i went into bagel bros cafe expecting a bagel, not a full scale social experiment. the place smelled fantastic, the coffee was hot, and the bagel actually had the correct amount of cream cheese, which is somehow becoming a lost art. the staff were friendly without doing that fake overly enthusiastic thing that makes you wonder if they're about to ask you to download an app. i appreciated that. then everything took a turn. a pigeon somehow wandered into the lobby and immediately started acting like it had an online order. nobody wanted to be the first person to acknowledge the pigeon because once you acknowledge the pigeon, you're now involved with the pigeon. i'm trying to enjoy my coffee while this bird is inspecting people like a health inspector who works exclusively for other pigeons. eventually the pigeon perched on an empty box and everyone silently accepted that he was waiting with us. that's society now, i guess. through all of this complete insanity, the employees stayed calm, someone gently guided the bird back outside, and nobody spilled my coffee. honestly, that level of composure deserves some recognition. the bacon egg and cheese bagel was fresh, the bacon was perfectly cooked, and the coffee kept coming without anyone making a production out of it. i left full, entertained, and slightly concerned that the pigeon probably earned reward points before i did. if this is what breakfast here is always like, i almost don't want them to change anything. five stars for the food, five stars for the service, and one honorary star for the pigeon, who clearly believes he's the regional manager of bagel bros cafe. read more

Disappointing experience at Bagel Bros this morning. I went in with higher hopes given the bagel competition in the area but this place was expensive with a lack luster selection. We went in at around 12:30pm on Sunday, so past the breakfast rush. The staff felt overwhelmed and it still took 15 or so minutes just to get our bagels. My husband got a BLT which only had 2 pieces of bacon, a little crazy for a $10+ price point. I'd recommend skipping this place, very generic choices and price points where you'd expect much better quality. read more

There aren't many bagel shops around Clermont, but Bagel Bros Cafe helps satisfy the cravings. The staff is great and very friendly. We ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese, a plain bagel with cream cheese, and a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese (aka Pork Roll) sandwich. Our order came out surprisingly fast, ready within 5 minutes when it typically takes about 10+ minutes. The bagel texture was just okay. I was slightly disappointed with my Taylor ham sandwich because it didn't have that crunch or grilled taste, suggesting it wasn't cooked to order. The egg also tasted like it had been pre-cooked, explaining the quick turnaround time. This might be great if you're in a rush, but I prefer my sandwich made to order. The jalapeño bagel and jalapeño cream cheese are AMAZING! I could eat the jalapeño cream cheese on its own with a spoon. The chocolate chip cookies are really good too. Pop them in the microwave to soften up the chocolate chunks and grab a cold glass of milk and you have a nice little snack later in the day. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about the different types of bagels and don't mind answering question you have. The store is nice and clean,the menu has a lot to choose from and the prices are reasonable. We will be back to check out more items and possibly lunch next time. read more

Bagel Bros. Cafe is located in a strip mall just west of Hancock Road in Clermont, Florida. The staff was friendly and professional and the place had your typical bagel shop vibe. Bagel Bros. Cafe is a good place to grab a bagel for breakfast and I would definitely recommend this establishment. So, if you're from the ny/nj area you all know there isn't a good bagel place in Florida. This being said I tried bagel bros cafe, and I think they did a great job with their bagels. The taste was there. The texture was there. The crunch was there. I did go at the end of the day right before closing time, and I have to say they were really good even being the last batch of the day they were slightly stale, but still a great bagel. Great place to stop! I was visiting my family when I happened to see the sign. It was somewhere between breakfast and lunch and I thought to myself hmmmmm. I am hungry but it's to early for lunch, I might see what they have. The customer service was Excellent. I decided to go up and a bagel with cream cheese a slice of the chocolate cake and one red velvet chocolate chip cookie. In fact it turned out I made an excellent choice.. i chose the egg bagel with cream cheese. It had a slightly crisp outside with a nice soft texture inside. There wasn't a large selection of bagels this time around but in BB's defense I went in pretty late so I chose to have an onion bagel with sausage, egg and cheese and a slight smear of cream cheese. The bagel was delicious and fresh and that sausage was HUGE! I ordered a delicious sugar free caramel latte. To be completely transparent it didn't taste like a latte because it was a bit light but reminded me of a Café con Leche (I'm Cuban) and brought me back to my time in Miami when I was younger. I really wish that they would up their coffee game. If they scale down their menu they would downsize their overhead in inventory costs and then are able to focus on their bagel expertise and expand into the coffee scene that everyone in Clermont seems to be into. To each their own though. What I loved was the friendly banter amongst the staff. It was comical and made me feel like I was back at home where everything is family ran. The place looked clean although one of the employees made a comment about the front lobby floor being dirty (it didn't appear that way to me though). I love that their cash register machine doesn't request a tip on the front end and instead allows for you to place it on the paper receipt like us old folks used to do it back in the day. read more

