It is cozy place to have fun and play pool it's really cute inside looks like you can have a cup of hot chocolate or coffee in there

Had a great time at NF taps and corks. Met the bartender Peter who was very accommodating. I hope to return. The only items I noticed that were lacking were lively atmosphere. It's an extremely laid back almost cottage vibe. I enjoyed it but it could certainly use some livening up. read more

Back when we visited NFTC the food and atmosphere was amazing! We aren't much for drinking, but the place definitely has a wide array of options if you're looking for a place to chill and relax with friends or if you're on a date. Ok. So this place! I grew up on the North Fork, and visit my family in Cutchogue when I get the chance. This place! I was looking for a coffee shop on Christmas Eve day--none to be found open--so I decided, wine. I had already been here a few nights before for a quick beer and really enjoyed the atmosphere. They have great craft beers on tap. They have local, foreign, and craft beers throughout the U.S. They have a great selection of wines. They don't just have Long Island wine, which is fortunate because I find wine from L.I. to lack flavor and follow through. This is a bar. You can buy food from another place and bring it in. Michelangelo's Pizza is right in front of them on the Main Road--good choice. Grab a pizza, walk in, belly up to the bar, one of the many corner nooks, upstairs area, or hightop table, and enjoy your food with a drink. The owner is cheery, receptive, and congenial. I enjoyed my conversation with her, which lasted quite a while, and she was so hospitable. I followed her suggestions of wine, based off what I described as my likes, and she did not disappoint. As for pricing, I haven't found such a well priced bar, that was not a dive bar. My two glasses of wine came out to 14 dollars. Seriously! The atmosphere is comfortable. Warm. Inviting. Cheery. Like I said. This is a bar. Not a slug back shots type bar, or a get rowdy bar, but a hardy guffaw, enjoy each other's company, slap your friend on the back, or get cozy in the corner with the one you love, type bar. Great final stop after spending the day on the north fork. Nice beer & wine selection. Could use a couple more local beer options. Good Guinness - as promised! Nice amount of seating and I liked the decor. It had a bit of a cozy pub feel to it and the bartender was very friendly. read more

We've stopped in to North Fork Taps & Corks on our last two visits to see family in Southold and have enjoyed the atmosphere and service. We went both times during the day and had bartenders who seemed to be the owner. There is no food at Taps and Corks, but I'm told you can bring in your own. So I'll hit the two most important aspects of the bar. Physical space- this bar is adorable. Wood paneling and a spiral staircase (avoid after drinking) with high top tables and rustic country benches and decorations. There are many Christmas story leg laps! The lighting in perfect, not to bright but not too dark either. There are a couple of soft seats and there is a large space upstairs that would be good for a party. The drinks- specializing in local and New York beer and wine. You can do a sampler of either one- $12 for beer and $15 for wine for your choice of any four. The majority of beer and wine are New York, but there are some basic large brands as well including Guinness and Bass (one owner is Irish) and some common wines from around the world. I appreciate not sticking with only NY wine, we enjoyed an Italian Prosecco and a tasting of beers from four Suffolk County breweries. Taps and Corks and well with worth the visit! read more

This place has a great vibe but the bartenders/staff seem like they feel superior to their guests. Very rude! I was ignored multiple times while also getting looks from the bartender and then when I finally got noticed I said "thank you so much for helping me finally" he took it as a rude remark and refused to serve me and then kicked me out! I work in the service industry (currently the owner and president of Big City Bride in Chicago) and it doesn't matter if you are behind a bar or serving a table or helping your client plan a wedding, you treat your guests with respect and this place failed to do that, big time. I didn't do anything wrong and I was refused re-entry. I feel like the men in this place feel entitled or something. Just because I'm a female ordering a drink doesn't mean I'm already drunk trying to start something. They just need to step down from their pedestal and do their job. Never coming here again when I am in town and I will definitely let people know about how I was treated here. read more

