Juan's Mill Street is the best Mexican food around. We have tried several things from the menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Service is always warm and friendly. Inside it looks like your typical Mexican restaurant, but what's coming out of the kitchen is far beyond! read more

Absolute comfort spot. Everyone knows each other, clients openly visiting during visits. The menu is full of favorites. It's like visiting Grandmas house. The desserts always include one or two home made treasures that are seasonal!! I love that they serve breakfast all day! It's worthy of the lil extra drive. My son and I were out exploring and stopped in here for lunch. Both the food and prices were excellent! I enjoyed a tasty tenderloin and he tried his first ever chopped steak. Good home cooking! Talk about a hidden gem! My friends and I were on a road trip to Indianapolis and found this place on yelp. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. A couple of highlights were the Philly cheesesteak and they serve breakfast all day. Lucky for us the bar just opened! Def recommend! read more

Cruising I-69 and yearning for a good mom and pop diner. Used this app and found this somewhat out of the way place. It's a little further from the freeway than I normally would choose but I'm glad I did. As other reviews noted the portions are good and the prices were very good, especially for the delicious pie. My eggs were a little undercooked but the hash browns were perfect and the sausage patty was large and tasty. I forgot to take a picture of my breakfast but a nice senior couple sitting next to me let me shoot one of theirs. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did. read more

This establishment is by far the best little Mol and pop restaurant in the area. I enjoy eating here and get a kick out of seeing the people of Gaston, who are very nice, interact--they all know each other, and are really nice folk, gives me hope for humanity. The owner is really nice and quite good at cooking. It's ALWAYS fresh and always cooked with pride. My dad loves the burger. Their breakfasts are on target, my favorite is their hash browns, they accommodate me by cooking them just right with fresh chopped onions and bell peppers. Just stay away from the watery grits or the Mac and cheese--unless the owner cooks them, it is not worth your time. read more

Was eating with my whole team(30 people) including all four of our coaches. And i tell you this place is quick in and out in 1 hour for all 30 of us ill say this place has gooood breakfast for like 10$ i got some pancakes a muffin and ham for 10$ and it was well worth it. My husband and I have enjoyed a number of delicious, homecooked meals over the years at Mill Street Inn--often before or after biking the Cardinal Greenway. We've enthusiastically recommended it to friends with similar interests. But, due to an injury, it has been nearly a year since we've had the pleasure to return. Regrettably, we were quite disappointed when the opportunity finally afforded itself this evening. From first impression, the atmosphere has deteriorated: the lobby was dusty. The dining room--which we're accustomted to bustling--was nearly empty and needed mopping. Employees were unusually sullen and downcast; none offered a warm welcome. The updated menu lacked the dinner entrees we used to enjoy so much. My mushy stromboli, which had just a few tablespoons of loose meat and cheese, was seemingly microwaved until molten. Husband, who usually boxes up any leftovers, opted to leave his on the plate. I doubt very much that we will return. read more

This restaurant is in downtown Gaston, about 15 minutes from Muncie. This was our first time here. Nice, clean place with good , friendly service. Prices were very reasonable. We had the breaded tenderloin sandwiches. No complaints here. Very tasty. I asked and they have an all-day breakfast menu. They also serve Pizza King and Farmer John's Chicken. They have daily specials as well. See attached picture. We plan on going back and trying the breakfast menu as well as a few of the specials. Nice small town place! read more

We were in town for Taylor Homecoming / Family weekend. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Straight up breakfast fair, simple and priced right. Clean and the staff kept our coffee cups filled! Who could as for anything more? Definitely be back. read more

We hadn't been to Mill Street Inn in a looong time. When the previous owners had it the menu was large and out dated. The food was just ok. In desperate need to feed lots of people we would order to go from the pizza king menu. And even then the bread sticks and sauces were not pizza king. We were disappointed since we live so close. Last Friday I saw a recent review and some pictures posted by the new owner so we decided to try it out. We were NOT disappointed! The food was so good! The new owner has a special menu for smoked meats. We decided to try out the smoked items and they were delicious! The philly cheesesteak and smoked turkey were tender and juicy. The sauce with the turkey was peppery and flavorful. I gave 4 stars because we only tried the two items but we will definitely be back!! Try them out you will not be disappointed! (Not pictured were the pretzel sticks with cheese we had as an appetizer. They were cooked perfectly and we ate them before I thought to get a picture) read more

A small town atmosphere. I got the special, which was the beef Manhattan. It was surprisingly good and the portion size was pretty big for the price. The side salad was good, as well. For the price, it was a great value for lunch. read more

My husband & I called at 7:30 to ask if they still had plenty of fish on a Friday. We were told they had catfish and frozen cod fillets. I said ok and that we'd be there in a few and the lady said ok cya soon. We live right down the road from the Mill in Gaston so we got in the truck and was there at 7:50pm. Since we live in Gaston and have given them our business many many times & more often get take out over the years we have been so disappointed with the food since new management bought it from the original owners. The chicken & noodles are bland and the pizza is not up to the "Pizza King" standards. Like I said before we have gotten take out often and when the new owner has answered and taken my order he was short and very rude to me but my biggest complaint came the night we went into the Mill to have a nice sit down dinner and as my husband went into the restroom and I sat down the waiter came over to me and told me that they stopped serving in the dining room at 7:45pm. I told him the I had just called and nothing was said to me about this new policy. He was very nice and went back to ask if he could serve us and the new owner passed by the server window took one look at me and started yelling so loud that the whole restaurant could hear him. He yelled that I was blind and couldn't see the hours posted on the door and why does he have these policies if no one can follow them!!! I was so embarrassed and then got upset when the nice waiter came back to tell me that it would be okay to serve us. I immediately got up and said never mind and used a few curse words to let him know I would never ever be ordering from his restaurant again. His response was "good and get the F out"!! This is not how you run a business and certainly not treat a valued frequent customer especially since the food has gone way down in value and portions. If you plan on going to this restaurant expect poor pricey food but nice service read more
