It's been over five years since we last tried an Asian buffet, but we had heard really great things about the Four Seasons Chinese Buffet in Covington, so we gave it a whirl for a Thursday lunch. Four Seasons has a stylish, contemporary persona that hints at a more upscale experience than you might have expected. Service was extremely efficient, with a sincere, welcoming spirit that was noteworthy. The food was really excellent and clearly a cut above the average buffet fare. They feature great salad and desert bars and a vast array of all the standard Asian dishes, with a special focus on seafood, shrimp, and gulf favorites. American staples are available also, as is a really fine sushi selection that was head and shoulders better than any I have ever seen at a buffet venue. Y'all know I'm always raving over these guys, but it just gets better every time. One of the owners (Ken today) always gets me some fresh-out-da-oil chicken wings when I come for a visit...and let me tell you, as a chicken wing aficionado, these are some of the best I've ever had. You get that delicious hit of the 5-spice, the crispy and crunchy coating is perfectly done, and the wings are fire-hot when they hit the table. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, pun intended, but fried chicken is my jam and this is fantastic stuff. Everything else on the bar is good, with lots of jalapenos to be had with whatever dish you select...try the onion shrimp, the thai chicken, (OF COURSE THE WINGS), or anything on the bar - I haven't been disappointed in a single item over the years we've been coming here to say hi to friends and enjoy some good eating. read more

Nice selection of Chinese dishes. Sushi selection hit or miss, but for buffet sushi, it's good. Buffet tables are clean, and food is appropriate temperatures and refilled often. read more

Wife and I stopped in for lunch while visiting Covington. Very good Chinese food staples. Coconut shrimp, honey chicken, lo mein, and sesame chicken were our favorites. The seafood (fried/boiled shrimp, boiled crawfish) was lacking, but overall a good meal for the price. read more

I visited this place for dinner early on a Saturday evening. It's a Chinese buffet.. everything was fine. They even had plenty of crawfish on the buffet if that's your thing. Waitress was attentive and it was a nice, quiet place to enjoy some good Chinese. I will be back. read more

It's a buffetnothing fancy. The selection is limited so your usual Chinese options. There is Sushi available which is a nice option, but still not an upscale restaurant. This is our go-to buffet for after-school-and-in-a-hurry. The location is SUPER convenient, right off of the Interstate, and the dining area is always clean. Super friendly staff that is constantly checking the food at the buffet & changing it for fresh food. This is one of my favorite buffets in the area. Buffets get a bad name but I feel like a lot of them get overlooked. Since covid is going on right now, you sanitize you hands them put on gloves each time you go get food. This place had so much variety. I'm a chicken lover and there was sesame chicken, mandarin chicken, sweet and sour chicken, honey chicken, Thai chicken, chicken and broccoli, general chicken, jalapeño chicken, and teriyaki chicken! I was in chicken heaven. It's clean. The staff is nice. The lo mein had a nice wok flavor. Even the fried catfish was yummy. 12.99 per adult for dinner which isn't bad at all. To start this place is number one for chinese/asian buffets ive been to many around Metairie but today happened upon this place the staff are great and the boiled seafood is too notch perfectly seasoned unlike the rest it has a mask requirement . you are also required to wear gloves provided by the restaurant the sushi is great and at a reasonable price. read more

Haven't eaten here in several years. Went with a friend and it's ok. Not really sure if I will go back unless invited again. Restaurant looks clean, food is OK. Men's restroom is just about as bad as it could be. 2 sinks, only 1 works. Urinal is broken and labeled so. Two stall toilets have to be used. Just as filthy as the worst gas station. Restrooms have not been updated to match restaurant. Owner obviously doesn't think restroom is important. Consistently good buffet style Chinese restaurant. Friendly attentive staff and servers who really seem to be happy that you are there. Lots of seafood that is well prepared and no additional charges for the seafood either. Good salad and fruit bar and a good though limited sushi bar as well. High quality ice cream for dessert not cheap soft serve and a nice selection of other sundries as well. Took a ride to north shore to try this place. Really enjoyed our meal. The place was very clean, friendly staff. My friend really enjoyed the crabs. They will big and full of meat. Food wasn't that bad but when we went to leave the waitress was trying to force us to tip her! We never tip on card we always do cash but she was rushing us I couldn't even get the money out of my purse before she started getting pisses that there was a zero in the tip line. I have always liked this restaurant since we moved here to the north shore. Food is always fresh and HOT, they are always wiping down the food area, cleaning, and replacing foods. I had the worst experience here and it all is because of the Manager named Steve. His Customer Service skills are extremely poor. His demeanor towards minorities is condescending and disrespectful. The waitress was superb but I will never eat at this establishment again. I only spend my hard earned money at establishments who respect my dollar.
