Hands down, best pizza in Westchester. Their sauce is SOOOO tasty! Their Dough is on point. Since I'm vegan, my go to is their Marinara Pie and sometimes I like to add mushrooms or olives. I also enjoy their broccoli rabe and fried potatoes (remove cheese and aioli to make it vegan) but still GOOD! I've eaten at all 3 locations and have decided the Armonk location is my favorite. I definitely got the vibe it's for a younger crowd, based on the staff and other guests at the restaurant but nonetheless my entire family liked their dinner. You can get your own entrees here, but the idea is you share everything tapa style (which personally I like). The menu items we got are: -Margarita pizza/ San gennaro pizza 9.5/10 -side of cauliflower 7/10 -fried mozzarella 10/10 -fried meatballs 10/10 -rice balls (i can't exactly remember the name) - very lemony 7/10 -pasta carbonara -very salty 9/10 -affogoto -delicious 11/10 -cappuccino - delicious 11/10 -bread pudding -delicious 11/10 -the cookie dessert with caramel -good but heavy 8/10 -gelato -delicious 10/10 Overall, food was very tasty and delicious - and the portions are decent too. I thought majority of the food was not hot enough at all. The only food that was an acceptable temperature was the pizza. However, the center of each pizza was soggy- so the first bite wasn't that great. Also they failed to bring out our cauliflower side dish, so by the time it was out we had finished our meal and then had to eat the cauliflower with nothing else. Besides my minor complaints, the service was very attentive and friendly. You can put a card up in the center of your table to let the staff know you need help and anyone will come over to you. Love this place !!!! Service is great, food is great, atmosphere AMAZING! Such a cool vibe inside. Basic Italian food you can't go wrong. Pizza is delicious I love the margarita pie, I had the short rib gnocchi absolute poked to perfection, my brother had the baked ziti which was fantastic he said the best baked ziti he had in a long time, and my mom had the bolognese which was to die for the pasta was cooked to perfection. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. My friend got cavateiil with sausage in a garlicky sauce with broccoli rabe. It was good but had way too much salt! My pork brasciole was tender and tasty. The only complaint I had was the salad was placed on the same plate and was wilting and warm. I didn't eat it. They need to offer a pasta with this dish. If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Absolutely delicious. We had two pizza dishes and two pasta dishes. Of course we tried the meatballs to start. I don't even like meatballs and they were cooked so perfectly with a nice crispy outside. Seriously delish. The tenderoni pizza with the chili honey syrup was out of this world. My boyfriend doesn't even like honey and he loved the sauce! For dessert we had the bread pudding and afogato - so delicious!!!! I loved everything. Our service was perfectly fine and our waitress/the manager still comped a pizza and our drinks because she felt bad we were waiting. I didn't even think we waited that long, so we really really appreciated that gesture. The pizza was actually ok but very very stingy on the cheese. The mozzarella sticks also were tasty if a bit under cooked. But really - only 4 sticks in an order. The chicken parm was so over salted that it wasn't enjoyable. And no pasta to go with it so you are basically eating a piece of over cooked fried chicken with sauce. And $9 for a virgin drink which was just juice and tea mixed together. I'd say this place should get a pass. read more

Been here many times but last weeks visit was my first happy hour. 8 of us met at the Armonk location. It was a good deal and I would definitely go back. I recommend the chicken parm sliders and the pizza was really good. Positives about Fortina in general...there are some really good dishes worth trying. We like to start with the Bibb salad and then get the pastasciutto (one of my favorites) an order of meatballs, and any of their veggie dishes. Their pizzas are all really good. We keep trying new ones and like them. If you have any questions or issues, they've always been very accommodating and friendly. It's a fun, lively place and the kids will enjoy it. Negatives, it is very loud. On one hand, it makes it lively but on the other hand, if you are at a table with friends to catchup, at peak times, you will have quite a challenge hearing them. read more

Took 20 minutes for our drinks to come out , my friend ordered a Corona then proceeded to tell us they ran out when the rest of drinks came out. I'm a HUGE fan of the Armonk location. I was very hesitant to try Fortina again after my horrible experience at the Stamford location. I came here on a busy Saturday night for dinner. Since it was just a friend and I, we just sat at the bar for food and drinks. The bartenders were so nice and funny. They were very interactive with us and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered sangria to start (one red, one white), the arancini and 2 pizzas - the Funghi and the All Amatriciana. Everything was great. Talk about heinous service, this is it. Food was good as per usual, but the service was unbearable - also as per usual. This is not just a COVID thing, the Wait staff at fortina armonk is horrible. No dedication to the job. Waiters lacked knowledge about menu items, which caused me to never get my cauliflower appetizer - only managed to mention that as my main course came out, AFTER i asked multiple times where it was. I'm surprised I didn't review this when I first visited! I've now visited twice and enjoyed it both times! I first visited as a last minute thing after work one day. The staff was so accommodating - they seated me near