The food was unbelievably good. If you can see from the picture, I didn't even have time to take a picture of my food before I ate it because it was so amazing. And the sushi bar was phenomenal.This place's sushi was fresh and tasty, and had much variety. The owners were very speedy with picking up the plates after we were done eating, not one plate was left on the table after we finished. They were very accommodating. I am very satisfied with the service and the scenery. It was a nice temperature, the music was soothing, and the people inside of the restaurant all had manners and spoke with their quiet voices. Also, the owners are very amazing with kids. I personally do not have kids, but whenever a child and the child's mother came into the building, he greeted both of them and set them down. And the owner started talking to the kid in a baby voice about what the kid wanted to drink. It was the sweetest thing ever. Also, I have never seen any other buffet walk around and stir their food like this place does. They make sure to stir the food periodically so that way it doesn't sit for too long and get nasty. This is our first time to eat here, and also our last time. First of all, according to the price and the dishes, the food at this price is not the best, but the taste is the best. It is cheap and convenient. It is really great to eat without cooking at home. Everything here is perfect, but the attitude of the service is really disappointing. First of all, we are Chinese and should be from the same city. The waiter thought that we could not speak the language of the same city and said behind our backs that we ate too much. From the time we came in to the end, I simply estimated that the price of 1 pound of crayfish was five dollars when it was expensive. We ate a total of more than two plates, which should be about two and a half plates, which should be less than 1 pound. The total cost is probably less than five dollars. We took 8 shrimps and 1 crab, which is not much money here. The point is that there are 3 of us, not one person, but they said in our city's language behind our backs that we ate too much and complained behind our backs. We heard it and were shocked and disappointed. The three of us did not eat much at all. Although the service attitude was extremely poor, we still gave more than 20% tip when we left. Yum!! I used to eat at this buffet in 2012 and I was surprised to see it's still there. There are many dishes which are excellent whether it be from a buffet or even regular restaurant. A couple of my favorites:. The shrimp and jalapenos has good, fresh little shrimp; the large boiled shrimp and boiled crawdads (apparently I'm the only one left who still calls em CRAWDADS btw cuz they didn't even hardly know what i meant at the seafood store but anyway), crab meat and cheese cake.... The service is awful! The waiters and waitresses have little or no communication with the diner, and are very inattentive. I get it's a buffet, but the service is amongst the worse we've experienced anywhere! All the wait staff seems concerned with are their tips! We usually aggressively tip, but the service has become so bad we didn't even tip this past visit. Why? The waitress had the nerve to return the payment tray and ask for a tip. She did not even once pick up our plates, refill our beverages, or check to see if we needed anything! So no tip! Tips are earned, not an entitlement! We've heard from others who have had this same experience recently. I wish the owners and management would properly train the waiters and waitresses on restaurant service and how to treat the customers. We regularly visit this restaurant before catching a movie. The buffet provides chinese food, but also has local dishes like crab, crawfish and bread pudding. We love the sushi bar that has a great variety. The decor could use an update and air vents need to be cleaned as dust has accumulated and may fall down.
