We have been here several times and previous to this visit it has been enjoyable. Friday night's experience was subpar. The tap system was not working properly for 6 different pours. Only one staff person for the taproom: checking people in, picking up glasses and troubleshooting. Way too much for one person! We were very disappointed! Hope this was a one time mishap. read more

My parents, my girlfriend and I were just staying the night in Chattanooga to cut our drive in half on the way home from Gatlinburg, TN. Found this place with the help of Yelp. It was awesome! 60 self serve taps with beer, ciders, wine and more. We had never been to a place like this before. Limited menu but all the food was amazing. We had a little bit of everything. Also the atmosphere was really cool. They had a ton of board games, trivia, etc to play with your friends and family. Highly recommend Fountainhead! Great place to go for a game night as a couple, or with groups of friends or family! read more

I hosted a small come and go farewell get together here during one of my last nights in Chattanooga. I'm so sad that I hadn't discovered this place sooner! It is very clean and they have an amazing selection on tap. We also happened to be there the night they opened their cocktail bar! All of my friends had nothing but great things to say about Fountainhead and were very impressed! The weather was nice and we were able to hang out on their outdoor patio attached to the side of the building, which was a huge bonus! It was also nice to see that they were both dog and kid friendly. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a tutorial of how the self serve taps work and even gave us recommendations on what to try based on each of our preferences. I absolutely loved the selection of sours! read more

Very cool concept. The space is very inviting and I suspect they will host a lot of events here. Back in the day when I used to select corporate event locations I would have been all over this place. At first I was surprised they did not have food but there are so many great choices close by and you can bring your own so that actually makes it kinda nice. I thought the beer selection was excellent but was a bit disappointed with the few wines they had. I am sure they understand their clientele so maybe wine is not a big deal. I love that the room is available for fun events like the Sushi class my wife and I are signed up for. Staff was great and very helpful. We reserved the taproom for a friend's bridal shower. We had so many compliments from our guest about how wonderful the place was. The owner and other employees are super nice. A really great place tucked away from the hustle of town! Great beer and awesome staff. They have games for you and for your children. The old building is very nice and unique. They have a beer station that you can walk up and pour your own pint, which they have a VERY large variety that any beer person would enjoy. The place was very clean and very nice. Great new addition to Chattanooga! It's so nice to be able to try a wide variety of beers, ciders, and a few wine selections without having to purchase a whole glass. The atmosphere has a rustic feel with its exposed brick walls and beautiful wood top tables, but is extremely clean at the same time. The owner is super knowledgeable of his products and very helpful. The option of being able to bring/order your own food here gives you unlimited options to make your experience here even more enjoyable. read more

My daughter went in there to celebrate her 21st birthday. She drank a Mello PB&K. There was nothing in the description that stated it is made with peanuts. She had a severe allergic reaction since she is allergic to peanuts. I spoke to the manager who was upset. He let me speak to the owner who lamely said he was sorry and then sat silent. He didn't give any indication he would at least change the description nor did he even ask if she was OK . This is extremely irresponsible and dangerous. read more
