When I look at a company's Yelp reviews, I try to be fair and make exceptions for the occasional 1-star review due to a difficult customer. However, when a company gets several 1-star reviews in a short period of time, in my opinion, that's when you know it might not be the customers, but the company. (Hint: Sort the reviews by Newest First) We had a house fire and it was already very stressful, but dealing with Austin and his company, Four Seasons Restoration, has been even MORE stressful, which is the last thing we needed. Initially, Austin was very friendly, polite, and said everything we wanted to hear. As the project went on with us and we pointed out our missing things, his team's poor workmanship and electrical hazards his team had left in our attic (see photos), we felt he became more and more unprofessional. If, for some reason, you ever decide to deal with Austin and team, I'd advise you to get every single thing down in writing. With us, he threw away our fridge, dishwasher, and a few other items we had that were still in very good condition. We never gave him permission, but he insists that we did because he replaced the appliances. In a meeting, HE even suggested we use our previous fridge as a backup storage fridge in our garage, but he denies that. That's just the start of the problems. When we were told we could move back into our house and it was livable, we found that his team installed a tub in our bathroom that has about a 1 foot hole underneath it and it leaks! (see photos) The shower glass walls leak because they weren't properly installed. Even though he knew we had a house fire, our attic had open electrical boxes that were fire hazards! Looking at our air conditioning and heating vents, we could see fiberglass insulation in the vents. The list goes on. This is only to name a few of the issues here. There was a whole list of things in our insurance scope that he was supposed to complete but did not. On top of all this, we have found no records of him pulling any permits for the work he's done even though we know at least one was required by law. We wanted to be fair and gave his team a chance to fix the issues we presented, but they came back and made even more mistakes like installing the drawer pulls off-center and crooked window screens that didn't fit correctly, allowing bugs to come in. In addition to everything else, when we asked him to correct these mistakes, he kept asking for more money. Also, when we asked him to come back with an employee who wasn't the one who kept making mistakes (which makes perfect sense!), he told us to find our own contractors... We highly DO NOT recommend working with Austin and Four Seasons Restoration. Save yourself the headache and just be your own contractor if you can. On top of everything, it has almost been a year since we first signed the contract with Austin and Four Seasons Restoration. The job is still not finished. We lived in temporary housing for much too long and never complained, thinking that as long as they did the job right, it'd be worth it, but it wasn't done right and now we're living in an incomplete house. read more

This company was personally highly recommended by Gino, the plumber who had responded to my grandma's emergency response from Farmers Insurance. we were quite impressed with their style of work and how comfortable they made us feel from the get-go. it The anxiety that comes with construction was simply just washed away; their work was just very well put together. . Transparency is something I rarely see contractors have nowadays but we really enjoyed how Austin led us throughout the whole process of dealing with our insurance company and how he was even able to fit in a few upgrades by moving funds around - we got ourselves a brand new Samsung Fridge! we were so glad to see the work they showcase matched with their values and work ethics. My biggest worry was getting my living room dusty during the remediation process but man wow was I pleasantly surprised with how Hector, Omar, and the other blonde guy did such a beautiful job containing the work area. My dishwasher water supply line burst and flooded my house causing major damage to my kitchen and the formal living room. When I contacted my insurance company they sent a plumber and a remediation company right away but ohh gosh they both were not the best to work with. Specially the remediation company, they created even more mess and wanted to keep opening up the walls that weren't effected. Not so honest people I felt. So I start looking for a good company with good reviews and found Four Seasons Restoration. This company is on a different level than most construction companies out there. One stop full service company vs dealing with single trade contractors. Honest and based off my recent experience, Four Seasons Restoration is very organized, professional and up to speed contractor. Our project was completed 3 days before promised completion date per our contract. Austin, Thank you for your extreme professionalism in handling our claim with our insurance adjuster. My roommate and I had been suffering from water damage and mold in our apartment and even after a month of our landlord dodging repairs, the landlord did a terrible patch paint job trying to hide the long term damage that makes our apartment completely unsustainable to live in. We were still experiencing health issues so we called around and Four Season Restoration was one of the only places that made time for us the very next day. They didn't bullshit around with the process over the phone and try to oversell me on their expertise. When Austin saw the patch job that had been done, he expressed immediate concern for our living situation. His actual words were, "I don't like what I'm seeing." He put in a lot of extra effort to make sure that we had every form of documentation regarding the water damage in our apartment. The inspection itself involved a variety of procedures. Once he found the large amounts of water levels hidden behind the paint job, he took a good amount of photos for evidence, videos of him recommending the best next steps for properly taking care of the water damage (such as actually using equipment to dry the area before painting), air quality tests, and samples. He explained why the patch job our landlord performed would not be a long-term solution, and tried to make sure we had as much on our