I went in today got manicure. The people did a very nice job. The woman who answered the phone asked if I had a box. When you go in there are a lot of boxes for their client. There seems to be some sort of members club but no signs indicating the price what the rules and rewards for joining. English was very limited and I was only visiting the area if I was resident I would look into joining. I would go again if I visit in the future. read more

HORRIBLE. Not only did I call to make an appointment with a specific person and was told yes they are there, only to show up and that person not be there.... the OWNER did my nails and did a HORRENDOUS job. She cut me with the drill where I started bleeding and all she said was "OOPS" and put some random blue oil on it which burned and now I have an infection. Would not recommend going here unless you have a person there whom you like. Will be going to another location. I didn't wait 3 months during the quarantine to get an infection. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Worst customer service! The owner could not be less professional! I won three $5 gift cards to this place at a fundraiser I attended for a non-profit. I finished my manicure and the owner then told me that he would not honor all 3 cards and that I could only use 1, and would have to give the other 2 away! How cheap can you be? Yikes!!! This place is the worst. I treated my sister to a manicure. The utensils were definitely not clean, the staff was not friendly. My manicure was incredibly rushed, and the gentleman that did my nails did them very sloppy and even messed them up. They put on so much top coat that every nail had bubbles on it. Will never be returning, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. We could have painted our nails better at home! Oh, and the manicures don't even last 24 hours. read more

I have been going here for 10 plus years i have always been extremely happy. Workers are very attentive as soon as you walk in the door "hello" they take care of you. My manicures pedicures have always been fantastic never have had any issues I have never waited very long and they're always busy. I bring my daughter and my granddaughters who love going there. Plus their prices are exceptional. A note. My mother has gone to the pricey places has always had issues with her nails or manicures and has gotten infections from other places never have ever had one from Fortune nails. read more

The service in this salon went from a 3-4 star to a minus one and I was a customer when they first opened. I was there five days ago for a powdered gel manicure which chipped within three days (SERIOUSLY?) what a waste of my hard earned $35!!!! Went back to have my 2 chipped nails redone (since I JUST did them) walked out with the bumpiest gel job known to woman ever ! I AM so upset & disgusted. The worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. The man taking off my gel nails completely filed my nails paper thin, even after removing the gel with acetone! He then proceeded to cut me while trimming my cuticles. After bleeding for 5 minutes, he finally decided to put some blue gel to stop the bleeding. Additionally, he painted nail polish over the blood remaining on that nail. The end result was horrible and I had nail polish all over my skin. Worst manicure, will not return. read more

Love this place! They do a great job and it's pretty reasonably priced. $20 for a gel manicure $13 for a pedicure. They often have special prices for different seasons. The downfall is how crowded it usually is on the weekends. I've been there numerous times where they sit you down and two to three different manicurists will work on your hands during one session. They'll get up and start working on you and another customer then leave you for said customer and another person will finish your nails. There's probably a method to their madness, but it's too time consuming. I went today (a rainy Saturday at 3pm) and was in and out in less than an hour for a gel manicure. It wasn't busy today, probably due to the weather. However, I've gone other Saturday's and Sunday's and a gel manicure took over an hour and a half. I've been there during the week (early morning always works best) and a gel manicure took about 40 minutes. read more

Do Not go here!! They ruined my nails! And did a careless job. I had a gift certificate and went here twice. The first time was decent. I got s regular pedicure and gel manicure. The gel manicure only lasted about a week before it started chipping. They wanted to charge extra for so much and they didn't do some things most other manicure places do. The second time I came, I asked how much the powder gel was. They pointed to a number on the price chart and then charged me more. The lady did such a poor job. Not only did she file my nails crooked, there was crust all over my nails. So messy!!! I asked for a similar color for my pedicure and they gave me a color that was totally off. Then if you spent a certain amount you were supposed to get a free pedicure gift card which I never received. To make matters worse, when the bad gel manicure started to come over less than a week later, they wouldn't refund me the money. They took it off and said to come back another time to get it redone!! They ruined my nails because they all started to crack and break from being so brittle from their poor job!!! I don't want to waste money but I refuse to have them butcher my nails more! While I was sitting there getting the gel off another woman came in and complained their polish chipped too so obviously they're doing something wrong! read more

I got a decent gel manicure that lasted awhile from here a few weeks ago so I figured why not go back? I wish I could say the second was just as good but I've never been more disappointed in a manicure. It looked OK as it was drying but in better lighting (as I got into my car) my nails were a complete disaster. I was completely rushed through the drying process. I could understand if I smudged them on my own with regular polish, but this is gel - it's on the nail techs to make sure your nails have dried long enough. I've gotten gel plenty of times before and it was done within minutes today, whereas a good nail salon finishes in about 20-25 minutes. There are smudge marks, creases on my nail from where the nail tech's brush was too saturated with polish, some of my nails are filed to a different size, and one of them was even broken during. What a disappointment. The staff was decently nice, but I don't think I've ever been to a nail salon where they allow their customers to leave with a horrible manicure. I'm not one to really complain about nail salon experiences - I understand they work long hours each day, they're understaffed, and they are based upon walk-in appointments, so every day is unpredictable - but this was just downright bad. My pedicure was fine, but I don't think I'll be returning here. read more

Despite the bad reviews i'm from out of town and I really needed a manicure and a pedicure or for a wedding. Although the pedicure was relaxing the foot soaking tub had build up mold in it. it was pretty gross. the nail tech did a terrible job on my hands she cut me twice once really badly and deep. I have been going for years. I go to this one and their other store down the road maybe 1 mile in West Islip. I got a bad toe fungus from them and when I told them they had stuff that I could buy for I think 14.00 kinda crazy that I have to pay for something I got from them. But the worst thing was that my acrylic over my nail would lift up a lot. The girl there used a Metro card to peel my acrylic off my nail. When she did that she peeled half my nail off. I yelped a bit due to the pain. When they put the acrylic back on it burned really bad. I was still charged full price. I will never go back. read more
