We came here to get a passport picture. We arrived during their opening hours and were given service right away. The person was very nice and courteous. After telling her the service we wanted, she immediately informed us that it would take 10-15 minutes to get the pictures done. The price was appropriate and compatible. After taking the picture, she would ask us if we liked it. If not, she will take another one until we're satisfied. We got our pictures within 10 mins wait. The place is like a UPS store with a mailing service and a notary. I saw also a PO box that you can rent.

5 star service!!! I went there to get a photo for some documents and spent there less than 5 mins. Ivana is a real professional and knows how to work with customers. I don't have anything to say-I had a great experience working with them. I will definitely go there if I need their service again.

What a great place! Went there to take pictures for my passport. The gentleman working there knew what he was doing. I did not have to explain the specific requirements that apply to Russian passports. In fact, he gave me a couple of tips that I was not aware of (like no earrings). The picture quality was great, and he used a ruler to show me that all of the dimensions (face, head, bottom to chin, etc) matched the requirements. I had already taken the same pictures at Walgreens next to the Russian Consulate, but they were so bad I could not use them. Highly recommend Foto Express. read more

A small mom and pop run photo studio. The lady is very very nice so is the gentleman but he's rough around the edges . They did the photo cutting job only for fraction of amount what CVS and Walgreens asking . They were charging exorbitant amount of money. They charge 10$ for 4 passport size picture instead of 12.99 $+taxes for 2 photos charged by CVS. This is a proper old style photo studio which takes you back in time and bring back nostalgia. Please support this family business and keeps your tax dollars locally. I will always bring my business here. read more

Based on Yelp reviews, I decided to stop in and get my passport photos done today. The photographer came out and greeted me with a smile. He had me sit on a stool and proceeded to direct me on tilting my head, chin up, chin down etc. Not the usual point and shoot quickie photo place. He makes sure that he gets the right angle and shots. I don't like getting photos done, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was happy with my phtoto. He takes pride in his craft. Fast service and a nice experience. All this great service for under $10.00! read more

Went there today and within 1 minute of stepping in the door they were taking my picture. They took 3 photos after positioning my head and shoulders just right. I was out the door with my 2 passport pics in around 5 mins, as advertised. read more

I had heard that Photo Express will slightly touch up the passport photo. I had first went to Walgreen's and the photo was so horrible. I could not live with looking at that photo for another 10 years!! I am extremely pleased with the photo I took at this location. What a difference from day to night!! It was fast and cheaper than going to Walgreen's. Everyone who needs a passport photo should have their photo taken here. Wish I knew about it sooner. I wasted my money at Walgreen's. read more

Great place! I was there to take a picture for my Polish passport and they did it! It's not very common here in Bay Area to find a photographer who can do it and they did it:) Service is awesome. Foto Express was originally started by “Uncle” Wilson Tsai and his wife Wendy. Uncle Wilson retired in 2018, after passing on his “Legacy of Foto Express” and his over 45 years of photography experience, to the business family of Avinash and Ivana Nichkawde. Photoshop nightmare!!! Came here to get my passport photo taken based on yelp reviews. My photo was a photoshop joke. I didn't even know you could photoshop a passport picture and definitely did not ask for any photoshopping. The old man had photoshopped my picture so badly that it barely resembled me. He moved my hairline, added hair to my head, removed hair from another part and added facial features. WTF? I would have been better off stapling a picture of J.Lo to my passport application and calling it a day. I mean how the hell could I use this picture when it looked nothing like me? When I said this to him, he didn't say anything but just stared at me. I also had my baby's passport photo taken and because I needed my baby's pictures, I just paid for everything and left. Two stars because baby's photo was fine (even though he did make insulting comments about my kid as well). Did we catch him on a bad day or what? There is a reason there is a "No Refunds on Passport Photos" sign. I ended up having to go somewhere else to get my pictures taken. So if you're a brunette with a Teresa Guidice hairline and Jocelyn Wildenstein cheekbones, I've got some passport photos you can have for free! read more

I was looking for places in Bay Area to take photos to renew my UK passport. I tried Walgreen, Kinkos, ... etc. and I finally found this place. I took the photos here in March, 2011. My photos were accepted by the British Embassy without problem. It is a family business and they know the standard. I forgot the exact price and it was around $15. read more
