    Manti pasta, so yum
    Lisa M.

We had a great time with two other couples here! Mosaic has fun and inventive cocktails, and one friend who loves cocktails raved about them. We had three appetizers: the baked feta, the burrata with beets, and the short rib hummus. The latter two were especially good! My husband got the lamb kebab and it was soooo tasty. I got the manti-style pasta, and while it was not what I expected, I loved it! Scrumtious handmade thick noodles and tender beef, and the leftovers might've been even better. Another couple split the lamb shank and let me try it, and it was fantastic--tender and flavorful. I've also been for coffee with a friend during the day and there's a chill vibe for working or hanging out. The staff was super friendly, too. For sure we'll be back!

Came here for my brothers birthday and it was such a great experience. Between location, decor & ambiance, food and service..its one of my new fave spots. Adana kebab tasted very authentic and flavorful, lamb shanks was tender and well seasoned, the pita was so soft and pillows, and the falafel bowl really gave that fresh, acidic, crunchy contrast to all the savory meats. I will definitely come back here to try out brunch.

Went to Mosaic for happy hour. Wow this is our new favorite happy hour place. Great drinks and handshakes with beer and shots. The hummus and beef kabobs were both fantastic. Couldn't have nicer bartenders. Nick and Josh are very gracious hosts. Great to have a 3rd street bar restaurant that's is fun to be at. Recommended!

We came for their New Year's Eve event and it was absolutely amazing! We snagged reservations about 2 weeks out and they ended up fully booked. The place is pretty small and it seemed that it was best suited for groups of 2 or 4 people. It was a set menu starting with each course representing a different country. It stated with a bite sized chicken shooter which was the perfect was to prep our taste buds for what was to come. The first course was from Greece and consisted of some dips and pita bread. Then came Morocco with charred octopus (my personal favorite of the night). The third course was from Turkey which consisted of lamb dumplings. The fourth course from Dubai was a Wagu kabob (so tender!). And we finished with a chocolate raspberry cake from France which was an explosion of flavor. The staff did an excellent job pacing the meal to make it an experience and were on top of dirty dishes and water refills. Can't wait to be back to try some items from their regular menu!

We came here for drinks and dessert. Nick, the manager, was such a delight. The restaurant serves Mediterranean food. We chose both the tiramisu and baklava custard pie. Never tasted this type of pie! I would take a whole pie if I could. The restaurant is beautiful and decorated with art pieces from a friend. When you go to the restroom, there is an amazing picture of three martians. It depicts Nick and his two partners. It was a pleasure to meet him and the next time I return, I will be sure to dine and try one of the many dishes.

A wonderful breakfast experience! The best avocado toast and speciality latte that I've had in the Chicago suburbs. Highly recommend!!

Tried this place recently. The place is nice, modern, inviting with low lighting, and clean. I tried the beef skewers/kebob - doesn't come with actual skewers but actually it was pretty good - the meat was tender and tasty, well seasoned. The pita was interesting, a little bit thicker than I am used to, and fresh. the rice was fine. I believe it also came with a little side salad which I don't really eat. Pricing was ok, $23. Some of the pricing was ok, others seemed a little high. I felt the food options were a little limited also -seems like they had quite a few drinks which I didn't try (went with water) but the food choices were not that much. I felt the service was also rather slow - I went for lunch and there were only a few people/tables. The waitress was pleasant but seemed to take a while to get my order and even longer for anyone to come back when I was trying to pay and leave. I literally had to ask the bar tender gentleman who was nice enough to ring me up. Not sure why the service wouldn't have been more prompt when there were so few customers? Free parking in the front. I would potentially come back to try other stuff but hope the service is a little bit more speedy.

Mosaic brings both creative delicious cocktails and delicious Mediterranean inspired food to downtown Geneva. To start, my dining partner (mother) and I tried two cocktails, both of which were great and made excellent use of the ingredients described (who knew blueberry goat cheese rum would be so good). For a starter, we split the short rib hummus, very good! The main course was the house special lamb pasta and lamb kabobs. The pasta was clearly made fresh and was tender with a ton of flavor present in the lamb braise. Along with those, we enjoyed some crispy roast carrots, so good! At the end of it all, we spoke with one of the owners (Nick). Very nice guy, who definitely has some serious mixology knowledge. Would highly recommend here to anyone seeking a cozy spot for creative drinks done well and delicious food.

