This place is a rare gem in a sea of redundant gaming bars, live music, great space, solid, entertaining bartenders who actually manage the bar properly. I wish the physical location was a little better but otherwise founders is a perfect regular gaming haunt. Stopped by the Founder's Club on Friday night for some Karate Karaoke! I haven't been out in ages, and I was anxious to try out this new spot! The bar is really cute, its open, with comfy chairs, pool tables, and plenty of seating at the bar. Karaoke, of course, was awesome. Tj is a great host, and the sound was SO good! There's a little stage, too, so you can feel like a total rock star. Drinks were good, but spendy. $6 for a shot of well tequila is about $2 more than I'm used to. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something to plan ahead for next time. Also..its RIGHT next to Taco y Taco, so you can do shots at Founder's Club, and then grab some tacos to help you sober up to do more shots!! You will find great lounge seating for hanging out with friends, 2 pool tables, lots of video machines, clean updated bathrooms, and an awesome DJ with a small stage and dance floor area. Since they do not serve food, there IS smoking permitted inside the Founders Club. This can be seen as a draw or a deterrent, depending on your personal preference. Bartender Malcolm was a consomate professional but between it's hard to find, the 55° ambient temperature and the $5 bottle beer, chances are, we will prolly not frequent this establishment much until they work out the kinks. Rude male bartender on Friday nights. I just had a baby and I haven't been out in months, went to this place for a good night because my favorite DJ was doing karaoke here. A "regular" decides to start a fight with me about my friend being drunk (yes she was, that was the point of going out) and the bartender chose to scream and yell at me as if I was at fault for defending myself to this woman. I'm almost 40 years old I don't start bar fights, but I'll finish it. Don't waste your time with this crappy run down joint with shitty wine. read more

I have been coming to this bar for 8 years. Never have I EVER been so humiliated. Like I said, I've been coming here for I years. I've seen this bar through Hot Shots, Double Shots, and now Founder's Club. I brought my "man" here. He was drunk. He made a HUGE scene. So I left. An hour later, I came back to the bartender, over the intercom system telling me he will not let me in (I was going to pee and ask if i could borrow a phone to tell my babysitter I'd be late, since the babysitter had my phone. I didnt see an issue, since I've done this in the past.) He told me that since I caused a scene (i didnt, I left) he wouldn't let me in. And he would call the police if I stayed by the door. He finally came out with a phone, and told me how absolutely blessed I was that he was even giving me the time of day. Well, being the smart aleck I am, I needed to remind him that he's just the same as me. A bartender with no real power at a dead end job. We both are. He decided to snatch the phone from my hand, literally PUSH me away, and slam the door in my face threatening me with the police. I asked him to check the cameras to see that I did nothing I was accused of and he said "why should I? Bitch." And refused to answer the door. I literally left when an issue arised and saw no reason for the treatment I recieved. I just wanted to pee and possibly borrow a phone. I didnt know the person I brought would cause such a scene that the bartender thought I needed such terrible treatment. But I'm sad and sorry to say this place has given me the worst treatment of my life. Maybe give your employees a lesson in customer service. Maybe. read more

We came in for a long weekend and were looking for a fun spot to go off the strip. We ended up at founders club and had a great time! There was great live music and it was nice a change of pace! my visit started early in th A.M. it seemed as if it were going to be pleasant. Malcolm the professed owner of the establishment was highly offended i referred to my fiancee as a hostage. i have thick skin what i didn't have at the time was a home. the morning air was brisk and grub hub was on their way with food i had been waiting all month to eat. back up 2 days prior i was released from the ward 2 e of las vegas optimum skill and knowledge VA System released me with zero meds for a 2 month mania that probably kept me alive my endurance being homeless. I feel greatly malcolms lack of intelligence and sense of humor caused me distress and if the nice woman he was courting while on duty did advise me to breathe our already strained relationship would have went sour. rhanks but no thanks putters is 100 yards and by far a better experience. read more
