I then proceeded to head that way,I called again to let them know I was on my way (my pup was all but choking) she stated that was fine,just wait in your car! Umm,what? No! So I got there. She didn't even look at my pup who was critical! Crying in pain. She told me to wait in my car. I did. 2 hours later I asked her what could make this go faster my dog was critical. She then for Adleast the 5th time told me I'm welcome to go elsewhere but it would still take awhile. So on the 4th hour they called us in. Immediately asked for my $165 dollars. Got us in a room then said we don't have a scope here to check in her throat so if anything you'll have to go to Fresno. I said I called 3 times,I told you over 4 times why I was here you never said that. She then said why would we? I was livid. I could have just went to Fresno. Then she stated that it's not the receptionists job to tell me those things. My daughter had to calm me down. She takes my dog. The doctor comes in and says I think she has pneumonia I'll do x rays. She will be back with a guesstimate of the costs. $1800! I said she don't have pneumonia! Put her to sleep and take out the stickers stuck in her throat. 20 minutes later they pulled 3 stickers out of her throat and sent us home. $800 in the hole. Bottom line is there's no cost on my baby. But these people who claim to care about our pets do anything but that. Money! This veterinary service should be ashamed of themselves and I hope this helps someone else from going through this. Don't pay them unless they have the equipment to do the job! I love their new system that can text and email you reminders about your appointments and they use Otto Vet app in which you can view any upcoming appointments, pet info like vaccines, prescriptions, set up appointments and much more. I appreciate how gentle Dr. Eby and the RVT were at managing to hold the rabbits to be examined and give them their vaccines.

I appreciate that price estimates are offered on a scale of "low" and "high" estimates-accounting for different contingencies that might change how much any treatment or procedure might cost. I also appreciate that they offer different forms of pet insurance. This is not something I've looked into, but I am considering it. I can't speak to the dog side of things, but I'm grateful to find a place that doesn't return traumatized cats to me. While they will take a pet back without you for a quick vaccination or procedure, they almost always allow you to be present with your pet if you prefer that. As for specific staff, there isn't anyone that we request or would recommend....because everyone that we've worked with has shown this same level of kindness and compassion. During our time with this location, we have lost a few of our fur babies, including one to an aggressive form of cancer. While this broke our hearts, as we consider pets to be family, I am grateful for the staff who made our pet comfortable and gave us the space and time to say goodbye and to be with our pet until they crossed the rainbow bridge. The only negative that I have for this vet is that they are not open on the weekends or evenings, which means that I need to take time off work in order to schedule an appointment for my pets. This has on occasion resulted in a delay in their routine care, especially when work is busy and I can't get away during normal business hours. I understand that keeping the office staffed and opened extended hours is a business decision and has costs that may not justify such a change, but it sure would make this clinic more accessible for their customers.