What a great find ! Our group of 6 were traveling out to the North Fork for a wine tasting on Saturday and stumbled upon this gem in a small but interesting shopping center. Kevin the bartender greeted us in a warm Irish manner and ourselves and the wives enjoyed some great Guinness, a few cold lagers and delicious hard cider. They had a fine list of Long Island wines that we will have to return to sample. The establishment followed all the rules regarding COVID and was exceptionally clean. Evaluation Test of last year: It is close to Long Island where my relative lives. We were on a trip back to the suburbs wanting a meal and thinking that this place was the only place available at the time since it was pitch dark. We were not too hungry, tried to look up the online menu without any luck. That was the first slip, not being able to decide what to order. Cannot determine if it means they want to surprise customers with good daily surprises or hide subpar food. Food was delicious not going to lie, but chunks were small and the wine was a little different than what I had had before when a friend allowed me to sample something. Later that night, one person got sick and was up all night. We were directed by New Yorkers to try it, I like to try random places with great performances, parties are awesome which is a redeeming factor. If you want to have a good show, then they do a good job of that. Next time, I will only come for the party and drinks. It is a shame that the pandemic had to suck the life out of that this time. read more

An awesome place tucked away in Southold. We love a place that promotes all local wine and beer. The selection is extensive! The rating is solely due to the service behind the bar. The bartender was very friendly and incredibly knowledgable when it comes to the beer and wine. They have karaoke on Thursdays! We will definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend and I came here to pick up a bottle of wine to bring to a family member in the area. We love trying to support local business but this is a total rip off... Beware and bring your business elsewhere. They charged us 28 dollars for a 6 dollar bottle of wine. Quiet bar in Southold - great place for an afternoon break from the salt and sun. They have events most nights too (open mic, live music, trivia, etc) and are open all year. Great place to discover local beers and wine. Sunday's are Sangria Sundays ($5)!! read more

After alternating between Vineyards and Breweries all day, we decided to drop in here based on the name. My husband doesn't drink wine, and my friend doesn't drink beer, so we gave it a shot. We sat at the bar with Bernadette and ended up staying for about 2 1/2 hours. The only reason we left was because we had a 7:00 dinner reservation. What a great little place! The wine and beer selections were varied and there was something for all of us! The next time I get my husband to agree to head out east with me, we will just skip the Vineyards and go straight here. read more

Update: Since writing my negative review, I've been the victim of cyberbullying and harassment from Bernadette and her lovely patrons. I've been targeted through my work, my facebook and most recently my wedding website. All platforms have been notified, along with the state police cyber crime unit who are looking into the IP addresses from all posts and messages, so keep them coming Bc they are ALL being documented. It really says a lot about an establishment when "patrons," behest of the owner are told to go after someone who writes a negative review. Makes sense why this dive bar doesn't have more negative reviews - anyone who writes one is just bullied to the point of deletion! I would take all of these "five star reviews" with a grain a salt - many have come from the same people who have directly seeked me out in retaliation, all over a negative and truthful review. The gentleman below "frank M" is a liar because the only man at the bar was a gentleman named John so unless "frank m" is a fake yelp account created by John, he must be thinking of a different bachelorette party - ours was tame compared to normal standards and the only person who was yelling was the bartender, Bernadette, herself. To pretend he was there to rebut my claim further indicates the lengths this bar will to refute any negative experiences instead of trying to make them right. If you're in the area - STAY AWAY from this bar. It's not worth it. read more

I love going to Taps and Corks. It is a great night out, super low key, really nice beer and wine selections and great bang for the buck. Have been there on Trivia Night, which is always alot of fun and on open mic night, also a great time. It is a perfect spot to stop in on a quiet night, the customers are always very friendly and Bernadette is simply the best, she is a terrific host, everyone who walks thru those doors is immediately welcomed as a friend. The place is immaculate and a super pleasant change from the local bar scene, I wish them much luck moving forward and hope they continue to run such a fantastic little spot, Southold is certainly well served by Taps and Corks. read more