This place is incredible... the food is to die for. It's the first place I've been to and did not feel like bloated or so full to where I was sick because the portions were perfect. Nothing here fell short, in fact it's the first place in the burbs where the food wasn't overly salted or fried in some type of oil. Everything tasted fresh. The flavors were busting up in my mouth every bite I took, even down to snowball fight drink we had. I highly, highly recommend the bread cheese appetizer- this was something super unique to me as I've only had grilled up cheese one other time in Brazil, Queijo Coalho.... There was a beautiful twist on this cheese- crunchy, creamy, sweet, savory and the honey and tabbouleh were such a great finish to this dish. Pair this with the fresh bread and it was chefs kiss! We had the beer braised short rib and seabass- two completely different flavored entres that we absolutely perfect. The short rib you literally can't go wrong with- melted in my mouth with every bite - and hats off the the chef who cooked the onions so perfect to actually be able to taste them instead of just carmelizing or salting them! I would call this your typical Midwest comfort dish. The seabass was much different the salad was tangy with the lentils being rich- add a nice cooked crispy top seabass and you got yourself a unique dish of flavors that will have you thinking what's in it after hours! But the star of the show was dessert of course - OMFG - s'mores ice cream sunday ....... I died and went to heaven literally. I have never tasted ice cream that mimicked everything I've ever wanted my ice cream to taste like. It was the perfect temperature (trust me a lot of restaurants it's either rock hard or melted) this was epic. Creamy, almost pudding like and being able to taste every note was wild to me. The graham cracker - yes the freaking graham cracker was the best one I've ever tasted in my life. Clearly I've never had a graham cracker without preservatives before. The chocolate syrup .... Jeeze let me tell if I could swim in it I would.... The service was friendly, prompt and right on time. The server knew all the cues and timing of all the food to come out. She checked in everytime we got something to make sure everything was just right... you can tell she takes her job seriously but also knows how to interact with people - something a lot of servers lack these days so we really appreciated the service. As for the atmosphere- this place blows a lot of the chi city restaurants out of the water. The organic feel but fancy! Oh, and I can actually talk and hear myself think without blasting music over my head. We will be back ... but honestly please change nothing here- everything you're doing here is fantastic!

We initially tried to dine at Tia Carmen's downstairs, but the wait was too long--so we headed upstairs to Revolución instead. We were among the first guests. The service was friendly, though not particularly attentive. Our server didn't check in often, and we had to wait quite a while for water--thankfully, the busser eventually stepped in and kept our glasses full. The food was tasty overall. We weren't fans of the chips served with the guacamole; they were more like plain tortillas--dry and lacking salt. That said, the rest of the meal was enjoyable. My suggestion to management: even when it's slow, make sure tables have water and guests are checked on regularly. A little extra attentiveness would go a long way in improving the experience.

The Birria egg rolls were a bit on the smaller side but made a big impression with its preparation. I've never had birria wrapped in anything as crispy as the wonton wrapper this was wrapped in. The birria was flavorful while being tender and not being too salty. The white cheddar and chihuahua cheese added a small amount of extra saltiness and a bit more fat, which matched well with the chipotle aiola. The duck poutine was incredibly flavorful, while sitting on the edge of potentially being too bold. The fries were incredibly crispy though there was quite a bit of gravy on the dish and the white cheddar cheese curds did a great job of keeping the entire dish hot throughout the meal, while adding a little bit of extra flavor. The bacon and onion added some umami though it almost made the dish a bit too salty and the duck confit added a nice protein element. Overall a little pricey, but given the more unique menu and quality of both the flavors and textures, it's worth the premium. The food here is definitely memorable and in line with excellent options available in Geneva.

Our level of anticipation evaporated almost immediately when we were assaulted by the sound. The singer on stage accompanied by a bass so loud that my bones vibrated. Was the singer good? Couldn't tell because his voice was overpowered by the music. And even though the night was advertised as a Sinatra night....Elvis entertained as much as ole blue eyes. Our group of six were jammed into a booth meant for 4 people against a wall directly in line with the speaker. That means the sound hit us, then the wall, hitting us again as sound travels. We asked if it was possible to lower the volume. No one could talk or communicate during the performance. It was temporarily lowered and then the singer signaled the sound man to up the volume again. How was the food you ask? Three of us had the fish and it was excellent. The Chacuterie tray was well appointed but the salads that followed were bland and the seasonal vegetables consisted of mostly bell peppers with a carrot thrown in. Again..perhaps we would have enjoyed our meal more without the vibrations and incredibly loud music. I downloaded a decibel meter. It said that music in a restaurant should range between 50-65 decibels; my meter averaged 90+ during the show. We spoke with a kind and understandable waiter but not the manager. Management should know from us; this was a one and done. I'm still trying to figure out why other patrons were applauding loudly when you really didn't hear the music. I'd like to say you should try it for the experience but DON'T waste your money to be attacked by sound for 2 hours.
