Went to FOTO EXPRESS for passport photographs. The gentleman and the lady were very attentive, and I got out...with the photos...in about 5 minutes. Later the next day, took a good, long look at the photos..., and didn't care for them. Went back, and the lady could not have been nicer, more polite or more understanding. She took new photographs (for which I insisted on paying), and I was extremely happy with the result this time (she spent perhaps 3 times longer getting these adjusted with her equipment..., and yet the cost was the same...$9). No hesitation at recommending them to all with similar needs. Will use again...for visas... Forgot to mention that she arrived twenty minutes before opening hour (10 A.M.), and cordially invited me in...right then and there. I just got my passport photo taken here, there were two people in line before me for other official photos. The photographer seemed to know all the rules for the various kinds of photos, and was very picky not just about getting conforming photos but about getting a good photo as well. It was more like a professional portrait shoot than a quick passport photo shot! Even with two people before me I was out of there with great photos in no more than 5 minutes, and for less that $10. I was tempted to knock off a star because the chairs in the waiting area really need to be replaced . . . but you're not really there long enough to need them, and that more than makes up for it. read more

Went ups to take passport photo for baby and they.messed up twice. They tried but just dont have the ewuipment or skill for babies. Got fed up and came to foto express. Immediately they whip out the baby chair and everything was done to spec with no shadows. Thumbs up! read more

So it's 6:00pm on a Monday and I need to get my passport photo taken because the Fremont post office said that their camera is broken. The guy answers the phone and I asked him what time do they close (even though they advertise 5 min photo and they close at 6:30pm), he says no we're closed and I said ok thanks then he said well, how long till you can be here I said 5 min he replied with "yeah then we're closed". Safe to say I will gladly jump through hoops to NOT give this lazy piece of trash my business. read more

Awesome service! I came here for passport photos and bought 6 for $20. At first I wondered if it was all worth it, but turns out I had to apply for some other visas and by the end I had 1 photo left. Well worth it! I even had them retake it at first after they've printed it because I wasn't happy with how I looked on paper(I thought they looked fine on the camera screen), and the lady was happy to. I took my 5 month old son to Foto Express store in Fremont for passport photo. The photographer took photo of my son with ease and we got the photos in less than 5 minutes. We like the photos very much and it was very professional. Before visiting this store we visited Walgreens store near Washington Hospital, Fremont. The Walgreens store employee was in a hurry to go home and he said it is not possible to take photo of your kid. Walgreen's should learn from Foto Express how to take infant photos. Now thanks to Walgreens, I found a very good store for photos - Foto Express. read more

Wow, this place is awesome. They do nothing but the passport and work photos. The yelp reviews were correct. I brought my 4 year old and 2 year old to get their Canadian passport photos. Foto Express knew exactly what to do without me explaining to them. They knew the specifications and stamped the information needed for the photo. My 4 year old was smiling too much but no problem; they took care of it. My 2 year old was crying but they worked the magic and the picture came out perfectly. I now regret that I was being cheap and went to Costco to get my passport photos taken before. For my next passport photos I'm coming here. read more

This is a great place to get your passport pictures taken. They have very good studio setting and a high resolution Olympus digital camera. The pictures always come out good.
