We came in at 7:00 PM on Saturday night. Four Generals is in easy walking distance of anywhere downtown! It was easy to get to. It is small and laid back-there is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, and they have a free library. It was very chill. I had never been here so I ordered a flight to get to know them. I chose three and had the person working there choose one for me. My new favorite beer is the Rauches Helles-this is a unique beer! It was light and smoky-I am definitely getting a growler of this in the future. I loved everything on my flight, even though I had a clear favorite. The moon berries was not too sweet, and I enjoyed the red ale and kolsch. Their beers are solid. I had a ball here-this is a comfortable spot to have a quick brew or stay for an hour or two. I'm a big fan!

This place is GREAT. 1. They make beer. .... What? You need more? ... okay... *cough*needy*cough* ... 2. They're a brewery that server OTHER breweries beers, so they know what's good and are willing to serve it. 3. Free wifi! 4. It's a rare day that there isn't a dog present. 5. Their bathroom is alien and spartan friendly! (Aka, they haven't the shit to give about the state or orientation of your genetalia). 6. Turquoise & grey bathroom means they have killer taste. 7. Mr. Bill. 8. They have a holding cell.... no seriously. 9. You can count to nine, so you have the brainpower to enjoy.

    Cozy brewery and chill.

Chill place to kickback for a good brew. Small but cozy with nice staff. No foos though

Winter bock....finally found what were looking for.

This is the spot for us! They had Winter bock beer, I had already peeped this place out, it was on our list to go to while we were there. And it didn't disappoint us. It's a very small brewery, I don't think 25 people will fit in here. The bartender was cool, she said, that they only keep a couple of the IPA's on tap, but that's only to keep the IPA drinkers happy. The crowd that was there was cool, someone in the group made a bunch of cookies, and shared it with us. And the Winter Bock was on point! I wasn't totally in the conversation with her and my husband, but I think she also talked about Maibock! She was talking our language! We will ALWAYS come here when we go to Seattle.

I don't have a bad thing to say. -Great selection of beer, ciders, and sours! -Games & books for entertainment; or plenty of space for wonderful conversation. -Bartender was patient, attentive, and kind. -Location: Downtown Renton; fun place to walk around. -Indoor & Outdoor seating: -Outside heaters were a total WIN for me.

Nice open patio, tables made from wood cuts are lovely. Good beer-both had Vienna Amber. Friendly staff and friendly patrons!

Four Generals Brewing is another fine example of my theory that downtown Renton is really up and coming. They're slowly but surely getting some really cool spots to hang out! Four Generals is suuuuper chill (like most breweries). It's rather small but it's perfect for coming by for a few beers, or a flight! Another bonus - they're kid friendly and dog friendly. There weren't any kids while we were there, but there were several big dogs which we thought was awesome. They've got board games as well, so if you've got time to kill, that's an option! Both my boyfriend and I ended up getting a flight, which was at a great price - $8 for four 4 oz pours. I don't remember all of the beers I tried, but they were all really good. I'm super glad we stopped by here on our date night and am looking forward to coming back in the future!

    Flight o beers!

Very cute little spot in downtown Renton with great beer. The bartender, who I also assume is the owner was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their beer. We ordered a flight of 4 of their brews and the bartender gave us pretzels to cleanse our palates. The West Coast Style IPA did the trick for me. There are quite a few gems in downtown Renton if you really look hard and try to find them and Four General's Brewing is one of them. We will be back.

Best beer on the Eastside. Great staff. It's my favorite east-side brewery by far.

Dedicated to Oktoberfest! German lagers, ales and ambers. Not your typical selection of craft beer but they are excellent.

She has been going on and on about this "Fire Breather" burger for a bit. First things first, exceptionally clean and friendly place. Seated quickly and very attentive to us and the rest of the patrons there. Broad selection of food and adult beverages. Breakfast till 1:00 pm on Sat/Sun so it was hard for me to decide what I wanted as I had my mind set on the "Pub Club" but noticed that they had Chicken Fried Steak, oh the choices.... Not disappointed on the "Pub Club" it was Yumi! It was full of all the things that make a "Club Sandwich", the kicker was it had "pepper bacon" on it! My sandwich was piled with meat cheese, tomato, and lettuce. Now this is where it gets interesting, I added some of the aforementioned "Fire Breather Sauce" to it, just a bit. It is freakin Habanero Pepper Mayo(ish) sauce, WOW or should I say YEOW! Not just hot but exploding with flavor. As stated, my lunch partner had the "Fire Breather" burger w/ added Pepper Bacon and Avocado. It was more than a mouth full of dripping yum. Meat done perfectly, nice fresh avocado, thick pieces of pepper bacon done to perfection. After seeing and eating the pepper bacon I decided to take home a BLTA with cheddar cheese. The onion rings were some of the best I have had in a while. Beer was cold and wet! Overall, a great meal and you will too. The words of the day today are "Pepper Bacon"

The staff is very friendly, as always. Our server gave us great recommendations! We love the atmosphere here, very casual, no pressure to rush. Breakfasts came out fast. Our server recommended the corned beef hash. It had bits of corned beef. I tried the Fiesta Scramble. Nice thick sourdough toast. The scramble was tasty. It came with jo-jo type potatoes (which are not a fav). Hubs got chicken fried steak. He's a bit of a connoisseur and said it was decent. This was a nice low key spot for weekend breakfast. It is 21+ only.

Plus, lots of free parking (huge win for DT Renton). The space itself is quirky in the best way -- cozy, charming, and just feels good to be in. We ordered the Crispy Pork Shank and WOW. So tender and flavorful, and that creamy mushroom orzo + rosemary cream combo is unreal. Also had the Bleu Cheese & Caramelized Onion Steak Frites -- perfectly cooked, rich, and super satisfying with those fries. Drinks were on point too -- solid beer on tap and a really good Cabernet. We were immediately intrigued because it is a popular recommended spot, and it has a genuinely warm, welcoming atmosphere since the restaurant is inside an actual house. Our server was wonderful, being very patient and giving us great recommendations since it was our first time. We ended up ordering the Korean chicken wings along with a special they were running: a cranberry brie sandwich with sweet potato fries. We also both ordered their raspberry mule, which paired well with the meal. Because we enjoyed everything so much, we decided to get dessert. Tip: make sure you ask what the options are, as we couldn't find them on the menu. Overall, this was a great dinner spot. There is plenty of parking right out front, and everyone we met during our stay was kind and respectful. I will definitely be coming back during the summer!