the bar area, but as there was a large party coming, they asked if I wanted to move to avoid being bumped by the large group. I did move and that was a good idea as the group seemed to grow exponentially while I was there. I planned a bit better this last time and made a reservation (and you probably want to do that because the place gets busy..fast...even on a Tuesday in the pouring rain). I've had a few items - the pizzas and some salads. The arugula salad is great - very light and refreshing. Pizzas are also wonderful - just the right amount of doughy texture on the end of the crust, but thin and nicely scorched. Delicious flavor on the sauce and the right amount of cheese and toppings - perfect! The wine list is good and there are plenty of options for everyone on the drink menu. Staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing. One small thing - the bathrooms are somewhat unmarked and I went by them without knowing they were bathrooms. The staff was quick to help, but a little direction would be helpful. All in all, a delicious spot in the area with reasonable prices, a fun atmosphere and great staff! This place is great. Christian Petroni's beginnings that launched him into a celebrity chef. This is where I feel his run of success began. The LB also known as the Luigi Bianco is imo the signature pizza here. This is a must have if you come here. An amazing take on an white pizza. All the pizzas are great but you must try this one if it is your first time. The pastaciutto which is although a fairly simple pasta, is perfectly done. For anyone who enjoys a simple spaghetti with tomato sauce and a little heat, you will not be disappointed here. All of their pastas I've enjoyed a lot but this one I shared with my table recently and it was a huge hit. The bread pudding dessert has been around for awhile and it's to die for. Also have heard the key lime pie is great too. Came here for Mother's Day and although it was packed, it's a perfect place to bring kids as they bring out the food very quickly, and it is super casual. I heard Christian say on the food network in regards to Fortina "Fortina is for the people". And he is right. This is a nice neighborhood joint with no frills/trying to be fancy. My family and I have been going to Fortina for years, we love the food. My favorite is the pastacuitto, but the wood fired half chicken is a close second. The pizza's fantastic too. You really can't go wrong with ordering anything, it's all great. The desserts are phenomenal too, my favorite is the bread pudding, but my brother loves the tartufo. The service is hit and miss. Sometimes we're in and out in thirty minutes, but other times it'll be a twenty minute wait for drinks. My family and I like to joke that it seems like the waitstaff are stoned half the time- it certainly adds positively to the vibe. Speaking of the vibe, it's a very nice restaurant. "It's not how you start, but how you finish" great words from Rob at Fortina as he met my girlfriend and I before our second dinner at Fortina. I gotta say these guys are so incredibly kind, and generous. After my last dinner at Fortina I was contacted by John Nealon expressing his apologies and expressing his wish that we come back and try again. Now before we get to that meal I want to express my thankfulness to Rob,John and the entire Fortina staff for their incredible kindness, its something you don't see that often and I really appreciated everything. Now I know what you're reading this for! THE SECOND MEAL! Our second dinner started with meeting Rob and being seated at the chefs table, we met the manager, our waiter and waitress, the chefs and well too many people to name but I loved um all full of energy and just a general vibe of wanting to have fun which was awesome! To start we ordered the polpo and crostini with foie gras. The polpo was grilled perfectly, total 180 from the one from the previous meal. This was tender and packed with flavor, one of the best I have ever had actually. It will absolutely be something I get every time I come back, and its something I think everybody should try if you like octopus. The toasted crostini with foie gras, apples and hazelnut knocked my f%#$ing socks it, so sweet and savory I could literally eat it all day everyday. Following them the kitchen sent us out some cauliflower and burratta. Now I'm not a fan of cauliflower but with that hazelnut romesco I sure as hell am (my girlfriend is also making me learn how to make that sauce cause she was in love with it too)! The burrata was also out of this world, rich but not overly rich it reminded me of something my grandmother would make and that is something great! Taking our waiter Tony's advice we got the Tenderoni pizza and boom another standout dish arrived. The sauce was somewhat sweeter then your regular pizza sauce but I don't think thats a bad thing it made it unique. The honey-chili oil may have contributed to the sweetness but damn was it good. The dough for the pizza was nice and fluffy with a great char from the wood fired oven (also I gotta say seeing the oven in action was like looking at the universe being created in the heavens) The spicy sopressata was great and had a bit of a crunch, again perfect. Big thanks to Tony on the solid pizza advice, we were torn between two different pies and I was happy as hell with the tenderoni and can't wait to try all the rest! At this point in the meal I had already loosened my belt a notch and my girlfriend was somewhat worried if she could even finish or start desert but our waitress smiling and dancing asked first if we had allergies the assured us that we didn't need to even order dessert cause they were about to just take us to dessert town. Oh what a town it was! The bread pudding arrived...I repeat again the bread pudding