Disreputable and dishonest. They did not serve children or families well. They did not support their staff correctly. They provided no training and poor support to staff. They lied about the work they did and did not keep accurate records. The were neglectful. It was a disaster. Please do not consider them, if they are at all open in any capacity or reopened. read more

Camp worth review: I definitely do not recommend. My child was there for 4 weeks and came back worse than they went in. The higher up management people all put on a good show but once my child came home and told me horrible stories about how the workers on the units (who they spent the most time with) treated them, it was scary. Lots of fighting amongst the residents and disrespect from the cw workers. They teased the kids and didn't not create a safe space for them. I was expecting my child to learn new coping skills, make friends, attend therapy and we paid a lot of money to give them this opportunity which was not even close to what they promised. I wish we had gone somewhere else. But I guess after all the trauma they caused, we will definitely have another opportunity to find something else. This place needed a total overhaul. read more

I don't do reviews ever but I had to do this one. ! have been to 6 rehabs now. I am a pro at this. I have been to the very best in terms of amenities and I have been to the ones you only see in your nightmares. This is by far the best and I will give you the reasons why. You get your own bedroom and when detoxing or going through PAWS ( Post Acute Withdrawals Syndromn, if you don't know what this they will explain it better but its basically withdrawals after the fact. They can feel the same but there are ways to handle it and they will show you). Having your own room was a big deal. Some even have their own bathtubs which was amazing. More than 90% of the staff have been in your shoes and know what you are going through. They actually care about your well being. They want nothing more than to see you succeed when you leave and will go to any lengths to make that happen. Even your doctor has been through it and I have never seen this. There food was alright. Nothing to write home about but the kitchen staff would surprise us with home made goodies and it was always welcome. The people I met there are just like you and I. Addicts and drunks. We come from very different walks of life but we can connect and relate to each other and talk about our situations in life and how we deal because we get each other. The camaraderie is heartfelt and real. You really get to know the care coordinators on a personal level. I needed smokes so badly that one walked me across the street to get them in 100 degree weather. That was above and beyond their job but they knew that would help me. Dontas think you won't be told no here, however.You will be told no here. Thats going to happen anywhere and especially in the real world. The thing is, when you are told no at the Fort it is because of a good reason even if you don't see it. I never needed anything I could not have. They will also set your aftercare plan up with the i's dotted and the t's crossed. Having been to rehab so many times I knew all that they were teaching me. I knew what to do when I got out and had the plan to do so. I was here to get my mind and body right. I knew I needed AA, I needed counseling, I needed boundaries, I needed to get a sponsor and work the steps. They showed me it was possible and how to do it. They set me up for success and I owe them my life and all that is in it for without them I would have none of this. I am actually happy now. I haven't been able to say that in 25 years. I have real friends who would die for me that I met there. This place gave me things I had forgotten existed. I had things happen to me when I was younger that I thought I could never let go of. If you can think of it it probably happened to me. Because of this I started using and drinking at 15. I had lost almost everyone around me wile I was drinking. My wife hated me, my 5 year old son thought I was going to die. No one liked me and I hated everyone. I was a burden and a curse to anyone near me. I would start withdrawing when my BAC was .2. I had seizers, DTs, and I always felt like I was going to die. I have severe anxiety and PTSD and had been drinking and drugging for 25 years to numb the pain. I did not know how to live life at all. I was basically going go die and no rehab could help me because none had before. This place was different. I do not know who is reading this but I implore you, if you need help please reach out to the Fort. Even if you don't want to go like I didn't want to go, give it a chance. You can do 30 days standing on your head. The worst that can happen is you have gained a little knowledge and some clean time. The best thing that can happen is you get your life back and all the tools you need to conquer what is ahead. Today is my birthday and I turned 40. I am sober and loving life even with all the problems that go with it. I can only say this because of the people at the Fort. Without them I would probably be dead or close to it. If you have an adolescent who needs help with mental health treatment DO NOT TAKE your child here. You will not be contacted to consent to medication BEFORE medications are prescribed and GIVEN to the minor child. You will not be able to reach your child to communicate. You will not be an active part of their treatment plan as the care is so uncoordinated and disorganized. No one ever answers the phone. You're always transferred to a voicemail. No one ever calls back. They coerced my child into saying she had an active plan to kill herself to be able to discharge her from the facility because they were tired of dealing with her. The facility and every single provider should and WILL be reported to the correct licensure boards. read more

