I ordered online for the first time with fortune and received the wrong wig. After several emails/days I finally got a response saying the wig I had purchased was not able to be found and offering a different piece or refund of the difference in price between the wig I purchased and the one I had received. I said the refund was fine, and have not heard anything else since. It's been a week and there has been no update and no refund. My wife and I had an amazing experience here! We called for an appointment to get a wig adjusted. The girl said we didn't need one. When she came into the store, Shayna R. was super quick to help my wife, despite not having an appointment and the store being a bit busy. My wife tried on the "i-band," and adjusted it to two different wigs and blew it out. She also styled her wig so she could figure out how it would look. Shayna also cut off the lace part of the band (which usually comes off AFTER you buy it). She then curled, FOR FREE, mind you, the rest of the wig. I don't think anyone does this anywhere. My wife was so amazed with SR and Fortune Wig's customer service! Many places sell wigs, but good luck matching THIS level of service! At no time did we feel pressured to buy. I highly recommend that a kallah (bride) check this place out! We've been to many wig shops, and you won't feel that pressure here. And why should you feel that way when making such an expensive, life changing ;), and important decision? These wigs have been such a disappointment to me for numerous reasons. The main concern is how they look and style. The hairlines on these wigs look so unrealistic and it's very difficult to even fashion a part to make it look believable. To "remedy" that they suggest you spend more money to get an iband but all it does it add bulk to the wig and doesn't "fall" In the way the pictures show so adds nothing toward a solution. Why not make the part look more natural to begin with. The hair falls excessively toward the front that you will have half your face covered with hair. The iband is also supposed to help that but does not nor does it stay put. Just make the wigs right the first time so you don't need additional products (that don't work as advertise) Another issue I have with the wigs is that they are so old fashioned and the styles and colors are pretty drab. My hairdresser has had a time trying to make any of those wigs look flattering. I think it's misleading and bad business to only show what the wig looks like after you spend almost $200 to have one of the fortune stylists cut it so you have no idea what you're getting unless you automatically add $200 to their advertised price. They only show you a picture of the hair cut and styled. You won't get that unless you add the cost and it's more than likely the color and style you order look nothing like the photos. The website is old and clunky and even after alerting them of issues it took a year to address them. They even have a "photo coming soon" for one of their ombré styles that has been like that for more than a year even though I asked what it looked like. I can't even imagine how many sales they lose. Their return policy is misleading and unclear saying you can return the wig for up to a year with the CEO even guaranteeing the wig. What they don't tell you is that even if THEY cut it like they have in the picture that they consider that custom so it is unreturnable. This should be made absolutely clear. I seriously wouldn't buy online from them unless you are willing to pay additional money to have your stylist try to make it wearable. I received a wig that looked nothing like the picture and they became impatient with me when I showed them their advertised picture with what I received. I sent it back to add highlights and it still looked the same. I just gave up though I should have pursued the issue with PayPal for it not being described. Their failure to keep up with more modern trends, website maintenance, technology and more polished, wearable hairlines will continue to drive customers away. I would recommended Milano wigs for a better human hair wig experience for the modern woman. read more

Unfortunately I bought a hair topper from this company online. Cost was around $238, and included a discount. When receiving the topper it was very clear that they had falsely advertised this piece stating as follows on their website, "This unit is designed to integrate with your existing hair. It is ideal for someone with some balding or thinning on the top or crown area. The unit can be clipped in place. If the crown area is experiencing complete baldness, the clips can be removed and the unit can be taped to the scalp." The piece I recieved was NOT wavy like I paid extra for, it was straight. Also there was very little human hair on this piece, also there was NOT at all the coverage on the crown that they claim. When contacting the company about this to receive a refund it was difficult to get Ellie to admit the false advertising. She emailed me back as follows in her words.... "I'm sorry to hear the topper is not working out for you. The piece you have ordered is generally designed for people who want to add volume or height to their existing (thinning) hair. Should you need a piece that offers more hair and coverage, I have that. Just feel free to let me know. I look forward to assisting you." That's not what they advertised! Nor do I want a different piece considering every other piece is MORE money! Also I feel I was lied to, deceived by them falsely advertising the topper. Don't waste your money! Not sure on their other pieces but this one was awful. The monofilament is fully exposed in the front due to lack of hair. Just really sad. I'm a single mom that raises her son on her own in Cali. I cannot afford to pay the shipping twice on something I can't even use. So I kept the piece, and use it on top of my other topper with a headband covering the exposed monofilament. I've had the piece only for about 3 weeks and the hair has already started shedding. My $92.00 hair topper I bought online 6 months ago was a better deal, and is a human hair blend. It sheds and is why I went with a more expensive piece. The monofilament on this expensive topper is the only difference. It does give a more natural look. Save your money, and find a cheaper, better topper. I'm shopping else where as soon as I can. Just hoping no one else goes through this either. read more

Beware: My wife called this store multiple times to make sure they had the kind of wig she wanted and she was assured that they had what she was looking for. However, after traveling almost two hours to get to their store, she was told that they do not have what she had spoken with them about and they tried to sell her something different.
