I had been contemplating a nose piercing for a bit, so I asked my husband to find a shop, half expecting him to push back - he did not. A quick Yelp search led me here. I was lucky enough to be able to get in with no wait. The shop was very clean and inviting. Doc was awesome. He very easily quelled my nerves with lighthearted conversation and joking, but was professional and obviously very knowledgeable. He talked me through each step of the process, including a very thorough explanation of aftercare, which the Type A in me appreciated. The piercing was quick and relatively painless, start to finish the whole process took about 10 min. I would definitely recommend it!

Joseph was arrogant, dismissive and annoyed within seconds of our introduction. I asked for a simple tattoo and tried to draw a picture of what I wanted, but he grabbed the pen out of my hand, said "give me a second I will do it" and walked away annoyed for the first time. I agreed to his next plan, he was fine while he did my small piece, but as soon as I said I wanted the halo bolder to be the statement of the piece... he started with all the excuses as to why not change it. After him getting annoyed with me inquiring about it all, I asked if he would bolden the halo if I didn't end up liking how it came out after healing. He told me to just ask whoever did my next tattoo to "hit it again, it's not a big deal." He finally heard my concern after I talked to my friend about it- so he did end up going over the halo again for me. After this very short interaction, I was asking about maintenance and again.... Annoyed angry man reared his head. He kept saying, it's small, it's not a big deal. I asked about aquaphor and he again said I'm overthinking it. I explained that with my previous 5 tattoos I had issues with cracking/healing etc. Again I could tell he was dismissing me so I reminded him that just because this was small and meaningless to him.... It was very important for me and my Mom who I lost too soon. I was charged $120 for a quarter sized tattoo which was done within 5-10 min. I was ok with paying that because it was a very special addition that I wanted don't on a very special day while I was on vacation. The way he refused to listen from the moment we met to the moment I gave them the $120 for my 15ish minutes in the studio... disgusting. I would highly recommend not using him as an "artist" because he acted more like an angry, hungover, teenage boy who was getting paid too much for his half a** work. On the flip side- the studio was very centrally located in Ptown and they accepted walk ins so that's a plus. I just wouldn't recommend accepting Joseph as an offered person to get inked by, but I'm sure there are other artists there who are wonderful.

First - the space is so comfy. The waiting room is cozy and the room where you actually get the tattoo done had everything you could need, homey touches but still extremely clean. There was soft TV playing in the background that you can easily ignore OR pay attention. Second - the art was just amazing.
