I can't say enough about this shop! I was visiting for a conference and staying off Canal street & I wanted my morning coffee from a local spot. This was a quick 4 min walk away and it was exactly what I was looking for. The eclectic vibe inside was cozy and well curated, the coffee was tasty, and service was fast. The place has PLENTY of seating with multiple rooms and even an enclosed courtyard.

It's a YES. Here's why... Besides the NOLA cool interior, courtyard- and yes, a bar in the back, latte was great, as were pastries. Staff was super

Fast service considering the line. And lots of places to sit. Great latte--not bitter at all and I didn't get anything special. Loved their berry cheese danish. Not very sweet but so creamy and loved the berries.

Delicious and beautiful cafe. Plenty of seating inside & outside. Shroom boom was phenomenal while the boudin boy was nothing special. Great place for breakfast and the line moves quickly.

Before heading on an alligator tour, I wanted to get a coffee and quick breakfast. This was right on the way and had the reputation of being a local favorite, so we decided to give it a try and boy was I not disappointed. The line was 10-12 people deep but to me that just meant it is that good. We ended up waiting around 15 minutes to order but it was worth it. I got a latte and the sausage quiche which was delicious. There are a few tables inside which is so cute and we were able to find a nice cozy spot by the window to enjoy. If it were a warmer day we would have also loved to sit in the court yard. Overall 5/5 stars!

I decided to give this place a shot since I arrived extra early. The spot can be easy to miss so make sure you are paying attention as you get closer! I saw a guy sitting outside with a coffee so that helped identify the cafe! This coffee shop must be a local favorite since the line never got shorter! There was also a boil water advisory when I stopped in so they were unable to make any espresso drinks at the time. I did order the cold brew and the veggie breakfast burrito which were both delicious! Staff were super friendly and remained calm during the surge of folks! I would love to stop by to try their espresso drinks next time! There is seating in the front and back but note that it's limited and does get super busy so keep that in mind! There are some ares where you can work from. It has a nice ambiance with exposed brick and plants that make it super cozy!

Was visiting from out of town and stopped in for a morning cup of coffee. Fourth Wall Coffee has that effortless New Orleans charm , cozy, a little artsy, very chill. It's the kind of place you can sit with a book, answer emails, or just stare out the window pretending you're in a film. Service was solid and easygoing. Now let's talk about the coffee. I ordered a regular latte with oat milk, honey, and cinnamon and as someone who genuinely loves coffee, I pay attention to flavor notes. This roast leans bold and assertive. It's not shy, not delicate, not watered down. It has a deeper, more robust profile with a slightly bitter edge that lingers in a good way. If you're used to lighter, fruit-forward, or super smooth mellow blends, this might taste strong to you. But if you appreciate a full-bodied cup with presence something that actually tastes like coffee -- you'll enjoy this. The oat milk softened it just enough, and the honey & cinnamon added warmth without overpowering the espresso's natural depth. It's confident coffee. And I liked it.

Visited this hidden gem twice during our week stay. Delicious, specialty coffee. Try the seasonal drinks or a cappuccino. Perfect spot to read, enjoy some art, or catch up with a friend in the courtyard. Wonderful service from Zoe, who shared some recs for thrifting!

Very popular, quaint spot with specials and kind staff. We enjoyed sitting in the shaded and very green courtyard enjoying the shade. I ordered a specialty latte and my husband, the Cortado. The baked goods appeared very fresh and popular, as well. Overall, cute spot to pop in and get caffeinated.

Fourth Wall is truly one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been to. Sadly it was my last stop in New Orleans so I couldn't go more than once. The space is large with ample seating inside and some seating outside. The decor is lovely, as are the friendly staff. They sell local merch as well which was a nice touch. Great coffee and drinks menu, along with bites and pastries. I had a cappuccino which was so good. Well balanced. I also ordered their veggie quiche, which I went back and got a second one to go of how good it was! Also ordered a scone which was tasty and paired well with my coffee. Definitely a place I will be returning to!

Serendipity is a wonderful thing. On my 19th and 20th visits to New Orleans for Jazz fest in 2025 and 2026, I stayed in the CBD and was wandering around taking photographs when I stopped in front of an old building on a non-descriptive street called Gravier. I couldn't quite figure out what was going on because there was no real signage and there appeared on the ornate old doorways, a theater sign and an arrow pointing to a sign that said Fourth Wall. As I finished taking my picture, a man came out of the doorway who happened to be the owner and he invited me inside. The inside has a number of different and eclectic spaces to get coffee and other drinks, things to eat, an outdoor patio, a relaxing, almost library looking book area, and an event space that all contained interesting, warm, and cozy environments. I had an excellent latte and wandered around to each section of this café/bar. The following year I went looking for this spot but forgot where it was until I again wandered into it. Great vibe and place to relax and enjoy a great coffee or whatever.

I saw Fourth Wall on Yelp in my search for local coffee places in New Orleans. It instantly was added to my bucket list the moment I saw the description and the other guest photos. Come for the coffee, stay for the vibe. Just be prepared to wait in line.

A great find for breakfast and coffee. There are a variety of options and they all taste delicious, We were able to try a seasonal coffee along with the golden latte. They also had great breakfast and pastry options. The burrito and its sauce was awesome. There was also a lot of seating indoor and outdoor with plenty of different options as well, from couches to tables. The coffee came out really fast and we did not have to wait.

The Vintage - New Orleans, LA…read more The Vintage on Magazine Street was our very first food stop in New Orleans, and it turned out to be a great way for my wife and me to start our trip. From the moment we walked in, I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a cool, relaxed New Orleans vibe with a little bit of an upscale café feel without being overly fancy. It's the kind of spot where you can come in, sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks, and just take your time. Of course, we couldn't come to New Orleans and not start things off with beignets! We decided to go with the Fancy Beignet Flight, which gave us a chance to try several different flavors. We got the raspberry, s'mores, and Chantilly. They came out looking almost too good to eat, covered in powdered sugar with all the different fillings and toppings. Almost... because we definitely ate them! They were warm, sweet, messy in the best possible way, and a fun introduction to our New Orleans food adventure. For my meal, I ordered the Italian Panini with the truffle Parmesan fries. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese, and flavor. Looking at that cross-section, they definitely weren't being stingy with the fillings! The bread was toasted nicely, and everything worked well together. The truffle fries were another highlight. They had plenty of seasoning and Parmesan and paired perfectly with the sandwich. I also grabbed a small iced mocha, which went really well with the food and especially the beignets. One thing I really enjoyed about The Vintage was the atmosphere. The interior has a lot of character, from the marble tables and vintage-style flooring to the bar and pastry display. It feels like a place that belongs on Magazine Street. It was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed and could just enjoy being in New Orleans together. The service was good during our visit, and everything came together for a really enjoyable first meal in the city. Our bill came to around $48 after tax and tip for the two of us, and considering we had a sandwich, upgraded fries, drinks, and the beignet flight, I thought it was a good experience for the money. Most importantly, this place gave my wife and me a great start to our New Orleans trip. When your first stop includes a loaded Italian panini, truffle Parmesan fries, iced coffee, and a whole flight of beignets, you know the trip is starting off right! Definitely a place I would visit again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great first taste of New Orleans. 5 stars from us!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!
