Terrible customer service and a shady environment. I spent almost 2000$ for an audio system and when I speakers were having issues 5 months in, they kept giving me the run around before they would even try to fix my "under warranty" system. I dropped by one day after work to see what the issues was and they told me to make an appointment, which was fine, so I did. Came on my appointment date and they were looking like did you make an appointment? I was like yes, and they were then very reluctant to service me. They told me it was my amp at first, so I bought a new one and ask them to send my old one in for repairs, and that they would get it back to me when it came back from the manufacturer. When I left, the system was still having the same shorting problem, they told me that I had to "break the amp in, and it should take 24 hrs". The next day it was doing the same exact thing, so I was pretty mad at this point when I went back the next day. They spent 2 hrs assessing the problem, and come to find out it was a simple fuse. Finally it was fixed, and I was back in business, after paying $150+ for an amp that I never needed. Its been eight months and both speakers have now since blown a couple weeks ago. I called them and they told me to make an appointment and that they were extremely busy, which at that point I have still heard nothing about that amp that supposedly went dead (eight months passed, geez). I decided that I didn't want to do business with them anymore and just went to Car Toys, who were very professional might I add and bought another set of 12" subs. Joe, you were the person I originally dealt with, and you have great customer service at Foss, but who ever the guy is who took over since you transferred to another store is one of the shadiest people I have ever done business with. Bottom line is that I do no recommend doing business with this establishment, they basically stole a perfectly good working amp and never contacted me again about it. I have a hard time believing that they see people as anything other than cash and not human beings. I will be contacting the BBB about this, which is something that I have never once had to do. About six weeks ago, someone decided they needed my car stereo more than I and left a gaping hole in my dash. On an errand today, I passed by HiTech AutoSound in Kent. I was tired of looking at the empty cavern, so I decided to stop in on my way back by. I'm on a low budget and considered it an exploratory mission. Wow. Am I glad I found them! This is a well run, honorable shop. At my age, they are young boys to me, but -- man, do they know how to take care of customers. I told them I was in a hurry and on a budget. I had a dollar figure in mind and they quickly quoted about 25% below that number AND squeezed me in between a couple of other jobs. Oh, and I also had my huge, 10-year-old German Shepard in the car and they welcomed her like she was a paying customer. An added bonus was the owner stopping in while I was there. His 12-year-old son jumped out of the car and said, "Is that your dog???", and proceeded to pet her, play fetch, and completely charm us both while the job was completed. Worst company I have ever dealt with regarding tint. Took my car for tint and after the job was finished I had bubbles in all the windows. Was told they would go away in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks the bubbles were still present so a manager from the company scheduled to re due my tint himself....same result. After waiting another 2 weeks for the re done tint to cure and still having bubbles I asked for a refund which turned into back and forth argument with the company through email. I filed a BBB claim and after sending pictures of the tint I was able to get the merchant's bank to refund my payment. I would not recommend this company to anyone in the PNW regardless of which store you go to. My work was initially done at the Everett location but it was re done by a manger from the Tukwilla location . The old saying if it sounds to good to be true it is was right on this one....I should have know by the price that it would not turn out well but I figured it was a groupon deal so that's why the price was good. I first came across Foss Audio when my diy stereo/sub install got in over my head and I came to them wallet open to have them finish the install for me. Thankfully I spoke with JR who was able to point me in the right direction and gave me the info I needed to finish my project free of charge. When the time came to get my windows tinted, I hit up JR. Then (being the shopper I am) did a bunch of research, went and got all sorts of quotes from various shops in the area. But still none of the shops wanted to compete with the price I was given at Foss. Honestly I'm really picky when it comes to my cars but I'm extremely happy with both the product they used and the job they did installing it. So kudos to you guys, it's rare that I find a shop that I both trust and feel good about financially. Keep it up read more

These people were awesome. I stopped by on my way home from work to get some prices on a new stereo for my truck. Not thinking I would actually be able to get done that evening. I was going on a long trip and had a lot of preparing to do. To my surprise they said they would go ahead and install it right then. It was only a half an hour before they were closing. They got it installed in under 45 minutes and took the time to show me how it worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the man who installed it very efficient. Has to make the first review I've ever done on ANYBODY, be on these guys! The purchase of the audio system I bought was beyond what I ever expected. The customer service was beyond helpful, and what I walked out of there with, with the little money I had, was way more than I would have got at any other store! Those guys were well above and beyond any other store help I got out of SEVERAL other stores I tried before I come across these guys. They were honest, smart at what they do, honest, ect... These guys are amazing! I had a sort of tricky stereo install due to a factory stereo/navigation system that made it problematic. Joe is super knowledgeable and gave me several options. No pressure whatsoever on which system to buy. The price actually came in a little less than he originally quoted me.