Second time in and had a great experience. It is a little confusing on where to order but if you look around enough, you will see the sign above the cash registers that say "Order Here". The place is very busy but they were spitting out orders left and right. It wasn't this quick when I came in the last time so improvements were made. They are very generous with the cream cheese on the bagels which is nice. We tried the Weds breakfast special for $5.99. Its a great value and comes with your choice of bagel, egg, cheese and meat (sausage, bacon or ham). In additions. You get a pastry (today it was a cinnamon twist) and an orange juice from the fridge. My son had the pancake combo for $11.99. 3 massive, fluffy pancakes, eggs (any style), sausage and home fries. The sausage patty is huge and basically is the size of a bagel so it works perfectly in the breakfast sandwiches so you get sausage in every bite. I haven't tried the lunch sandwiches yet but plan to do so soon. So many choices and a great value. read more

Great local spot for all of your takeout breakfast needs! Everything is made to order so the wait depends on how busy they are so be patient or call in your order. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the lox bagel. Steak, egg and cheese bagel, and an omelette, which comes with a bagel and breakfast potatoes. A full hearty meal. Everything was super fresh and savory. The wait was about 15 min, which wasn't an issue for me. Everything is reasonably priced and the menu is easy to follow. Can't wait to return. read more

Unfortunately this place suffers from bad customer service. From the manager (female) or owner, down to the pudgy counter clerk. They have an attitude and act like the customer should know their menu!! They answer your questions with attitude as if you are bothering them!! Then, I don't understand why they close so early, if you have to pay rent for the whole month!! But if you are going to advertise that you are open until 2pm, then why say @ 1:30pm, we can't do French Fries, we can't do this or that, the grill is closed ( at 1:30pm !!!) Has happened to me several times. You might as well just close the doors @ 1:30pm. Either you are open or closed, this we are getting ready to close in half an hour is bullshit. The food is good and the prices are reasonable, but they make up their profit by not including all of your items. The past 3 orders have been missing items. We're done. You need to call their phone number 352.988.5051 at least a dozen times before someone picks up and their mailbox has always been Full so you can't leave a voicemail. When we actually reached someone at the store and asked for the manager, she was pissy and said that our Door Dasher stole the food lol. She was clearly lying because she went into way to much detail about how this happens a lot with them. We order from Door Dash daily and have never heard of such a thing. Bagel Bros is a hole in the wall I'm glad I discovered. I will preface this review by mentioning, this place gets really busy, and the shop itself is tiny. Be conscious of this ahead of time, or try calling in to order ahead. Every Saturday we've gone it's about 20-30 minute ordeal to grab our two bagel breakfast sandwiches. With that being said, however, the wait is well worth it in my opinion. The bagels are super fresh. There are a ton of options for bagels to choose with your sandwich or cream cheese spread. We usually opt for the bacon egg and cheese breakfast bagels and they have yet to disappoint. They have some other breakfast options but we haven't ventured to try those out just yet. I usually get the Asiago bagel and the Everything bagels. Always made fresh to order and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and always acknowledge people making sure they have what they need. Id love to see this shop add a more robust coffee offering, as of now I believe they just offer standard drip coffee and a nespresso type offering, so although it's convenient in a pinch, to have a more sophisticated coffee offering along with these delicious bagels I'm sure this place would be even more successful. Overall, if you are willing to set aside all the small inconveniences and are looking to get a fresh and delicious bagel, this is the place to go in Clermont! read more

Bagel Bros Cafe started out strong and after several weeks seem to have fizzled out. Unfortunately on my last three visits my order was presented incorrect or the bagels were not as good as before. On today's visit I ordered three everything bagels with egg, sausage and cheese, four bagels with cream cheese and two slices of coffee cake. The breakfast bagels were made fresh and taste good but three out of the four toasted bagels had either the wrong bagel flavor or cream cheese on it. One of the two pieces of coffee cake was incorrect and taste like it was stored in a refrigerator and took on that distinct flavor. The entire meal felt like a bust and a waste of over $40.00. After three bad experiences in as many weeks I am going to avoid the restaurant for awhile and see if they improve. read more

A new bagel place? Whoohoo! I went one morning and stood in line with the rest of the crowd. I just wanted a baker's dozen and some schmear. I will say, get there earlllly. The didn't have a ton of choices left so my selection was rather limited. We got the smear with lox and cream cheese. A little too much texture for my taste so I blended it all together when I got home and that seemed to work better for the family. Overall it was good and I'd try them again. A little sad on the lack of counting and my baker's dozen was only 11, despite me asking 3 times if that was 13 and 3 people saying it was. It was busy, I'll give them that. We bought a half dozen bagels and a pumpkin muffin after only waiting about ten minutes on a Saturday morning. The muffin was pretty good, but in all honesty a lot of the bagels we got seemed like they weren't very fresh. The Asiago ones were decent, but the onion and everything bagels were super dense and a bit burned on the outside. I waited in line inside it was a Sunday around Noon. I ordered half dozen Everything bagels to take home they looked great and were nice and big. Well once I got home I was so disappointed I am used to really good Bagels usually get them from Einstein Bagels which are wonderful. These bagels were awful they were on the hard side and very chewy the flavor was average but the bagels were terrible. Do not waste your Money go to Publix and get some Thomas's Bagels they are much better or even go to Panera they are better than these bagels.
