Our first stop in Chattanooga was, of course, the name sake brewery for the city. It was still fairly early in the afternoon on a Sunday so we were excited to see that they had the football games on the big screens. The bartender was kind enough to change one of the TVs to have the Lions game on so that I could enjoy my team while Ben enjoyed his team the Broncos playing. Sadly, they didn't have many beers of their own on tap while we were there so I just ordered a drink from their menu that sounded yummy. I also ordered their Poke. Wouldn't you know it, Ben suddenly became hungry once the food came out and looked delicious. I only shared a little because it was really good and he "wasn't hungry" before I made my choice. We didn't stay long as we wanted to get in as many breweries as possible before our flight out late that evening. read more

Beers were great! Strawberry Goza slaps. My husband had 2 different beers one that was great flavors and mouthfeel, the other one I wasn't a fan of, but he seemed to enjoy it. Brought our family here and our 9 month old flung half of my sandwich on the ground and they were beyond kind to make me a brand new sandwich, which was not at all necessary at all. The gals taking care of us were so kind and patient with our kiddos making mess. Lots of other families in here as well. Only down fall was there weren't any high chairs but understandable considering it's a brewery. Food was well executed with a balance of savory and acidity. Everything was veeeeery slow, considering how many people was in the restaurant (not a lot). They messed up my wife's order, when we told the staff that the beans were spoiled in our Nachos order we got "Ok" in response. We haven't had their beer, so maybe that's good. But please don't go here if you value yourself or your time. read more

We liked the prompt and pleasant service, and we loved the pimento cheese topped with bacon and served with pita points. My lovely bride raved about the blackberry lemonade mocktail. I really enjoyed their BLT sandwich - it was a little basic but the ingredients were quite good. We also tried the chicken nachos with jalapeños, and we wolfed them down. Surprised not to see a burger and fries on their menu, but we would definitely return. read more

Came here with a couple friends. It took a while to get seated, due to understaffing. But service was good overall, and they let us hang out past the posted 10 pm closing time. Chattanooga Brewing Co: the comprehensive review... My family and I came here after my long college tour to finish off our day in Chattanooga with a cozy meal. However, we left with little expectations met... Food: 2/5 Not that great. Was expecting some yummy grub but the flimsy paper menus only had a few meals that combined the same ingredients (bacon, tomato, lettuce, and meat) into different meals: salads, sandwiches...(but some pizzas and appetizers). No juicy burgers, wings, or savory french fries. I got a honey chicken wrap and it was disappointing.... Lunch meat thrown in a flavorless, stale pita with tomatoes on one half and bacon on the other: a hodgepodge of culinary disaster. Chips halfheartedly thrown on the side and a pathetic blight white Walmart ceramic plate instead of a pub style basket with paper. AND THE WAIT FOR THE FOOD WAS ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF AS WELL. But the pretzel bites were pretty tasty... I don't even think Chat. Brewing co makes them though, just a local bakery, which makes lots of sense. Service: 1/5 The waitress visited our table 4 times max. I didn't get a refill of my tiny plastic cup until the she brought out the check: ALSO makes sense. (I was SO thirsty after a long day too ) I also didn't get a napkin, but I didn't ask for one though. Vibes:2 /5 I already mentioned the plastic cups, cheap plates, and paper menus, which to some they might not be a big deal. It was cramped, but not in an aesthetic, "cozy" way. To an adult, it might be more hype because it's a brewery and has bar seating (my mom mentioned the beer selection being pretty sparse of her favorites), but it didn't seem like it had any passion or love for customers. New location is great. Super convenient for the downtown business lunch and beer. In the evenings, it's a perfect spot to hangout- comfortable and easy access to games in the Hotel Clemmons lobby/lounge. The beer is good not great, and the selection is a little limited for a brewery. I'd love more sessionable beers, especially an IPA below 6%. Regardless, it's more than adequate for a bar- just not quite a "taproom.". I'd probably drop by more frequently, if not for my only complaint. I've never seen more than one bar tender to take care of the whole place. One person bartends, waits on and busses tables. It's stressful to watch and the management needs to figure out it's a dumb move. I was with a small party a few nights ago and the bartender snapped at a buzzed patron. It was a misunderstanding, but clearly fueled by a very rushed staff. I'd recommend dropping by for a lunch if they look slow, but hold off on evenings or anything potentially busy until management figures out that more than one person is needed to serve an entire restaurant. read more

This was my favorite brewery we went to in Chatt. The beer was fantastic. I enjoyed the red ale and the soul reactor IPA. We did not get food, but a couple flatbread pizzas went by and they smelled really good. We were served by a girl with long dirty blonde hair- I didnt catch her name but she was awesome! Walked in and Sam was the bartender, the bar staff was busting their asses running around but Sam was able to stop and talk and socialize all while on her way out the door after she was off at 3 and this was 530. We sat for about 7 mins and as she was walking out she stopped and asked our order and serviced us then left. The only reason we will return is because of Sam, very sweet and welcoming. The beer was okay, service was poor due too lack of staff. Ordered a pretzel and it sat in the food window heat lamps for about 8 mins as we went to the restrooms and saw our pretzel waiting there. Solid spot for good beer & food! My husband and I stopped here halfway through a bike ride for food + drinks and we were not disappointed! We sat outside, where we were welcomed by the staff and served immediately. We ordered a couple of beers and fried okra to start - so good! Then, we decided to split the buffalo wrap with fries, which turned out to be plenty of food for the both of us. We must have sat there for two hours just enjoying the weather and ambiance. I had walked over from the Marriott to try a brewery that was close by. I stopped in around 8pm and started to look at the food menu. I was told the kitchen was about to close. I thought wow that's pretty early for a Thursday but they told me if I can pick something out really soon they will make it for me. I was glad that they extended that offer so I kept it simple. I ordered a BLT and some app with pimento cheese with a maple sauce. Both items can out very quickly and were excellent. There was a good selection for beers. I was able to try two different beers and they were good. I only wish this place stayed open later as I was informed they close at 9pm. . read more

A very quiet evening sitting upstairs in their "mezzanine." Great place! Good food and really amazing atmosphere... TVs to watch the game, game areas with plenty of space for cheering on your friends. We were there on a casual weeknight. The bartender and servers were so attentive and great in helping you choose the right brew and the food to dine on! The wings were KILLER good and the Burger & fries 5*! Not a bad beer on tap. We were walking from the market back to our car and happened to pop in for a flight and a sticker and ended up staying longer. The bartender was great. We ordered a flight to share and ended up loving all of them so we ordered a second flight so we could try the rest of the beers on tap. We also tried the cauliflower hummus. All were phenomenal!! Stumbled upon this hidden gem of a brewery! When arriving the parking does seem off-putting considering the construction and "no thru traffic" sign; however, there is a very large parking lot behind the establishment. Walking in I loved the outdoor space. It was a Wednesday night so there weren't very many people, but I could see it being very busy there. When we first walked in we were greeted and told the nightly specials.... including trivia night! We ended up ordering the strawberry sour and their only kolsch! I would highly recommend both drafts! They have a pretty wide selection of beers, but I was saddened that their light ale options were pretty limited. We also ordered 6 bone-in hot wings that tasted great! They were out of their okra bites which sounded great (if I go back I will be getting them)! They also gave us two glasses and a pitcher of water. We walked in and sat downstairs, but ended up moving upstairs. I highly recommend sitting upstairs. We were lucky enough to be the only ones upstairs!! We ended up playing darts for a while, but they have games galore! I highly recommend making a stop in if you have the chance! read more
