I went to Foshee Jewelers on March 30 this year to have my watch repaired. While I was there, I saw a nice Seiko watch and purchased it for my birthday. On July 1st, I had to re-set the date and I pulled the stem out. They did give me a claim ticket. And that was it. I have called there and they told me they were waiting for parts. They did not call me. I called again a week later, I called them again, and this time they had told me that it went back to Seiko for repairs. They have not called me. I stopped in there today, and Beth told me that the watch was still not back as of 8/3/2026. She did say that they will call me when it does arrive. I went in the shop to see if they would buy my grandfather clock and they said that they would have to see it first. They even offered to come out to the house. 10 o'clock was the appointment. I was there exactly at 10 o'clock. I stayed until 10:20 and I called the shop and they said they were on their way. I was in the yard raking leaves for about an hour nobody showed up. I called at 12 o'clock and they said they've already been out there. I guess they came early and I wasted 2 hours waiting on nobody to show up. That was my experience. read more

I've been going here for years and after today, i will not be going back. The past few times I've ignored the fact that they've been lazy and not calling when my jewelry is ready. Everytime i call, it's been ready without them informing me. I understand being busy but the customer service has gotten terrible. Whoever is working today made it seem like i was bothering her. What a nightmare. I will NEVER return to this place. Despite with their owners daughter's claims, they do horrible work! This ring was brought to them to resize in early August - nothing else, just a resize. The jeweler broke my ring and lost the baguettes on the side of the ring. Their jeweler Pam never bothered to call me to relay the fact the ring was broken! When I called and stopped, I was given multiple excuses as to what happened and what was taking place to correct it. First excuse - we ordered the diamonds to replace and are just waiting for them to arrive next week.We will have it to you next week. Second excuse - the diamonds arrived but we are still missing one, so it's my fault but we will have it done need xt week. Third excuse - I haven't had time to work on it, it should be next week. Fourth excuse - I can't get to it as we are short staffed. It'll be next week. Fifth excuse - the baguettes are hard to place, I may need to send it someplace else. Finally, today, over 2 months since dropping the ring off, I was told "My uncle said the diamonds just came in and it'll be ready next week." I blew up, picked up my ring from this horror. They may be in business for over 70 years as the snarky owner's daughter claimed, but not at because of her customer service. She commented the poor work on resizing was not the finished product - and you can clearly see how horrible a job they did. The worst part was the attitude that we were inconveniencing them by wanting this ring repaired and returned. The diamonds - and I have to hope they gave me real diamonds - will now need to be taken to a reputable jeweler to reset. This is the worst customer service ever. The topper was the daughter said that she refuses to pay for the work to correct the ring. She never offered to quickly fix it, only state I was badmouthing when speaking the truth on the situation. So see you in court - you broke it and refuse to fix it, you can pay for a legitimate jeweler to fix the shoddy work. Do not trust this business to fix anything, and do not entrust them with your jewelry. After 2 months waiting to get my birthday gift returned to me, I have a broken piece of jewelry from them. MORE BAD WORK! Foshee was also to tighten the diamonds on my wedding ring and charged over $200 for it. We were told it was done, and picked up the ring a few weeks ago. After the debacle with my ring mentioned above and the shoddy subpar work Foshee did, we went to Kay Jewelers and had my wedding ring inspected - the diamonds were not tightened what so ever and it'll be about $400 to correct what the inept Foshee jewelers did to it. So moral of this story - never give this place your business. We are so disappointed in not only the bad work but the lack of customer service. As the lady at Kay's put it, just because you're in business a long time doesn't mean you have return customers, it just means you've kept your doors open. read more

Extremely Disappointed Took a Navajo Indian piece of artwork necklace to Foshee's. There was a piece of wire sticking me in my neck every time I wore it. They said it would need to be restring. I left it with them, no rush. When I picked it up and began to look at it. There were pieces not matching symmetrically as it was when I brought it to them. It appeared a young child had strung it. Mr. Foshee said, no one would notice? Calling me NO ONE because I noticed. He had no intention to make it right. I was willing to pay more to have it done correctly. I guess they've lost my business. Just thought I'd share before anyone else had their jewelry messed up. They also put the sterling silver beads in a chemical that made them look worse and destroyed the 24 kt gold in the designs...so sad!!! I'm hoping Munchel's can fix their mess up!!! read more

I've had 3 negative experiences within the last year. The last being this past week. They did a complete wreck job on my necklace which is delicate so I felt maybe it wasn't completely there fault then I brought a bracelet and same result. They were so rude about it! However, I did have an uncomfortable encounter with gemologist Larry who, in the span of a 5-10 minute jewelery sale worked several of his controversial social/political opinions in somehow. I lost the back of my Citizen Ecodrive watch and went in to Foshee to see if they could help me. They don't deal with Citizen directly any longer because of a bad experience but they suggested I contact Citizen directly and order the part, once it was received they would install it for me. They provided contact information for me, I ordered and received the part I needed and Foshee installed it for me at NO CHARGE! Really! We were immediately warmly greeted by several members of the staff. We found everyone to be highly knowledgeable and honest. Harout Keshishian, the Gemologist was especially helpful. He spent a great deal of time educating us about the jewelry and he encouraged, actually insisted that we seek other opinions, which we did. Everything that he told us was 100% correct. Buying or selling jewelry is a big decision and finding a jeweler who is trustworthy is unfortunately uncommon these days. I took my wife's grandmother's clock into Foshee to be repaired on January 30, 2014. The clock-maker/repairman said that it would be ready in three months. It was the perfect birthday gift for my wife: her departed grandmother's clock working again. On May 1st, I called and they said that they were just getting to it and it would be done, "very soon." June 1st: same story. Finally, my wife called and the older man from the commercials answered and said, "Ma'am, I'm sure we said it'd be six months before we got to it." He was to fix our grandfather clock. He came over, took the clock apart, took all the pieces with him. We placed numerous calls and he kept saying he was still working it. TWO YEARS passed and he was still working on it. We went down to his shop and he could NOT find any of our clock pieces. His shop was a disgusting mess. His ONLY response was laughter, telling us "too bad, I don't have time to fix it". TWO YEARS and that was his reply. I took a cuckoo clock there for repair, they had the clock nearly 6 months and the clock is still not working properly. I was told to bring the clock back and there was no guarantee that it would be fixed and it could be 6 months before I get it back again. This is not good service and since the original owners are deceased the service at Foshee's is not only terrible but the attitude of the employees is very bad.