side as possible in this difficult situation. He even checked the rest of our apartment outside of the two main water-damaged rooms just to make sure we were safe. Austin was extremely caring and cautious throughout the inspection with no stone unturned. He has a really good heart and is really looking out for his clients. I am a consumer who has hired this company to help us however, they made a huge mess out of our 3rd party claim. The neighbors adjuster and this contractor were acting 1st party claimant , this falls under unfair settlement practices. I for one can say this business is not a insurance claim specialist. Owner said I won the war. Wow really? I just wanted my home to meet a healthy environment and put back to industry standards that meet city code. All I received was a lawsuit against us from this company after he damaged the claim and our home. Consumers do your research I was able to get his lawsuit dropped and the mechanic lien released once the lien company hired by Four Seasons has seen the truth I just want to make clear there is no winner here, If I only knew about the client before me and what this company did to her, I would have never had this company in my home for estimates. That is all I asked for is a full Comprehensive Repair estimate. Because that's what the neighbors adjuster asked for. Instead I received a completely gutted demolished interior of our home with this company taking the container off our driveway with everything of ours in it. Background - The interior of my residential investment property in Corona was completely destroyed by a former criminal tenants who turned it into a marijuana grow-house. The interior of the property was completely uninhabitable and unrecognizable as a house. The situation was a nightmare until I met Austin and his team. Austin was referred to my by a friend who is an architect and interior designer. Upon the first meeting, I felt comfortable with Austin and his foreman (Pedro) right away. As soon as we hired Austin, it felt like all the headaches went away. Indeed, the entire restoration and renovation process was amazingly smooth. In addition to the actual construction work, Austin and his team took care of everything - they dealt with the City's building dept, the power company (Edison), my insurance company and the adjuster, my mortgage company's loss draft department and its inspectors. Every aspect of the process was handled professionally by Austin's team. Of course, the job was completed in timely manner. Overall, I am very impressed by Austin's professionalism, workmanship, and service. I am truly happy with Austin and Four Seasons Restoration. There is nothing better than a warranty repair to find out how professional a business is. In my previous review, I gave Four Seasons Restoration a glowing review. In 2017 I was given a 5 year warranty for the roof repairs performed by them. In January 2019, I had a roof leak which damaged the ceiling and floor of the same kitchen Four Seasons had repaired 2 years earlier. Austin came over with Pedro and "repaired" the roof, but as soon as they left the leak started again. In the meantime, Austin had the gall to send me an estimate, $3,650.52, of what it would cost me to have him repair the roof and kitchen again. I asked him why he would be charging me for a job that he had given me a 5 year warranty on, and only 2 years had passed. He did not give me an explanation of why he would not honor the warranty and would not do any of repairs, but said he wouldn't do them. I had to hire other contractors to repair what I had already paid Four Seasons for. At the end I was out $5,000. I inspected the roof repairs that Four Seasons Restoration did and I was surprised to find out 1) The repairs were done in the wrong area and 2) the repairs were done with leftover scrap material, which they must have used in previous jobs. They were laid in a haphazard way, not with the grain in which the lower layer was. I know many of you are very excited at the job that Four Seasons has done for you, but you just wait if any warranty work has to be done by them. The saddest part is that in the original job they were paid over $100,000 by the insurance company, and they couldn't do at least a professional job on the roof, apart from doing the shoddy "repairs" in the wrong area. So, take Four Seasons Restoration's warranties and promises with a grain of salt. And when Austin asks you for a Yelp review, telling you that he has a 100% rating, beware. read more

All consumers I suggest you look in the unrecomend reviews on this business. Somehow Yelp keeps moving the 1 star reviews. You definitely need to check the CSLB. You should also know a contractor can not negotiate a insurance claim unless they are licensed attorney's or licensed public adjusters. Very disappointed. Everything was going well. I received a message and call the same day from Austin. He came out the next day and gave me all the information I needed. I signed the contract to start services shortly after and on the day we were to start the repairs he sent me a message telling me he had to let go of all his staff and his only two employees working were in a car accident and he would not be able to do the work. I feel things could have been handled better. If you initially knew your staff was limited maybe you should not be making commitments with customers. This is a great company to go to to restore your house after damage. I had severe water damage and my insurance didn't pay enough to do construction. I called several contractors and they refused to help me. I called Four Seasons Restoration as my last resort. Thankfully Austin (the boss), took my case. He assured me that he can work with insurance and help remove severe mold damage. I felt like I was hiring a lawyer to represent me. I didn't have to hassle with the insurance company anymore. They were able to negotiate a much better price so I can get my house cleaned up and restored. Also, his men men came and covered up the area and removed all the mold and restored my walls to perfection. I even had to replace all my laminate floors and they worked hard to meet my finicky standards. They went the extra mile to make me a happy customer. They were always available to answer my questions and and kept me up to date on all the processes. When I had an issue they were very willing to settle it to their best ability.
