Super impressed with this place. I've never had a shop do such a consistently great job with my fills. I normally have to get a fill every two weeks, but it's been lasting me three, even four weeks since I've been coming here. I'm a little neurotic when it comes to my nails, and they always get the shape perfect and consistent, acrylic is never thick and chunky and it's just quality work. I have been going here for about 3 months now and can say that I am satisfied with the quality and price for being in Chicago! I usually go bi-weekly and get an acrylic fill with no- chip polish and a pedicure. I never have to wait and always have beautiful nails. Would recommend to anyone in the River North area. read more

I was in desperate need for my nails to be done for a weekend trip. I had walked around to 3 different shops and finally found Helen here! I asked for almond shaped acrylics and that's excatlt what I got. She paid attention to detail and asked me after each stepped if I liked the shape and style! I was in Chicago on vacation and desperately needed my nails done. We didn't get to our hotel until 7:30 and most salons were closing at 8. I called Four Seasons Nails Spa to see if they could get me in and they did. They were not annoyed all that I was coming in right before closing time, and the lady that did my gel manicure really took her time and ended up staying 45 minutes after close. I will admit it was a longer manicure than what I am used to, but my nails looked great after! Also, they are a lot cheaper than other salons in the Chicago area. read more

I had a horrible time getting a no chip manicure. I was told it would take 45min and it took a little over a hour. Then I came back three days later because the side of one thumb nail cracked. I asked should I be worried about the others and she said no. The very next day I went back in because the other thumb cracked in two places and this time they sprayed glue on the nail and didn't clean it up after. Choose another place!!! read more

This is the best nail shop I have been to in a VERY LONG TIME!!! The message chairs are to die for , they have an awesome color selection , Opi and Essie Zola are among the bands they offer. They were quick and efficient and the shop was extremely clean. Now let's get to my nails..... They nailed it!!!!! I came in with a mess, I needed a fill in and a cut down , I usually never get my nails cut down because the tech never gets my shape right but these ladies did!! NOT A LICENSED NAIL SALON, I called IDPFR after receiving the worst manicure and there is no license for this business name and address. I returned and asked to see the business License and the license of the young lady who did my nails. I was told "NO". After explaining Illinois requires them to display their License, they became angry. I did notice a random License behind the desk but it's for a different business and address. I'm assuming they were hoping no one would look very hard at it. read more

I can't be sure if it was just the person I got but it's probably been the worst manicure I've ever had. I've never had someone just not care about keeping the paint on my actual nail and then go back to try and clean everything up. I also had to have the girl go back and refile my nail because she left it at a clear slant. This place is pretty good and has a large color selection. I went in for a no chip and eye brow wax. Both services I was very pleased with. The reason I am not giving five stars is because I wanted to add a tip to the card and said cash only... AFTER I had my services done. They told me there are atms a block away. Unfortunately I wasn't trying to leave there, go to an ATM and come back. They would get MUCH better tips and more tips if they'd allow their customers to add tip to the card. I came for an after work acrylic fill because my usual place was all booked up. I was sat down immediately, but the tech they sat me with didn't know how to use the acrylic tools. After 20 min of her struggling, i was switched to someone who was a pro. Only reason not 5 stars was that this caused my appointment to be 80 minutes- not the best way to spend my evening. Four Seasons is relatively new (2+ months or so), but I'm already hooked. $26 for a pedicure makes that part easy. Where they go above and beyond is service. I came in for my regular pedicure today, and I mentioned that I needed one of my no-chip nails fixed after I broke the nail and the manicure came with it. Key to this story: I didn't get the manicure done at Four Seasons. Not only did they take the time to carefully fix my broken/chipped nail, they also applied a new topcoat to all of my other nails to make the no-chip last another week. All of this, and when it came time to settle up, I was only charged for the pedicure. I asked, are you sure? And they responded, hey, you're a neighbor. It was easy to fix and we like seeing you. I've only been to this salon three times, total. Based on that experience, the reasonable prices, and the quality pedicures, I'll be back -- for my manicures too now! read more

I've been coming here since April 2017 since it's so close to my job. With that being said I've been coming pretty consistently on a weekly basis. You would think they'd know my name by now. They don't. They don't do a horrible job but I do feel like the job is rushed sometimes even when it's not a lot of people just so they can get back on their phone. I haven't tried the he no chip manicure here but we'll see how it goes and I will leave an update. The pricing is honestly what keeps me coming back. $40 for a mani and pedi isn't bad. I personally feel like they know just enough English to get your money because when I ask basic questions some of the staff have a hard time answering me. Everytime I leave no one really says much either. Anything along the lines of have a good day or thank you. Poor relationship skills. All in all a decent salon but be aware you get what you pay for. read more

Bad experience. I went with 3 girlfriends after work after another co-worker suggested it. We had appts, but they only had 2 nail technicians ready when we got there, 2 of us just waited. They rushed through our mani's and did a meh job, especially for $18! One of my nails is already chipping. After paying, one of the girls I was with noticed she only paid $15 while the rest of us paid $18. When we pointed it out and asked why, they said it costs more to pay with a card (even though we all paid with cards). Then they tried to ask the girl who only paid $15 for the other $3 they forgot to charge her! We said no and proceeded to leave. Overall they just didn't seemed like they cared and did a poor job. read more

Went in for a standard no chip yesterday with natural long beautiful nails. Came out with a bloody finger gushing from a cut into my cuticle and other nails weak and cracking from a rough removal. I have since had to cut all of my nails off because the removal was so careless that one of the nails was torn and others fairly damaged. I warned the technician to slow down be gentler and careful not to crack my nails. I not only received that but a bloody finger to boot. I walked out the salon when my finger was bleeding badly with no no chip. My fingers are still sore today! Never returning. Sad and super disappointing. I've never ever had such a rough experience at other salons! read more

This salon is right behind my apartment and often an easy go-to for me. While most of the women working there are friendly and do a fairly good job, a recent addition to the team, Addi, makes me want to find a new spot. She was rude, rushed everything, was very inconsistent with how she did my nails (crooked nails, uneven polish, nails coming out to different colors). I was most concerned with her attitude though- when I asked questioned her on which color was darkest (the customer she worked with before me had one of the colors), she got mad at me for questioning it and told me "I guess it depends on your eyes." (PS the color she told me was darker was absolutely not darker, and so now I'm dissatisfied with the color as well.) When I went back the next morning to fix some of the nails, such as the obviously bumpy and streaky ones and one that was dented (which is impressive for no-chip), she appeared angry with me and told me I need to make appointments earlier in the day rather than coming after work. I'm so frustrated with this experience that I'm not sure if I'm going to come back for fear of having to work with her again. I feel like this was a wasted $60 and am considering redoing the manicure, which was for my engagement pictures and therefore fairly important, somewhere else. read more
