Cool modern spot, there are numerous types of claw machine games along the wall opposite the dining area. The lighting and decor is innovative, I dig their different approach. The staff is polite and efficient, greeted us, and explained their order process. I asked if my chicken quesadilla appetizer can be brought out before our entrees and they arranged it. It tasted great, I tried bites with ranch and some with this orange sweet/sour sauce, LOVED it. I also had the shrimp with zucchini noodles dish, it has great flavor. It comes with a good amount of broth in the bowl but I'd prefer to have much less. It's not as appealing with a lot in there, and can remove flavor from the shrimp. Overall, very tasty dish. Classic bento box was great, filet meat was well done, nice big serving of meat with grilled onions, salad dressing was Italian ( we did not get a choice of salad dressing) with two chicken egg rolls, and big serving of streamed white rice. Shrimp and pork egg rolls were a hit, and tasted a lot better than the chicken egg rolls. We ordered a side of fries with no seasoning and they were great! Family enjoyed the claw machines, except my kids were a bit disappointed that it was so hard to win...the claw machines in China town Houston are a lot easier to win prizes. However, if you order $50 worth of tokens you get 3 free items behind the cashier register. If you order $20 worth of tokens you get 1 free item. I really enjoyed my first dinner at Wrap and Roll. The interior was cute and the menu offered a lot of options from splurgey calorie wise to health conscious. And everything was under 20 bucks. Our waiter was very friendly and answered the multiple questions that I had with patience. I chose a zoodle bowl with ribeye. It arrived quickly. It was hot and delicious. I have been a loyal Wrap & Roll fan since they came into the Pearland food scene. The OG location is closer to my house, but I decided to come out and check out their newest location on the East side of Pearland, almost Friendswood. They took over another restaurant and did a great job renovating and making it their own. It is a night and day difference from their first location which is way smaller. This location is pretty large, has a modern look and some IG worthy picture spots for those that are into that. They also have a whole area in the back dedicated to a bunch of those claw machines that seems to be the craze these days. They saw me snapping pics and came and brought me some tokens to try it out. I didn't win, but I appreciate the excellent customer service. Over the years, I've tried alot of their menu. What Wrap & Roll is about is Asian Fusion and they do it really well. They do things like Spreggrolls which is an eggroll inside a spring roll. They do items like wraps, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and fries but with Asian flavors. If you want something more traditional, they have that too. My tried and true go to is their Ultimate Fried Rice though. They don't have their own website but it's not on every menu through ordering sites. I usually just call in my order This Ultimate Fried Rice will feed a small army. Ok, more like one person for about 3 or 4 meals, or a small family once. I got it to go and this bag was heavy. Its a massive service of fried rice, topped with all their popular meats like filet mignon, grilled chicken, shrimp, pork, and sweet sriracha chicken. Then they top it with an egg blanket. It's gotta weigh about 4 or 5 pounds. They're not just throwing stuff together, but they're also making sure every single item is full of flavor. There's not one thing they put in that is a miss. Overall, another great meal here. I was worried that once they started expanding to multiple other locations that they would lose it's charm and consistency, but they seem to still be killing it. I've been a fan of the original location on the other side of Pearland since I was a child, and I couldn't be more excited that they opened another location closer to my house. The staff here are so nice, the claw machines provide a fun atmosphere, and the food is still as delicious as the other location. The portions this place gives are ginormous, especially when you order take-out. My favorite thing to order is the International Box. Both the eggrolls and the fries are super crispy, and the chicken in the giant quesadillas is super flavorful. This box serves as two meals for me! My family also likes to order the Honey Spinach Chicken Fried Rice. The amount of chicken and rice they serve you is unreal, and it's super delicious. How in the world can people say "service was great"? There is NO SERVICE PEOPLE. You order at the counter, get your own drink, bring your condiments, folks, knives and napkins to the table yourself. We had no plates, asked the girl behind the counter she brought us plates that were covered in grease. I am dead serious. When asked for other plates she brings back more dirty ones and gives us a dirty look. We ate without plates. Some food was good, egg rolls and lettuce wraps. The rice SUCKED, missing half the ingredients mentioned in menu. The pork was bacon fat, disgusting. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. Shocked that so many people love this place, they must never have had great Chinese like 888 or PF Chang's. read more
