DO NOT EAT HERE! We ordered for pick up and when we got home, there was what looked like half of a body of a roach or beetle in the Chinese and broccoli dish. We couldn't figure what kind of big it was but we saw part of the body with the legs and wings. This is place is disgusting. We literally threw out the food and will never eat at this place. I wish I could have given more stars but most of our proteins that we ordered for this meal tasted so off. The shrimp in my daughter's shrimp fried rice tasted fishy and I didn't let her eat it. Fortune is my new to-go Chinese food spot in Nassau County! During my first visit my usual: Beef and Broccoli and Chicken Wings which were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. Because I had such a good experience ordering takeout (they are also Covid friendly as the place put up a glass window to minimize contact), I ordered delivery and it was delivered quick with the food still piping hot. I have been going here since I have been living in floral park and tonught night I ordered a large meal and there was 6 pieces of beef, the woman in the phone convinced my boyfriend not to get extra meat so we got veggies that was most the meal, I went there and showed them the container that was 85 percent vegetables and they told me I ate all the meat, yes there was 6 pieces of beef so by the time I gotten to the bottom of the beef u realized there was nothing but vegetables underneath so yea no meat mixed in, they tried to make it seem like I was conning them but how was I suppose to know there was no meat mixed in 10 percent my meal. don't go there. read more

WATCH OUT! They OVER CHARGE on every item on the menu. I added my bill to be payable with $26 (with the tax) and they asked for $28.90 When I got home I compared the receipt to the menu they attached it to and all the prices were being overcharged. Can't say enough good stuff about this take out spot! My husband orders from Fortune all the time always enjoying his meal! Food always hot. Customer service is great as well. Service unfulfilled. The person answering the phone was very discourteous, after failing to provide a service. I explained the issue and was surprised by the rude replies. I ate here a few times twice I saw roaches running around on the tables and windows I told the girl at the front counter she just looked at me and didn't say anything so I walked out and never went back there again. I made an order for Shanghai shrimp. Received shrimp but a completely different style from what I ordered. Whoever picked up the phone was extremely rude. Yelled at me. Told me that is how they make it and I must have ordered based of a different restaurants description. Which is so stupid considering it was an online order with the description right underneath it. I ordered takeout for the first time from Fortune and was very pleasantly surprised by not only the service, but also the quality of food for such a cheap price! The food was fresh and warm, and despite having ordered the same Sesame chicken, egg roll, and fried rice for years, the food was exceptional this time around, with far more vivid flavors and a richness that I have not found in any other cheap takeout place. I have been a customer for three years and now they lost a customer. I ordered my food, which was from a written list and was read to the person taking my order. I ordered shrimp with cashew nuts and got chicken. I called after looking at my order when I got home. The women on the phone insisted (from what I could understand) that I ordered chicken. They would not give me my correct order and I am done with this place. Go elsewhere, poor customer service, and from what I ate terrible food. read more
