Cavatelli with sausage, broccoli rabe, garlic

This place was so good I went for a lunch meeting and then went BACK for dinner while traveling through. Staff was friendly and casual, it felt easy to be here. I could tell the staff also loves the food by their recommendations. For lunch I had the burrata toast, which was a large portion and delicious w fig, hazelnut and browned butter drizzle. I saw my lunchmate's dishes and they all looked amazing, but I had to choose between the cavatelli and the paccheri. I went with the cavatelli, which was so good I have to withstand eating the whole portion. It had a light sauce, the slight bite of the broccoli rabe and sausage. So good on a cold evening. Definitely going to bookmark this for my next trip in.

I love it here! I'm sad they closed my favorite location, but I ended up at this location, which was nice too! I had the sausage pizza and the bread pudding, which are my two favorites here! I also love their pasta, s'mores pudding, and their drinks. The Armonk location has indoor and outdoor seating with heat lamps. They also have a large bar area and great drink specials. I'd recommend checking this place out if you love fresh pizza. They also have two other locations which are still open.

After a long drive we wanted a bar to grab a beer .. asked around and were told about this place . Beautiful decor and lots is space inside and outside . The food was served hot and that is always a plus . Arancini : was the very best , the sauce was simply amazing . Wood fired chicken wings : they were ok but not seasoned enough , was kind of tasteless Chicken cutlet : that was definitely OVER FRIED.. it was very dry and though , don't suggest that one . The place is beautiful but the service is poor , we went around 2:30pm and as you see in the picture there weren't a lot of people there . We sat at the bar and we basically had to chase people to serve us , there was a lot of people there but they are lost in La la land instead of paying attention to service . I hope they work on that !!

I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.

Haven't been here in about 2 years and this place continues to make delicious pizzas! We ordered their Tenderoni Pizza and Wood-Fire Cauliflower as an appetizer. Both were soooo good!! Also, our server was super professional and sweet. She gave us recommendations and made sure to check in with us during our dinner.

Forgot the name of the pizza!

We came here for a linner (lunch+dinner) celebration after my sister's graduation. We were able to easily get seated as a party of 7. The food was good, tasty pizza and other entrees as well. Good coffee and dessert. Our server was pleasant. My mom thought it was kind of pricey for a pizza restaurant, but overall we had a good time.

So, this one was a real doozy of a visit. The drinks were fair, with our order being a Goose Island…read moreIPA, Long Island iced tea, and a pomegranate martini. The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.
