I got a call yesterday from Tom to bring my car to repair the door. This is my 5th trip, to this location. Each time i was told they found the problem. They r telling me it will be 2hrs for repair. I arrived at 1100 hrs. At 1200 hrs Tom came to lobby and said he had bad news. He said they sent the wrong part. It's obvious that no one checked to see if they had the right part. Being this is my 5th visit and i am missing school time, I don't have any idea who to complain to. This is not good. Im wondering if i should go to another dealer. fountain auto mall sold me a lemon!! last week of jan 2025, i bought a used car as is from juan at fountain auto mall. suspiciously the engine light came on the very next day after driving it home. the catalytic converter needed replacement etc etc. the manager was unresponsive and refused to pay a nickle or help in any way. i went to another dealer and a mechanic there said the car would cost more to repair than it was worth and that the car was inoperable !!! stay away from these guys. they have absolutely no integrity. read more

If I could give negative stars this would be it. Took two months to repair a car, terrible at giving updates on your car ( you have to call in 90% of the times) After two months I pick up the car and it's clearly a crap repair job, the side mirror is shaking as in u look at it to see the cars and they are all "shaking" Squeaky noise , doors feel horrible to open and close which is part of what they "repaired", in all if I had to rate the repair it would be a negative as I mentioned . Blows my mind that not a single person drives the car to make sure the repair is decent ?? Now I have to waste more time in going back and getting it repaired . Fountain Mitsubishi & Buic/GMC Service The mitsu buiding was closed. 3 dealerships in 1 building I walked in & most dealerships have 10+ salesman on you, Not this clown joint. 2 on floor. 1 with some one, one doing paperwork that he could not pause. they had to call the 1 hiding, I brought uo a car on web, that had good discounts. the 1st thing he said was did I see the asterisk, where it has 5 things you have to gave to be edible. No one could match all, so its toi get you in door & its a scam. then he started explaining the crazy fees, because covid caused the markey to go up. as soon as I said I dont fall for that inflation that all firms claim. he said it looks like he cant sell me a car & got up & left. very rude. I asked for his manager & the manager proceeded to ignore. when he got tired of me telling him how rude him & the clown sales person were, he called security. In April 2023 took my buick envision suv in for service. Dealt with what I thought was a service manager named Christy. I bought my vehicle there for 2 reasons my rear a/c had went out for the 3rd time since I bought this vehicle brand new from them in 2018. Now keep in mind my vehicle only has 22000 miles on it. My sunroof shade had stopped working, and yes I do have an extended warranty on this vehicle. I was told by Christy that gm would pay for my sunroof shade since the extended warranty refused to pay for the sunshade. And that the extended warranty would pay for my a/c. Never heard back from fountain until I had to call Christy in JUNE to find out why i have not been scheduled for the repairs. I got the excuse that parts were on back order. Yes you read that right, parts on back order for 2 months. So I called the warranty company who had my extended warranty and was advised that they had just received the claim for service the week before I called them. I was finally scheduled to drop my vehicle off on June 26th, this dealer had my vehicle for 5 weeks and never repaired my sunshade the excuse that was given that the wrong color shade was sent so they reinstalled my old shade which now hangs down to the windows and whoever sits in the back seat has the sunshade sitting on their head. My a/c was never repaired in the back and was told it was. I received a call from whom i thought was the mgr over the service dept in august, telling me that the new sunshade was ordered again. Here i am its October 2nd and i am still waiting for my sunshade and a/c to be repaired correctly. I have called Christy numerous times, and she still has not called me back. This dealer has left me no other alternative but to seek legal representation due to the failure to provide me with the service and for destroying the inside of my vehicle roof. I just spoke to Christy at 11 am. on october 2nd, and she answered her phone because she did not know it was me. When i said my name she had one hell of an attitude. Save yourself the time, hassle and most important: Your Money. I bought a "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle 3 months ago and noticed problems the very next day. I immediately notified them of the 3 issues. I've been given the run-around with having these things fixed. There's been absolutely no follow through and no contact on their end. I've been practically left in the dark with no valid explanation except excuse after excuse. I've been in contact with Matt Wasson in Service and MJ in Sales about once a week. I'm fairly understanding of situations but there's absolutely no excuse for the way I've been pushed to the side like this. I found a car i liked on Autotrader. I called this dealer to ask if the price shown was a price everyone could get or did it represent multiple rebates not everyone will qualify for. Here's how that went. I called the dealer and went through automated phone answering (if you want xx press 1, if you want xx press 2...) four times. Then I got the receptionist for sales she transferred my call to a salesperson. The salesperson listened to my question then put me on hold so he could go check with someone. Great place to buy a car. The car buying was a breeze, very quick. If you need your car serviced, either go to an independent auto shop, or go to the dedicated dealer for your vehicle. Every time I've been in for servicing, i have had to wait for 2 hours or more, after the rep tells me, 'we're all set, just going to wash your car.' Every time. On top of that my vehicle sits in front of the service lounge, all I want to do is get on with my day, yet due to some miscommunication they are still waiting on the mechanics to hand over the paper work. I purchase a truck from Fountain GMC. The Sales process was terrible. We were sharing our office with another party buying a Terrain. We were listening to them negotiating for a Terrain while negotiating for our GMC truck! This was incredibly unpleasant and unnecessary! There were several empty offices offering total privacy! The finance manager allegedly took advantage of us. We paid 50% down payment and my FICO Score is 820, yet we did not get the advertised rate of 3.60% but according to him 5.25%. In fact, when we received our loan documents the APR was actually 7.25%. I suppose he got a big bonus for allegedly fraudulently change the interest rate. The Service Manager is very nice and friendly but is void of common sense and understanding of savvy business! