one at the balloon bar. I asked a male worker if someone different is running the bar as I needed my balloons blown up and he said the lady at the register would do it. OK, no problem. I waited in line for my turn. When it was my turn, a woman came to the front and told the lady at the register to take her break. She greeted me and was ready to help me. We planned to start with getting the balloons blown up but the lady going on break said no, she needs to pay first. OK, no problem. The woman helping me told other customers who had formed a line behind me that self checkout was available. We finished checking out and when it was time to blow up my balloons, other customers needed help with self checkout, kept asking questions and she completely stopped assisting me to assist other customers. It was still my turn. She then told me she was going to quickly checkout a woman with a giftcard and someone else would be there to help me because she needed help to blow up the balloons and checkout customers. I let her know I had another place to be and was running behind schedule, that I waited my turn in line and would like her to finish assisting me. She said again that she needed help and wanted me to wait for someone else to come up front. This truly bothered me because why did I need to wait for the additional support opposed to other customers? Not only did I not have extra minutes because I was already in the store longer than expected but it was unfair to expect me to continue waiting to finish. I was made to pay in advance but service was delayed. I left. I returned Saturday morning to return the $20 balloons purchased and used balloons I'd previously purchased instead. Saturday morning customer service was great!

I know potters, whether professionals or hobbyists, who swear by their products from across the world, so when I found out they had a store in San Diego... well, I had to stop by. First of all, the store itself has limited hours. They mostly run their business online, so make sure you check their hours before visiting. They are well-stocked with most of their items, and though there was only one employee, he was so patient with all my questions and willing to check the backstock for any items I wanted to take a look at! There are sample tools and swatches of every item they have, from their famous carving/trimming tools, handle extruders, glaze swatches, and even samples of bisque/finished pieces that have been sanded with their diamond sanding products. They also sell a healthy selection of Aardvark clays (both cone 5 and cone 10 varieties) and offer a discount if you buy more than 50 lbs. I bought 50lbs of clay, a couple of carving tools, and a variety of sanding pads. I wanted to get a set of their diamond sanding discs as well, but they were completely sold out after the holidays. I think I'll be buying those online, but it's really nice to be able to see everything in person before purchasing!

    I was looking for a place that sold Bernina Sewing machines. As a longtime Bernina user, I'd been…read morehoping to find a dealer nearby, and I was happy to find Cozy's. Walking in, I was greeted by a huge showroom filled with every kind of sewing machine imaginable. On one side, bolts of fabric, quilts, and precut packs completed the best of all worlds for my sewing needs. I spoke with Peter, whom I gather is the manager (owner?). He was welcoming and knowledgeable, guiding me to the modern Bernina that could replace my beloved "old friend." I explained my past experience with Bernina and the machine's demise, and he showed me how the newer model offered improvements in stitching and features. I had recently bought a Janome at another place and was regretting the switch. Peter offered a generous trade-in deal: he'd credit my nearly-new Janome toward a Bernina purchase at full value. I walked out with a Bernina and the sense that I'd reunited with an old companion. Peter also suggested a lesson to maximize the machine's capabilities, which I booked with Tami, a store instructor. Tami spent an hour walking me through the machine's ins and outs, and I left feeling confident and inspired. To top it off, a few accessories I wanted were available at a deep discount, thanks to Peter's careful pricing. The experience at Cozy's Creative Center was wonderful and I will be going back to attend their many classes offered for sewing projects.

Infant gowns, smocked dresses, curtains etc... I thought last month, it was on its last leg. I was so upset. I moved from Buffalo NY so not near my repair shop. I found Cozy Creative Center. Lisa, the manager had so much knowledge not only of Bernina but every machine in her shop. An accomplished sewer herself, she helped me navigate towards which machine to look at next, if needed. But before she did this, she said she would have Peter look at my old machine. A few days later, Peter called, he not only loved working with this old Swiss machine but said he could get it back to new in a few days. HE DID! When I went in to retrieve it, he excitedly showed me exactly what he repaired and had me sew a bit to make sure I was satisfied... It sewed smoother and faster then ever! I am more then satisfied. I will always be grateful to Peter for his skills. There are not many people left with this knowledge. He told me to enjoy my machine, that I did not need another. Fantastic service, honest and reliable. I will be back. Thank you both Lisa and Peter.

I was super excited because it looks real and is beautiful. I'm so excited to decorate at the end of the year. I was impressed by the girl at checkout. She wasn't flustered by the crowds. The tree I was waiting to get packed for me ended up being packed and sold to someone else due to poor communication. She immediately made sure I knew what else was available and any additional discounts she could ask about on my behalf. Loved that! They were putting out Valentine's day and St. Patty's day stuff in December. I thought this is crazy but I will definitely be there next week for the Valentine sales. I love all the coupons weekly and the variety of crafts. You can't go wrong at HL.

Every time I…read morehave been to that store recently (I'm from out of town but visit my mother frequently), I have experienced Kara. She should be teaching a master class on customer service. I'm a gen xer & remember decent customer service from yesteryear that seems like a thing of the past, but she has surpassed anything I have experienced. As soon as we walked in the door, she was passing by in the midst of her work and greeted us, and then asked if we needed help finding anything in particular. Every time I saw her in the store, she was so busy helping others or working with inventory when she wasn't tending to customers. She seemed to be aware of what was happening around her at all times and so attentive. I was very impressed with her, thinking she's the employee of a lifetime. She seemed to put all of herself into her job. She's unlike any store employee I've ever encountered and as I stated, really made an impression on me. Then I asked her if they have fabric because my store up North has a small selection. She said they don't currently have fabric but went above & beyond by letting me know which nearby stores would carry fabric. I felt like the 1939 Miracle on 34th Street movie when Santa referred a customer to Gimbals when Macy's didn't have what she was looking for. The next time I went there was for a curbside pickup order. I was expecting the usual lengthy wait and me having to call the store. She came out with my order like a minute later and again left me feeling that she was so engaging and professional. I had to check her name tag to leave a review. I'm the sort who isn't motivated to leave a review unless I have an exceptionally good or bad experience and Kara is without doubt the best in customer service experience I've ever had. She is hard working and helpful and in a league of her own. My usual Michaels experience is not being acknowledged by employees until I get to the checkout and get the impression I am imposing if I have to ask a question, so Kara truly stands out as exceptional. Her people skills and work ethic make me think that she would put all of herself into any job and be good at it and that if I were ever starting a business, I would want to hire her because she's a huge asset. She makes a huge difference there.
