Absolute best place to stay if you're cruising. Parking is free and golf cart will pick you up and take you to the port for $10. They passed all the cars in line and we arrived in record time there is a Bistro across the street where you receive a free breakfast! All in all it was a great experience!

Fort Conde is my go-to lodging when I'm driving across the state. The breakfast is AMAZING each and every time I go. The main house is stunning (I haven't stayed in any of the other buildings) and you can feel that you are literally steeped in history. That being said, of course, some of the comforts of a modern hotel may be lacking, due to the fact that the structure is a couple of hundred years old, and you won't find modern architectural components such as plentiful outlets. But the management of Fort Conde has a Keurig in each room, jets in the updated bathtubs, and towels and sheets so fantastic you'll go home and buy the same brand for yourself (I actually did this). Did I mention the breakfast? No matter how early you wanted to get on the road, it would be a veritable t-r-a-g-e-d-y to miss the breakfast.

We fell in love with place. It definitely was a great find. We were in the smaller room but it was perfect for our overnight stay. It was very comfortable and the bathroom and kitchenette were very clean with great towels and bath/shower combo. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The one of a kind historic hotel and the restaurant will be our go to when on our trips from Houston to Florida.

I go out of my way to stay here. I'm on the road 250+ days a year. This is my favorite place to stay. Quaint and personal. Cozy home away from home!

Beautiful, comfortable. Easy check in, walking distance to historical sights. We really enjoyed our stay.

I'm going 5 stars although they do fail on Covid precautions. The south's not too darn good on following any type of government recommendations, never have been, but setting that aside we did love this place. It's in its own little section of Mobile and does take a step back in time. It's walkable to some great spots for food and drinks. It's a BnB. Super comfy mattress. Very quiet and the breakfast was fabulous. Don't miss it.

The best Bed & Breakfast. They make it very easy to check in. The rooms are very well decorated. A nice comfy bed, a table and chair, coffee maker, fridge, private bathroom with jet tub. Great location. Easy to park. Great location for walking to everything. Lots to do and see in Mobile. Restaurants, parks, water, bars and so much more. Rise and shine to the best breakfast ever. Made to order shrimp and crawfish eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast, omelet, fresh fruit, homemade granola...whatever you are in the mood for Robbie delivers! The breakfast was truly the highlight!!! I highly recommend!

Truly the Mary Poppins of BnB stays - Fort Conde Inn is practically perfect in every way. In fact, if I could think of one way Fort Conde could improve I'd include it here just to construct a less sappy, gushingly glowing review, but truly, this is a southern inn dreams are made of. The style is southern chic with original wooden floors, enormous oriental rugs, period chandlers and furniture. But the modern amenities are totally luxurious with incredibly comfortable beds, linens, towels, robes, L'Occitane toiletries and deep jetted soaking tubs. Wifi is fast and free (as it should be) and Keurig coffee makers in every room. Each morning there's a cooked-to-order breakfast at a communal kitchen table from 7:30-9am - today's offerings were waffles and ice cream, omelets, french toast or a seafood benedict with crab and crawfish over asparagus and an english muffin. My bene was easily the best dish I had in Mobile, and trust me, I ate very well here, so certainly not be default. So how about this: if you only enjoy hotels with minimalist Nordic design and modern urban industrial stylings, Fort Conde isn't for you. But if you're interested in soaking up some serious southern charm and hospitality in a historic home with all of the modern amenities, book immediately.

Amazing breakfast presentation.

This hotel is amazing, I found it on hotels.com and it's really a B&B, with all the amazing amenities you find at high end resorts. It's quaint and really warm and friendly. I can't say enough about Taylor Giles, the General Manager. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable - helping with my late arrival and explaining how breakfast works and offering suggestions for nearby visits for food and attractions. I stayed in the Carriage House area and on the ground floor, so there were a few stairs, but it was easily accessed. I was there for business and the only slight concern was the slow wifi for working in the room, but it wasn't consistent - a couple times it was slower and the rest of the time it was fine. There were really fluffy towels, and the bathrobe was huge and the kitchen was nice to have...fridge, sink, microwave, etc. The pillows and bedding were wonderful! I think the cats stole the show and breakfast was divine. That chef is so nice and accommodating. What a lovely break from the traditionally boring hotel. THANK YOU I'll be back!

However it was 8:30am and I still had not received fresh towels. I decided to email management. I did not have the manager's email, so I went to the front desk to ask. I asked the front desk receptionist Mark if Hiral Patel was the manager, because I saw the name tag on the wall. His response was very hostile and aggressive towards me. His response to my question caused me to feel that he would physically harm me. That is when I decided to record him. The only thing that I asked him was if Hiral Patel was the manager. Mark responded and said "That is the only person that you need to talk to tomorrow." He had no manners or respect for me. I then told him that I did not receive clean towels by 8:00am ; because that is when the audit employee at the front desk told me they would come. He continued to raise his voice at me and he also called Alabama Protection Agency to escort me from the property. The Protection officer was holding his gun holster, as I was in the hotel room preparing to leave, and also in the elevator. I thought that he may have wanted to shoot me. I was non-confrontational the entire time of this situation ( I have recording of every interaction I have made with employees and staff).

Cool citrus shampoo, conditioner and soap. Close to Panda Express and other food. Big TV and fast internet. Check-in staff was friendly and helpful. Only negative was someone was speaking Spanish really loud below my window for an hour waking me up at 6 AM. I didn't have the air conditioner on over night and am on the second floor, so the windows don't seem to be very sound resistant.

I checked all my hotel apps and found this Marriot Property that was highly rated and affordable for the price. The hotel looked newer and the rooms looked very modern and clean. Check-in was seamless and I found myself in a very large room. The room was set up perfectly for a business traveller. The room had USB and electrical outlets strategically placed so there were ample areas to plug in my devices. The wifi was easy to connect to and had a very strong signal, perfect for connecting through a VPN or Firewall while still being able to connect to my streaming services. The room itself was very spacious, well decorated and almost a full-sized kitchen. My bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep every night I was there. The property has many areas where guests can socialize and connect on the first floor if they don't want to just stay in their rooms. The lobby was bright with an array of tables and chairs to relax and connect to your devices. The Fitness center was above average and had a very good assortment of fitness equipment including free weights, exercise balls and multiple cardio machines. You can get a good workout in the gym. The food served at breakfast had a good assortment of hot and cold items, healthy choices and of course plenty of pastries, baked goods and very good coffee. This was the perfect location for being close to customers, and restaurants and for travelling in the area and into Mobile. I would put this hotel high on my list for future visits to the Mobile area. The only critique I have is that the rooms are very large and the TVs in the main area and the bedrooms are very small.