I am thoroughly disappointed with the care my family has received from this facility. I would not recommend sending a loved one here. The staff is disorganized and completely ignores family members requests to be involved in the recovery process. Don't blame it on HIPAA because that does not apply when the patient is requesting the therapy sessions and no follow up is done after numerous requests. Once the check is cashed, don't expect to hear from them. You should also have a discharge plan in place once you leave this place because you are on your own after your 30 days is up. I am incredibly concerned that my family member will be back in another facility shortly after leaving this place. read more

this was a joke, I brought my daughter there for drug and psychotherapy, she sat and watched tv for most of the day, there was no one on one therapy, there were constant fights, run always, cops called, and no outings (she didn't get fresh air for the whole 9 days she was there)even though they told me there were, they also told me insurance was contacted and approved and after a week they said insurance was denied, so I had to drop everything and pick her up, still haven't heard back about my amount I paid. read more

I have been to several inpatient chemical dependency recovery centers in the past with little sobriety time afterwards. Fort Behavioral was a different experience. The day I was to be admitted, I overdosed in the waiting room and died on their floor. With the quick response from my wife and their nursing staff, they were able to pull me out and save my life. After a trip to hospital, I went back 2 days later to be admitted. Like most addicts, I did not want to be there. (Even after dying) After all, this was just a money grab on their behalf, right? I fought them every step of the way at first. They met me where I was at any given point. Unlike every other rehab in the past this place fought back. They did not lay down or just go through the motions like other treatment centers. They didn't worry about my feelings, they got straight to the point. EVERY DAY, Chad, Christine and Michael broke me down with logical truth and refused to let the addict inside me take control. They were strong and didn't budge on my bullshit. It got to the point that I started trusting them, and these guys broke me open. This started the recovery process for me. The staff there are all in recovery as well, so they can relate to where we are and what we're going through. This was the 1st 30 day treatment center I've ever completed thanks to the staff pushing me. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to leave on several occasions, but was reminded what was waiting for me on the outside. After discharge from residential, I immediately enrolled in their IOP program. This I researched increases your odds exponentially. After a 30 year addiction that has taken everything(including my life almost), I finally have a strong foundation to build a sober life on. Look, there is no perfect rehab out there, but this place was real. If your actually tired of the hell of addiction and want to start a life of freedom, this place can help. If you want to keep making excuses and complain about every single thing, then no place can help you! If you need help, stop making excuses and make the call to get FREE. SF read more

Thank you for your services and same day admissions. Upon initial contact, staff have been courteous on the phone, in person, and throughout the days of service. For example, John always made it a point to hear concerns, answer questions, and take the time to listen and was very accommodating and professional at all times. Never felt rushed through the process, or swayed for services. Weekend responsiveness is excellent with John who displayed great interpersonal communication skills. If you are a family member of a patient, don't expect to be involved in the recovery. The staff avoids concerns from family members to the extent of not returning calls or emails. Completely avoiding any conversation since you've already paid. It's so disorganized. The schedule is changed all the time BC staff doesn't show up for work. They even mixed men and women together. My mom is on week 3 there and I'm so worried that not only has she not received the proper treatment but she will unfortunately be back in another facility one day due to the negligence of fort behavioral. read more

If you value your child's mental health don't bring them here... they will not help them and the conditions on the inside are not good. My daughter was discharged after 4 days. And they kept all her hygiene stuff for which they allowed the other girls to use as they pleased. The staff is good at pretending up in the front lobby. Had a staff member talk to me about my child who couldn't even bother to put her phone down or introduce herself.. for a 20 min conversation. This place was shut down by the starts in Jan 2023 for putting Childrens welfare at risk. My kid said the food is great but that was about it. Read the negative reviews they are pretty much true and show a pattern of the same type of behavior within this place. If you go even further to previous employees reviews of this place it tells a completely different story of false reviews by employees pushed by management. And a repeated statement of corporate only caring about the money and business. This is just from my personal experience. And can only say from what my daughter had to go threw. And what lies where told to me. Wasn't even worth investigating into because they aren't worth the effort. Mesa Springs down the road is a much better place and actually help my daughter instead of pushing her off for whatever reason. read more

I want to say thank you to this facility for saving my daughter's life. She had been in rehab twice before coming here, both unsuccessful. She went from being totally hopeless, unable to drive, function, relate and on her way to prison to a thriving, beautiful, confident and productive member of society. I am so proud of her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. After dealing with her drug addiction for ten years plus I never thought she would lead a stable, happy life. It truly is a miracle! read more

At this point, I am giving this facility a one only because that is the lowest you can go. I understand policies and procedures but putting someone out on the street without so much as a phone call and then you cannot get hold of anyone on the weekends to find out what in the world is going on? These people are entrusted with people with addictions lives and they are very unresponsive to family members. It is a new facility with very few inhouse patients and I would think they could be much more timely and responsive. And what rehabilitation center doesn't have an emergency person you can get hold of on the weekend? Very unhappy at this point. Will update if they ever contact me with more details.
