Dispensaries in Portland are popping up faster than acne on a teenagers face. I'm not calling Foster Buds a pimple though....I should have started this Yelp review stronger..... Even if I was a critical snob there is nothing I could find negative about this establishment. Their product is very broad and well stocked, the store itself smells nice and is always clean and comfortable. However, one of the strengths that shine bright about this place is customer service. Ever since I have been coming here the budtenders have always been regular, which allows them to understand and remeber what you prefer. They even remeber my name and occupation!!! Particular shout out to Justin, who is one of the most knowledgeable bud tenders I've ever dealt with, and always makes great recommendations toward my preferences. Justin has also given me some of the best cultivation advice ever for my small home grow. Thanks so much Justin!!! Thanks Foster Buds, never stop never stopping!!!! read more

Good product/strain selection, and they have a legit choice of paraphernalia and papers. Their ATM does charge a $1 fee, despite the sign in the lobby stating otherwise (showed up on my bank statement, not when I was using the ATM). Inconsistency in their birthday joint special --- they sold me a joint for $1 but only gave a friend $1 off a joint on her birthday. Would recommend to someone if they're already in the area, but not worth the drive across town read more

This is my neighborhood place, and I feel like I really lucked out. I've been in many other dispensaries around town, and this is my favorite. It's welcoming and friendly, not at all pretentious. The staff knows their stuff and are always kind and helpful. Great prices, easy parking, quality product....what more can you ask for?! Check em out! read more

There are a couple of times a year, when we want strawberries for canning, or a tree for Christmasing, when no place else will do. I can't stand to give a low star rating. Foster Buds has wonderful products and some really great employees. I thought about calling in but I decided this might reach better. I wad is this past wedsesday and kind of had enough. Needed to run in this friday evening and had a great time was waited on by justin. Let me make the distinction clear. I have gone in a time or ten dozen and this one young man has never let me down and another older employee who is consistent in acting like a bit of a jerk makes me not wanna always go there. It makes it hard because I like to put my couple dollars into local, small business. The attitude of the particular employee is off putting AMD it makes me not wanna come in so much. I feel like I should point this out. I'm a grandpa, father and friend too many. I get a long with all walks. There's no reason this guy should be treating people so cold. I used to wonder if it's personal but every feller or lady I've seen this particular employee with seems to get the same old treatment. He ain't doing nobody any favors, especially you all. Sticks out like a sour thumb in an otherwise cheery and professional type of place. read more

I must drive past 30 or more dispensarys on my way to this location. Why? You may ask. Spotted several issues with this tiny dispensary... 1.unclean.. touching marijuana without gloves! 2.rude 3.unfriendly 4.not helpful 5.unprofessional 6.employees looked like scary zombies 7.slim picking...doesn't have a good selection, (maybe) 8 different strains compared to most dispensaries. *Check out Little Amsterdam in Milwaukee...you will absolutely love it. Hands down the best shop in PDX. Huge variety of flower and concentrates. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Best growers in town. The real kicker for me is the 25 cent joint program they do on Fridays to help raise money for local charities.
