Our family wanted sandwiches after visiting the Charles Schulz museum. The sandwich choices were many here. I had roast beef, my son had ham on a soft roll. We went late in the afternoon after lunch and an hour before dinner. We missed out on the salads, they were all out but would have liked to have tried them. The park was right across the street so we enjoyed the winter sun while had our sandwiches. My husband and daughter had turkey sandwiches which were yummy! The deli looked family owned. 4 sandwiches, 2 drinks and a bag of chips totaled it $65. read more

I think I found my new sandwich deli! This corner Deli on the corner of Mendocino and 4th downtown Santa Rosa has your breakfast, lunch and snack options. They got breakfast burritos, muffins, bagels, salads, chips, drinks, snacks and of course their deli sandwiches. The store itself is not big but is very tidy and organized. I opted for a roast beef sandwich for lunch minus the horseradish and a lemon tea. I went with whole wheat sliced. The sandwich itself had cheese, lettuce, avocado and onions. The only thing that tasted off was that it had cream cheese instead of mayo. I am not used to cream cheese being on my sandwiches but it wasn't bad. Service was quick and efficient. There were 4 ladies working the sandwich counter. Now if only they had weekend hours, either a Sat or Sun would be awesome instead of M-F. Then more people would be able to enjoy your sandwiches for weekend hikes/picnics etc. read more

My sis is in a rehab unit in Santa Rosa. I wanted to thank them for the excellent care they provide. While in town I found the Fourth Street Deli and had a delicious sandwich. How have I never reviewed Fourth Street Deli!?!?! I eat here almost once a week! I discovered this place several years ago when I worked at the mall. Best sandwiches in town hands down! The staff is always amazing. Always the same friendly faces. And the food is consistent! My go to is the Cobb on the Corner. All the flavors meld perfectly together and I can't get enough! Sometimes I get it in salad form from the grab in go if I don't have time to wait. If you go around noon, expect to wait. It is worth it! Everyone who works downtown flocks to this place. Get there early (or later) or order ahead of time. I love that they now have order ahead online. You don't get the true experience with the family but it works in a hurry. I found myself today searching for a new deli/sandwich spot after posting a disappointing review for one of my favorite places yesterday. I've had my eye on fourth st deli for a little bit so decided to delve into their menu. The first sammich that really stood out to me was the meatloaf. I love me a good meatloaf sammich. So I put in an order online which was very simple to do. It also gives you a preferred time you'd like to pick up the order. I walked in, gave them my name they gave me my order badda bing badda boom I'm outta there! Simple! Get back to work unwrap a delicious looking sammich take a bite and yes! I'd so order it again! It was yummy, though I'm not a fan of mustard on meatloaf, not sure why that would even be a thought. I'll just exclude it next time. There seems to be a good choice if pre made salads as well. Second, the juice they sell has the most artificially flavors I honestly would had been better off with soda. I am loving this deli. I came here 2 times on my lunch hour. First time I got the little piggy, then today I got the Cobb on the corner. Both sandwiches where amazing. I had been waiting a long time to try this place out. I could hardly wait. I followed them on ig and every post they uploaded made me want to try them more and more. Well, today was the day!! I was able to drive there during my lunch hour and I walked in I greeted the worker didn't even acknowledge me or greet me back. The next worker was not very friendly and was not very helpful being the first time there. She was rude when I asked her questions about the sandwiches. This place needs a new review. I'll be the first to admit-I was a skeptic, a deli that looks kinda funky and I am supposed to get food here? Initially I was not having it. After some time of working downtown and trying to beat the prices from other local spots I tried it out. Not only is everyone super nice here but the food is great! They make homemade soups that are delicious and offer you a beautiful variety during the week. This place has become a go to lunch spot for me, and I am grateful to it. This is an outstanding deli with many delicious favorites of mine. To start with, you are greeted immediately upon entering with smiles and friendly hellos by the staff. They are happy to answer any questions you have. The falafels here are out of this world- moist and fluffy with good flavor, the Chinese chicken salad is crispy with light sweet & sour dressing.
