My child's school did a last minute change to this company. We went on a Saturday. Upon arriving no one to greet you or give insight, everyone all customers had to help other customers. You reach the desk not much explanation on packages nor instructions on where to go. Again, customers helping and directing others as they proceed to studio room. Studio room only seniors allowed, fine waiting where all the other parents were and here comes a young man targeting me only telling me to wait outside. The only mixed AA in the waiting section. I asked him why did he walk past all the other parents without saying a word and come straight to me. No answer. I showed him there were parents inside the seniors only section yet nothing said to them! He just kept saying wait outside! At that time I felt disgusted that I had to be here & spend my money with these racist people! Horrible customer service! Do not give them school accounts! I will be making this a formal complaint with the dept. No idea who people are yet you choose to be racist and it showed! read more

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. I've dealt with Fotorama with my first child who is now 25 years old from elementary school to his high school portraits. Now I am dealing with Fotorama with my 13 year old who has pictures taken since elementary school and for both children, I never had a problem with them. This is by far the worst studio. I would advise all schools to check all of this businesses policies before entrusting something as important as senior pictures to a studio that has terrible customer service and they don't care because u have to go them to get your pic in the yearbook. They have horrible attitudes and the workers give out erroneous information. Just say that going here you will definitely have to visit another studio for real senior pics. read more

I was amazing. They have hand sanitizer set up everywhere because sanitation is their number one priority. Taking my senior pictures, everyone was so kind especially Carlos. I went here for my senior pictures and the process was so quick. They had me looking good and let me choose what cap and gown I wanted to wear for my graduation photos. Can't wait to check them out! Another bad incident, I did not get the picture package that I ordered and Fotorama blamed it on the school. The school administrator in charge of pictures was 100% certain that they passed out all the pictures that they received (I believe them). They cashed my check and simply said that they forwarded it to the school and they couldn't help me and hung up. No pictures or money back! read more

They suck at keeping track of pictures, the quality isn't even the best one to be real.

Our staff was informed that we could have our identification pictures taken starting at 7:30am. I arrived to work at 7:25am, put my belongings in my class, and was at the gym ready to take my picture at 7:38am. The fotorama photographer was still setting up and told me rudely that she would not start until 8am. I told her that our admin informed the staff that we could start at 7:30 but she said "well I'll start at 8" I went to the main office and told them and was informed that the administrative assistant had told them staff would be coming at 7:30am. Less than 1 star (if possible) for tardiness, rudeness, and not even attempting to accommodate busy staff members. I must add circumstances. I teach every period and have a homeroom). We teach our students to be on time to class--this should translate into being on time to work as requested by your clients/customers. Having a good attitude is another trait we stress to our students--translates into good customer service. It's just good business. Fotorama needs to study good business. I will encourage admin to rethink picture people for next year. Nov 18. Wow. I just called them to inquire about my daughter's pictures which were taken late August/early September and not yet received. The associate looked into it and informed me that the pictures were delivered yesterday Nov 17! WHY does it take 2 months to process and deliver? This place should not be in business! Another update Dec 1 I called Fororama again to inquire about the delivery of pictures. The associate told me they were delivered to the school on Oct 5! When I called in November, the delivery date was Nov 17. Which date is it?! Our school is in Carson!!! Fotorama is in Gardena! Really?! read more

First off, when walking into this place employees greeted us and my son didn't have to wait long to take his senior pictures. However it don't matter what package you get, they will be more then willing to take your money, but your child can be done with school and maybe even done with college and you still won't have what you payed for!! I called numerous times, and they would call back leave a message, but not have a clue when you call back WTH called you in the first place. Then to tell me they had NO order of my son and wanted me to give them the dates when we were in their store. The so called manager didn't know what she was doing and never called back. I have 2 other boys that will eventually graduate and rest assure I will do whatever I can to make sure Fotorama is not the studio taking those pictures. read more

This company prints out on thier package form that your child will not have their senior portait in the yearbook unless you purchase a photo package. The owner must not be very bright, this is for sure against any district policy. Definitely taking this further up the chain. Shame on them taking advantage of many people who can hardly afford to eat much less pay for their less than mediocre photos. If you could take a decent photo there would be no reason to force people to purchase. read more

