As a business owner myself, it pains me to leave this negative review. It's actually my first because I realize people can have bad days and I would never want to negatively affect a person's business. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided from this business. I ordered custom acrylic invitations which I designed myself. It all started great and they turned out beautifully, minus the fact that they were delayed. Many weeks prior to ordering the invitations, I asked Sara if I need to take any special shipping precautions, whether it be padded envelopes, etc,. I was advised by Sara that this is unnecessary. I went ahead and placed the order with the invitations and envelopes recommended. My first guest received the invitation by mail, only to find it was broken in half. Luckily it was a close friend and we figured it was an isolated incident. But it wasn't. Every single invitation arrived broken. I completely understand that Sara cannot be responsible for the shipping so I do not fault her for the postal service being rough with the mail. However, I feel I was given terrible advice on how to mail them. I would have gladly paid more for a safer option. Additionally, after doing some research, these acrylic invitations are 1.5-2 times thinner than what other vendors recommend for this material. I was never given any information about what thickness I would be getting, let alone any pricing options for different thicknesses. Again, I would have gladly ordered and paid for the stronger, better quality option. Now, the icing on the cake. I am an extremely understanding and forgiving person. I understand mistakes happen and at the end of the day, there's not a whole lot that can be done since the invitations were already sent. Where a business shows its' true colors is in how they handle situations. Sara was extremely defensive and handled it very unprofessionally. After many frustrating text messages, she finally did offer a small discount and a digital invitation, which I declined. I hired her as an expert in her field of invitations. I hope she takes this as a learning experience so her future clients don't have the same problem. I will take it as a learning experience to do more research on my end before making important purchases. read more
