My child learned so many amazing things and was excited to go to school each day. After infant 2, you no longer get activity logs or pictures of your child even though it state ms you will in the parent handbook that you sign. 45 day withdrawal notice without proration so be sure to time it perfectly or you'll lose out on your deposit. My child no longer enjoys going to school and haven't been able to connect with the new teacher with the exception of 1 that has since resigned. 2 of the 3 teachers in Toddler class is no longer there within such a short period of time. . The food is unhealthy (Apple Jacks, ect ) for a 20 month old even-though my child feeding directions show nothing with added sugar. I really want to like this school but with the higher ratios than all of the neighboring schools and multiple undocumented accidents leaving my child with marks and no explanation I just can't recommend this school. $1700 per month, + $150 quarterly supply fee... not bad but not worth it for what you get

We have had the pleasure of being in 3 different classes, each with caring and attentive teachers. Our initial transition was difficult because she would not take a bottle at first. In Infant 1 class, Ms. Eudora was patient, creative and persistent until our daughter was a bottle drinking champ. In Infant 2, Ms. Cody and the team provided so many exciting activities and were so excited to share updates as our daughter's language, social, fine motor and gross motor skills progressed. In the Infant 3 class, we have seen her vocabulary and motor skills grow even more. Ms. Yaleni, Ms. Ana and Ms. Evelyn make sure all her needs are met and she is academically stimulated. We have always felt our daughter is safe and cared for as an individual and as a growing learner while at Mariner. The building is new and is kept clean and decorated for various seasons and holidays. The play area is expanding thanks to the school's acquisition of an adjacent lot. Parents are kept updated through a weekly email newsletter and daily through the ProCare app. Teachers update the app for naps, diaper changes and meals as well as posting pictures of activities once or twice a day. Parents can chat directly with teachers through the app as well. The school provides healthy, age appropriate meals included in the price of tuition.

Located in the rice village area this school consists of classy little "cottage" classrooms interconnected with a beautiful and serene walkway. At the time we had a 3-year old attending another Montessori program nearby, but the focus on Montessori instruction did not seem as strong. We transferred her to St. Stephen's school, and she started her first year of the three year primary program - and we've been with the school for the seven years since. We enrolled our second child when she was 18 months. The two things that drew us to the school, and have kept us here, are the commitment to academics and the safe social space created by the teachers and faculty. Academically, both our girls started grasping reading independently within their kindergarten year, with our older child being able to read at a high-school level by third grade (as confirmed by the school's annual IOWA standardized testing). Because of the Montessori format, each student can progress at their own pace, allowing students to rise higher in subjects they excel in, while still receiving additional instruction in subjects they have not yet mastered. The student to teacher ratio, allows the students to have one-on-one conversations with the teachers about their work. Early on, we were told by one of the Middle School Parents the best thing about the school was the lack of bullying, even through the middle school years. They noted that since the program is so small, that everyone found a common ground to get along. We have noticed this too through our children's advancement through the primary, lower elementary, and upper elementary levels. The classes are a size that no one is left out. The teachers encourage the students to allow themselves grace each day when completing assignments and reaching goals, and the kids are encouraged to follow the platinum rule (treat others how THEY want to be treated). Finally, we've loved knowing that our kids are in an environment where they are looked after. We know all the teachers by name, and regardless of what level they teach they know and recognize our kids, and know them by name. This reassures us that our children are in a safe space where they can focus on learning and making friends.
