There are a lot of fitness professionals/personal trainers out there, many are good, some are even…read moregreat, but there are none like Jason. True to his words, Jason offers customized fitness training that will get you to where you want to go. Whether it's to lose weight, be more fit, or become a competitive athlete. Jason's workouts are customized and tailored. He is an attentive and thorough trainer. I worked with Jason for over two years, and I never had one session in which I felt he was on "auto pilot". He was as attentive to my form and performance on my last workout with him as he was on my first. I started training with Jason, because I wanted to lose weight (as many do when they sign up with a trainer). In our initial consultations and workouts Jason asked and listen carefully to what I wanted and how I worked. He devised a workout program for me that focused on helping me get stronger and more fit. In short, Jason taught a grown adult (who had never exercised) how to exercise and incorporate it into part of everyday life. Jason gave me the tools I needed to appreciate fitness and enjoy it as part of a healthy and active lifestyle. Oh, and yes, I lost a bunch of weight in the process, but the weight loss pales in comparison to what I gained. If you are looking for a personal trainer, you need to look no further than Jason H. He is the best out there, and you will not find a better personal/trainer out there to help you reach your fitness goals.

Let's start with the bad. Planet Fitness will call out gym bros who grunt, drop weights, bring…read moregallon jugs of water. I don't have a problem with that. Here's where I have the problem: Cell phone dwellers. Last night I worked on a machine in the middle of four different people sitting on machines cruising their cell phones, taking literally minutes between sets. Tonight, I wanted to work on one, last chest exercise, but that machine was taken by a man with headphones, so occupied with his cell phone he didn't even notice my presence. I decided to return 45 minutes after cardio, and that same machine was taken by a husband-wife team who decided that instead of taking turns, it was social hour and chatting time. I wasn't really paying attention to the guy, but one man was in the 30 minute workout room, sitting on his phone. He was there when I went to the drinking fountain, when I started the treadmill - and 8 minutes later. Never actually saw him do a set. The positive: the place is very clean, there are a ton of cardio machines, the hours are great, and they generally have two of every machine. I'd rather have "lunks" than people more interested in cell phones than actually exercising.