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and warn any one buying a vehicle at this dealership that they will quickly regret it! First, let me explain my role in this. I made the mistake of trusting my Sales Rep, Harry Mejia. Harry presented me a clean CarFax report for the used 2010 TL that I was interested in. The problem was the TL had in fact been in an accident and needed to be repaired. Unfortunately, I only discovered this after the deal was done and I had driven off the lot. There was considerable damage to the vehicle, the estimate I received came in at $2900 and change. Here's the thing, when used car dealers take in cars, they do appraisals and go over the vehicles with a fine tooth comb. Harry knew about this damage and chose not to disclose it. This amounts to fraud and I'm pursuing a case against Fountain Auto Mall. I should make mention that when I returned the next day, after Harry would not return my calls (called three times), he had me speak to his Manager, Jason Ness. Jason is as big a liar as Harry is and even contradicted himself twice while lying to my face. It's one thing to lie. But when you expose your lies by contracting yourself right in front of your customer, you're either naive or just stupid. After leaving because Wayne, the GM wasn't in and he's the only one that could help me, according to Jason, Harry called me back. He assured me that Wayne would be calling me in the morning. It's not almost 3PM now. I've called and left messages for Wayne but of course, he hasn't returned my call. And I get it, they don't want to lose the deal. They did well. They sold a car way over it's value by deceiving their customer. Is this the right thing to do though? I don't think so. So why not make it right? Bottom line is, Harry Mejia and Jason Ness will lie, cheat and steal to get your money. And for what? a little bit of cash? For whatever pathetic commission these two clowns got on this deal, they sold out their honesty and integrity. As a long time salesperson, I would never, ever, lie to a client or deceive him in any way. I am always transparent with my clients and won't do a deal if it's not a win-win for both of our companies. Harry and Jason exemplify the used car salesman stereotype. Took my vehicle to this dealership because I wanted service and guidance from GMC expert. Instead, I received an estimate from a dishonest Service Advisor! After paying $100+ at this dealership for a diagnostic, I reluctantly took my vehicle to Firestone for a second opinion. Firestone charged me $22 for the same diagnostic and then physically showed me a couple items the dealership ordered we're Not necessary. Even though I live almost 40 minutes away, I will continue to bring my car back to Tom at the Service Center for Mitsubishi for the outstanding customer service that he provides. This past week I scheduled an appointment at 1:30 p.m. for an oil change and a tire patch. They took a little longer than normal to complete, so Tom comped my service. This is the second time that he's done this for me - what true customer service is about! Additionally, the customer waiting area is always clean (including the bathrooms) and inviting. I took my 2012 GMC Serria in for the air bag light and the vehicle says service air bag. When I arrived at Fountain Auto Mall service center I was told there was a recall. I replied good and also requested an oil changed and check an oil leak. I went out of town for 5 days and left the truck there. I received work that the oil sending unit was leaking and it would be $900.00 to fix. I approved the repair. I went to pick up my truck today and jumped in started the vehicle and the air bag light is on and it says service air bag. I went back to the service advisor, she went to the tech and the reply I received when she came back was " no one asked to perform a diagnostic on the air bag just replace the recall item. How do I know the air bag is working, and would it not make sense if you worked on the air bag and the light is still on and says needs service that they would find out why, especially since that's why I brought it in. I couldn't make this stuff up. Totally irresponsible, I feel like I went there for nothing and walked away with the same result. read more

I've been holding off on writing this review to see if MANAGEMENT would ever have the decency to return my call (Eventually they did). Be very VERY Leary when buying a USED vehicle from these crooks. So here's how it all went down. I had called on a 2006 Toyota 4Runner after a call with Andrew Kenimer he ended up bringing it to me because my other car broke down. He called his boss who ended up running my credit as my mother was helping me pay for the vehicle. I was hesitant to do so as I knew we would work a way to get the money to them (which we did of course) so wasn't too happy about that. Well after I was able to get my car towed I walked down the street and had a back pack on to come give the vehicle a test drive. It needed some work (or the work they said it needed) wasn't horrible so I said I would come back. (Here's the best part I guess the showroom floor was talking about me saying I looked like a mess and wouldn't be back) jokes on them. So here's where it gets worse. They had a list with a few things that were wrong with the vehicle. Well they weren't horrible but had to take