Another incredible meal at Pete's Taverna--it's quickly become one of our favorite spots. One of the things I appreciate most is that you're never rushed; the whole experience feels relaxed and enjoyable. They offered a delicious Valentine's surf-and-turf special, but we decided on the lamb chops and pork chops instead, and both were excellent. We started with the Greek soup, which was absolutely incredible. To top it all off, Pete himself came over at the end of the evening to introduce himself, which was such a nice, personal touch. And you can't beat the ambiance. Coastal, fresh with a lovely fireplace wall.

Pre-Christmas happy hour with girls at Pete's Taverna. Thanks for the warm hospitality to Andrew & Ed

Food is always top notch, lovely wines and ambience is very festive. The Greek fries are not be missed. The octopus is tender and succulent.

Went out east for a nice joyride. Stopped for quick bite along the way. Came across this place. So glad we stopped. Had a few drinks at the bar and quickly decided on the wings. They were so Crispy and the sauce was outstanding. I also had the soup pictured. I will be going back sooner than expected.

Whether she's making the rounds as the cart girl or serving drinks at the bar, Sydney goes above and beyond to make every member feel welcome and taken care of. She's always quick with a cold drink and a kind word, and it's clear she genuinely cares about creating a great atmosphere for everyone. The club is lucky to have her, and we're even luckier to be greeted by her each time we're out on the course!

But that is not why I am willing to drive long distances to play the wonderful game of Golf. It's because I enjoy playing on a golf course that are difficult to get on unless you're a member. And if a family or friend invites to you to play, I never say no. The Vineyards Golf Course is a beautifully designed course that easily blends in with its surroundings. The course has three set of tee boxes which we chose to play the back tees of course. Why??, well because the young men I was playing with can drive ball 300 yards plus and sometimes on the fairway. It sure did not help my game when I attempted to drive the ball the distances they seem capable. I found the Vineyards golf course challenging with its rolling fairways, protected by large meandering sand bunkers, false fronts and hazards. We had a windy day that played in our favor on some holes and others which easily challenged us. The par-3 holes were a variety in length, direction and difficulty. The secondary roughs had fescue grasses and in some cases we were lined up along a corn field farm. Vineyards was much more challenging than I anticipated, but I very much enjoyed the course and would love to play there again before the season ends.

Our waitress was wonderful. To start, we got there lobster fritters & jamesport baked Brie which were both so flavorful and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We shared the duck confit & stuffed summer squash & I am now determined to make that squash at home! Also had butternut beer for the first time and woah. It rivaled my favorite seasonal pumpkin beer! The patio was beautiful and decorated perfectly! I also loved the skeletons that greeted us as we entered!

We went out for a nice dinner with another couple and our friend has to be sure there are gluten free items on the menu. When I called to check, the woman on the phone, who was so nice and I wish I remembered her name, said that they had gluten free options, and they can also change some of the entrees to be gluten free. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and seated in their very beautiful dining area near the outside patio. It was too hot to eat outside, but at least we got to see the beautiful outside area, which we will definitely check out when the weather is nicer. When we got to our table we met our awesome server Kim, who helped our friend with the menu and gluten free options. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all of us and our questions. When the drinks and apps came out, they were absolutely delicious. Kim is also an awesome bartender and her drinks were perfect! The apps I would recommend are the scallops, shrimp, fried mozzarella, and the mussels. Yes, we had them all and they were awesome! When our entrees arrived they were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. Everything we ate here from the apps to our desserts were outstanding! When we were done with dinner, we asked about exploring the upstairs since it looked very interesting and we were curious about it when we first walked in. Kim encouraged us to go explore, even though they were closing, and we were so happy we did. You have to try this place, and also see what is upstairs, you will not be disappointed; it's beautiful, very unique and I also think it may be haunted :-) Thank you to Kim and all the staff for making our night really special, we will be back soon!

Well when they arrived on time for a 5 pm reservation and a couple clearly with no reservation bullshitted the hostess while they watched that couple was seated ahead of them. So as that couple was being seated by the hostess the owners partner asked my daughter if she could help them, as she fumbled to find there name because she realized what had just happened, they were told it would be about 10 more minuets. with no room at the bar they were directed to wait on the porch. No further contact was made just employees with major attitudes walking past and ignoring them. After 45 more minutes they were finally seated. What was supposed to be a relaxing evening without the little ones became an unpleasant experience. So when they came to pick up the kids, I called and got the owners partner on the phone and told her what happened and she said to me with an attitude what do you want me to do about it? we've been there many times and bought many gift cards over the years and I think you should give her a partial credit or a round of cocktails next time, so the owners partner was very rude and advised me that that was not ever going to happen And click she slammed the phone down and hung up on me. And that is why Chick-fil-A will be around forever and although it will take time the demise of this Restaurant is very predictable. There is no more important thing in that building no matter how good the food is than a customer. local former customer voting with my feet.
