The ambiance here is unmatched--the music and decor create such a relaxed, chill vibe. Plus, the service is incredibly fast and efficient. To be honest, the coffee is just okay (not the best, but definitely not the worst), but the atmosphere makes up for it. It's a fantastic spot to grab a quick pick-me-up if you're hitting the contemporary art museum!

This is a really nice and aesthetic coffee shop! The service was really friendly and helpful! I wished that the coffee was a bit stronger and more flavorful, but it was still pretty good! There's only street parking available. I'd definitely come back for the vibes.

This coffee shop is a gem. I love the customer service and each time the hospitality is amazing! It feels like an intimate boutique coffee shop. The iced matcha latte was creamy and great! I also enjoyed the croissant and it was the perfect bite before heading back into the office. I recommend anyone to visit Mr Wolf Espresso!

Easy to miss - tucked inside a contemporary art building that doesn't open until 11! Serves mainly drinks. Has just a few pastries, and they ran out by 9:30am. Don't go looking for breakfast. Drink menu is standard and posted on a glass partition so hard to see and read. The coffee was great - we had a decaf latte and iced vanilla latte. However - the wait is long. With only one barista hand making each drink we waited ~10 solid minutes. Just plan ahead. There are no other coffee shops in the area so they do get busy. Fortunately it's also a little book shop so you can browse the books while you wait.

I am so happy I finally checked out Mr. Wolf Espresso & Books! This place is definitely a gem in the city. It's a beautiful, Black-owned space that simply oozes art, culture, and soul from every corner. I wanted to sit there all day. The vibe is immaculate: it's effortlessly cool and welcoming, featuring great music, an inspiring atmosphere, and a fantastic focus on the local creative scene (they showcase local authors, which is wonderful!). If you're looking for a place to relax, read, or just soak up some genuine energy, this is it. I ordered a Chai Latte with sugar-free caramel added. Honestly, it tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk in the best way possible. It was perfectly spiced, creamy, and I didn't get an artificial aftertaste from the sugar-free syrup. They truly know how to craft a perfect drink. Great service, incredible aesthetic, and phenomenal coffee. I can't wait to go back and try something else! Support this local business!

During my trip to New Orleans, I was lucky enough to visit Mr Wolf twice with my coworkers. Both times, I really enjoyed my lattes. The vibe itself is a curated, and cool. Not surprising since it is located inside of a museum. The staff were very friendly, and made each of our drinks perfectly.

The coffee bags on the walls with paintings of farmers and bulls add an authentic feel to the place. Come inside the shop next to the art gallery and you'll see a cozy spot with friendly people. I got the strawberry hibiscus tea and it is great for a summer drink.

Good vibes. Coffee shop and art gallery. Located inside the large warehouse building, the space is quaint and modern, but spacious. The coffee is good y'all. The brown sugar iced latte tastes like a coffee cake. They also have pastries. The barista was welcoming and very attentive on both occasions we stopped in. The vibe is relaxed with music and art. Restrooms are in the lobby which is slightly inconvenient but it based on the layout of the building. They offer WiFi and accept credit cards.

The whole experience is a 5/5. The staff is very welcoming and the decor is a rotating art exhibit. I had an iced salted caramel latte and a warm almond croissant and enjoyed both.

What a surprise delight! When exploring a new city, I always head to coffee shops and bookstores, so to find one that is both is a bonus. I sat at a table by the window and sipped an Americano while reading through a book on Women and Art. And speaking of art, the artistic decor is such treat! The number of books is very limited and the coffee is great!

It also looks like a local hangout with their very comfortable bar. The team here is very friendly and like all places in New Orleans... always looking to help. We were traveling with our friends, which we do often and we're very predicable on what we order for breakfast. Our server came right over to the table to bring us water and take a drink order. After a very quick turn-around she was back with our coffees and we were ready to order. Over easy eggs and potatoes French toast VERY well done friend eggs Over easy with sausage Eggs Benedict (or any variation you have.) All was good. All was fresh and what needed to be hot was. What more could you ask for? We tend to get to breakfast fairly early so it wasn't too busy, but people were coming in through our meal and the place was filling up quickly. I love coming to restaurants where they have a good flow of customers and their regulars. KUDOs to the team at Streetcar Cafe.

Not good. Actually, a tourist trap…read more We wanted fresh fried seafood. The fried 'seafood' platter contains farm-raised imported shrimp, farm-raised imported Swai (a foreign garbage-eating pond-raised fish), and farmed oysters for $26. No thanks. Ok. Switching to gumbo. Uh, their 'gumbo' is a thin broth with virtually no solid ingredients besides white rice. A very few minuscule shreds of chicken and maybe a 6-8 tiny cubes of some tasteless sausage for $17. It did come with a nice biscuit. Be aware of what's being served. Stick to the well-known real-deal restaurants. Not everything is what it claims to be. Nothing real about this ripoff. We'll never go back to this tourist trap.

The whole bill was $40 total for everything we got and we definitely could've spent their $40 somewhere else and had a way better experience. The only thing I like is the ambience, it has all old-school 90s merchandise and video games which entertained my son while we had to wait that long. Cute concept but the food and service and wait time needs to definitely improve. Good location for tourists. Will not return.