arrived...when I think of bread pudding its mushy and weird not here, oh lord not here. When that bread pudding arrived on the table I had no idea that the heavens had parted and the dessert gods had sent me down their specialty! Up there in the heavens you must wake up every day, sit down and have an espresso or cappucino (maybe an irish coffee like I was) and munch into this godly creation. I mean holy hell, just thinking about it now is making me want one. When you come to Fortina, get the bread pudding I swear just get it, sit back, and let the dessert Gods take your palate too the heavens. After the bread pudding came a nutella pizza, by now I was two belt notches and my upper pant button deep in this meal and was wondering if the amazing wait staff could find a wheel barrel to get me out of the restaurant but hey, never say no to one more dessert! Nice airy crust with that sweet nutella flavor was great, not bread pudding great as I don't think any dessert will ever be or ever has been! but none the less great! For drinks we primarily had the Petrus Aged Pale Ale, it was the perfect compliment to all the dishes of the meal and I'd highly reccommend it. The beer selection was nice, its primarily bottles with the only draft being Captain Lawrence Kolsch (my personal favorite by them) but as a craft beer lover I wish the had some more taps, still you see great breweries like Sixpoint,Half Full etc. The wine list is expansive and nicely laid out, additionally all the servers can give you advice on them. My final thought/advice or whatever you might call it is the noise level, if you get their earlier it will be more relaxed with slower music and as the party gets rolling it does get louder/ have more dancy music. So if you want a quiter meal I would say try to get in a little bit earlier and stay and have some drinks as the party gets started! All in all absolute magic! Downright delicious. Had a double date with new friends and it was the perfect environment for yummy food, good conversation, and ample people and TV watching. The servers are super animated and very engaged. I felt really properly informed on each item on the menu. My husband and I split the roasted vegetable platter -- no regrets. It was so good. SO good. There was this one somewhat smokey romesco-style dip that was out of this world. The brussels sprouts were probably my favorite. I indulged a bit for my main course and had the homemade spaghetti -- in fact, all of their pastas are homemade -- and it was incredible. I really shouldn't have had the whole thing, but I did. And again, no regrets. With a glass of wine, the bill certainly wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it for each and every tasty bite. Will definitely be back. read more

Another amazing dinner at Fortina. Dragged my BF from Orange County down to Armonk for dinner. He said it better be as good as I said and, of course, it was. Didn't want to stray too far from the norm so we had the fried meatballs and buratta - amazing as always. Got a little more adventurous with our pizza. Had my usual Luigi Bianco (perfection on a plate and really cannot be beat) and tried one I hadn't had before - Spicy Bobby Lupo - and while I felt guilty about it, it may be my new fave (don't tell Luigi Bianco who, apparently, is an actual person)! They "disclaimed" any responsibility for a missed delivery because they use a third party delivery service that connects to their website (so you don't know they are using a third party). 5 stars for the food, 1 star for service. If the food wasn't as amazing as it was, I would have given this establishment a way lower rating due to the awful service my party and I experienced. We tried everything from the fried meatballs to the pasta to the truffle pizza and it was all unbelievable. The real star was the truffle pizza and the pizza that was topped with chili - honey. The service was trash. They brought out our meatballs before our salads and didn't cut a single pizza (even though they claimed that all the pizzas were cut). Place is really nicely decorated they have inside and outside seating and doing great comply with regulations regarding COVID. Sadly the food was overpriced and not good at all. My boyfriend got a lasagna that looked like it came out of a box, it was not even hot when served presentation was horrible, and small portion. I got the LB pizza which was 20 something dollars. You would think it would've been bigger for that prize, it was not. It was ok not bad but got cold quickly and became really chewy. My sister is always taking me to new places when I visit New York and this one was tucked away in a little shopping plaza. There wasn't a wait, we got there around 7pm in the evening on a weekday. They had a highchair for my nephew and we had super service. The suggestions for appetizers for made for us and then we tried their pizza. If you ever wanted a chance to try bone marrow this would be the place to do it. I have had marrow before so I was able to compare it and this one was super flavorful and melted onto the toasted bread they gave so you could spread it on. The pizza as perfectly crisp and not burned on the bottom and of course the tartufo there was delish. I can never find tartufo out in Los Angeles so anytime there the opportunity in NY I am all about it. read more

You can go on a date here, do happy hour, have a family meal with children or just a great time with friends. The food: always fresh & there's a great selection. There's something for everyone. They also have well made drinks. Hospitality: amazing amazing waiters, waitresses, hosts! Everyone has a smile on their face and is extremely friendly and polite Cleanliness: for those of you that may be germ-a- phobes like myself, everything is clean or atleast appears to be.