I appreciate all hard work the company does but I did not enjoy their customer service at all! The photographers looked like they were rushing the kids and ignored me when I was asking a few questions; which felt rude. However, I did purchased a picture package for my daughter and it came out great, but took over a month and a half to receive them! I called Fotorama a few times on what the situation was but the employees kept telling me that the pictures would be out next week (obviously was a lie). While on the phone I did ask a few questions but the employee sounded confused, then decided to transfer me to two different people before I got a solid answer. Over priced but since school recommended them I was like "ok" bought them, went to pickup and here is the fun part they try to get you to buy more and don't give you the poses you took in the first place plus bad customer service! Horrible service! Took my senior pictures and I bought the deluxe packet but did not get anything sent to me. I called to see what was going on but they said that I had to pay $10 for each print again on the website! Ridiculous, I kept telling them that I didn't get anything and I was confused on why I had to pay an expensive packet plus $10 to choose my yearbook picture and I got nothing! They just took my money and left me without any memorable pictures. I should've just gone to the mall to take them instead that's how bad it is there. for Public my Daughters High School Graduation Pict:s I Ordered;.Paid overed $300.00 & wanted to retke on 1 of the Pict a Personal so I could order More from the Retake & we went so my daughter fo the Retake day of San Pedro high & they said they couldnt & latter i called Fotorama & they said oh well Latter they Did do the Personal Pict;s, so Disapionting when I wanted to pay for Retake & buy more Pictures$, Now right before i 1st Placed Order for all the Pict;s I asked when the Pict. Annoucments would come & Fotorama told me over the Phone they would come at the end of April or beging of May & i have called everyother wk Afterwards to ask when they were coming, & over Ph Again they told me the Next Friday 13th May now i they told me that last Friday, & again I called they said they will come on Friday at the Schools Finance Office & my Daughter wanted to Make sure they would come so 2day Monday May 23rd & they werent there,so I called 2day & again the same man told me oh well it will be there at School on Friday oh so get this there is no /School on Friday!! Unknow this f Man from Fotorama tells me oh well its plenty of time before graduation & a month before, No there isnt because 2day is the 23rd & graduation is exactly 1month from Now!! This is the absolute worst company ever and I wish my daughter's school WOULD STOP USING THEM! My first dealings with them was during my daughter's 6th grade year. I ordered pictures and received them horribly touched up, (looked like they touched it up using a cheap phone app) and I never order any touch ups in the first place! Her face looked like plastic. So I had to reorder the pictures but they wanted $10 for shipping. $10 to locally ship flat 8X10 pictures??? I can priority mail a flat envelope for $5.75 to any state in the US, what a rip-off! So I had to go and drive an hour to go pick them up. The second time I dealt with them, I gave the photographer my order form and she just tossed it on the table with my credit card information showing, so I kindly asked her to turn it over and she did, but I wasn't sure if she was paying attention to where she put my order form, but I trusted that it would be ordered. Weeks later, no pictures so I call the company and they said they never got the order. So either the incompetent photographer lost my order form right there at the school or just threw my order away (with my credit card information on it, mind you!) So I placed a new order and they said it would be ready in a week. I got no calls from them so I called to follow up and this guy answers the phone and said I need to call back when his supervisor is in so she can answer my questions. I just wanted to know if my order was ready, and he said he couldn't answer that and I had to call back the next day. The level of incompetence for this company is astounding. Why are they still in business when there are so many other photography companies in Los Angeles that are far superior??? read more

I am a Senior from Carson who graduated in 2015 and I took my senior pictures at this studio. The prices are a little higher than one would expect, however, when compared to any other big photo company Fotorama has the best deals that they send through email. I came here for the first time brought my daughter in for senior pictures last saturday, our session was great. I paid a sitting fee and got many poses. The photographer was patient, professional, and great. She knew how to pose her, and take pictures quickly. The proofs were so hard to choose when it came to me ordering. I can't wait to see the end result. I know they will be great! All in all my visit was amazing and I will definitely come back here for my son's senior pictures. read more