care of them. They wanted $968 for two hub bearings when the left was already replaced. Replaced other side for $350. Trying to squeeze more money out of me. I don't think so! So after a week goes by my front brakes start squeaking. Time for pads I suppose. As well as when I hit the brakes over 50 steering wheel violently shakes. I get under the 4Runner and realize both boots on the steering rack are severely torn and the rack itself is not stable. They have charged me almost $11k out the door for a vehicle that's worth $7000 at best. What a waste. Here's where it gets even better. Having it 2 and a half weeks realized something was wrong. Took it to Toyota to have an inspection done and they came back with $7k worth of work. That was NOT DISCLOSED!!! What a horrible experience. Please don't do what I did I am going to regret this for year. Oh and Andrew and Kyle Clements, David, and any of the other managers since you sell horrible vehicles. So I need to take a moment to just tell you all how great this place is and how wonderful I was treated by Brian Garrett and Van McCray. First off let me start of with how I found this car shop. I was googling online to see what kind of cars they had and I decided I would look into the Mitsubishi Out lander 2016. Brian Garrett responded VERY quickly and was so helpful with sending me several quotes. I then decided I would stop by the next day. As soon as I walked in he was very helpful and not pushy like other care sales people. He let me look around and then that is when the lovely Mrs. McCray took me for a test drive. She was as sweet as can be! I never felt pressured into anything which made me want to purchase the vehicle even more. The process was so smooth and fast! With in a few hours I had the keys to my new Mitsubishi Out lander 2016. Once I was all done, Mrs. McCray sat with me and explained every feature and how to use it. I would love to start by saying that I had a great experience with my salesperson(Mari Sow). Here's what my complaint is about. They have a VERY bad maintenance/ mechanic shop. I bought a 2013 BMW M5 on 4/3/2021. I drove it from Orlando, Fl to Chesterfield, Va. Around 850 trip. On 4/6/2021 the engine light came on and the car was in limp mode. Luckily I was close to my house and was able to drive it home. That afternoon I called a local BMW specialty shop and they where able to fit me in for an inspection that Friday morning. I started the car up the next morning and saw no engine light. Once towed to the shop, they thoroughly inspected the car and OBD2. It was throwing a code for coil packs needing replace and they also told me to replace one spark plug. Also my cabin filter was missing, air filter needed to be replace also a leak in my coolant lines to the turbos. Total cost of repairs where $2460.52. After calling several times and getting voicemails and not call back. I reached out to Mari Sow, she directed me to the manager of their maintenance shop, where he said they went through the car and didn't see nothing wrong. He said they replaced the window wipers, oil change and cabin filter( which was missing when my car was looked through when I got home). I emailed him and said that I don't feel like I should have to cover the cost 100%. I don't know what inspection point system they use, but if they don't know how to thoroughly inspect foreign cars like BMW's. They should of least taken it to their local BMW dealership and have the car inspected by them and run engine codes to see if any are present. From my experience in buying cars( foreign and domestic) I never had this type experience from a major dealership. I've never bought a car and within 1,100 miles have to change the coil packs, coolant lines and missing filters. There's no way the manager should've cleared this car for resale in the state the car was in. Also when I said that I shouldn't be responsible for 100% of the repair bill he basically told me that, they inspected the car and it was good to go, which was absolutely incorrect. If you're getting a vehicle from Fountain Auto Mall I would not get a used vehicle from them, and if you do I would get a second opinion once purchasing from them to make sure nothing is missing or wrong with the car. The only reason they got one star is because of the salesperson Mari Sow that was a really good salesperson. read more

Purchase three cars from that dealership .the first two cars had minor issues but the third car had major problems.I went to the dealership several times to get the problems corrected in the beginning I was treated fairly well . I had a transmission replaced but the vehicle continued to to have problems during my last visit I was treated like insignificant person. I wrote a letter to the manager Concerning my treatment.He didn't have the decency to answer me. Ask them for their corporate office number and they refused to give it to me. Avoid this place like the plague! Kristy in the service department told me I would get a $200 rebate on my $4400 transmission but when I received the rebate form (after the install) it clearly indicated that the vehicle was not eligible. All I got from her was "sorry, I can't do anything about it". Went to her boss and to GM customer service. Everyone said they would not give me the $200 but instead offered me useless credit towards accessories. The discussions went on for several weeks and it is unimaginable that the dealership would go through so much trouble NOT to correct what was clearly a mistake by their employee. They are a real disappointment and this shows such a lack of integrity on Kristy, her boss and the entire dealership. If they handle all of their business this way, everyone should stay away from them. read more

I have a lease that is coming due and wanted to speak to someone regarding this. Seems no one is interested in my business. I have called and asked for the owner's email and was told they don't give it out. The sales person they directed me to when I went in smelled like he had been taking a cigarette break the entire day. It was disgusting! I just want someone to have the common courtesy to return a phone call or email. I wonder if the owner is even aware that this practice does on at his company.
