People are constantly doing it to me now. This past July I got my first in a set of two framed thigh pieces from Rosco. I've had this design in mind for over four years, drew up an original myself and had major anxiety ahead of time because I'm a crazy perfectionist. Rosco took what I had drawn and made it even better. He gave me terrific advice on colors and shading techniques to make the piece really pop. He couldn't have been more patient while I psychotically asked him to reposition the stencil four times. The end result is just whoa. It healed perfectly, the intricate frame looks incredibly beautiful, the anchor and banner are vibrant. Overall it's exactly what I wanted. Any time my tattoo is showing, the compliments are nonstop. The staff here have personalities to match the terrific work they do. The owner, Roger, is kind of like a pit bull - a little intimidating looking but actually a sweetheart. No doubt, they're the best in the area and the best priced too. I can't wait to come back and complete the pair!

We worked with @chris666trash and he didn't disappoint. We met earlier in the week to let him know what we wanted, size, and location. A couple days later, we met again to see the design mockups he created and to see if we wanted to add or change anything. The day of the tattooing, Chris was great. He talked us through each step of the process, checked in to see if we needed to stretch/move (each of our tattoos took at least an hour) during the tattooing, and told us what to expect and general after care. If you're looking to get your first or your 30th tattoo, come to Black Pearl. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was also there to get my helix down sized and Devin helped me out. Unfortunately, I'm an "in-between" size and he wasn't able to change it out right then and there. However, Devin did tell me what size I needed and where I could purchase it. Chris was my brothers dream artist in general and so getting him to do the walk in was a dream come true. Everything is super clean, affordable but fair, and wicked high quality. I took a day off of work to do this so I am not happy right now. The work they had previously done for me turned out great, I just would've appreciated more of a heads up of my appointment changing, instead of using a vacation day for nothing.
