If you know, you know. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Mojo Coffee House is that spot--whether you're Uptown on Freret or Magazine Street, it's the kind of place that feels like home the moment you walk in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But let me tell you... it's not just about the coffee (even though their medium roast is smooth, bold, and just right). It's the boudin breakfast burrito that keeps me coming back. A flavor-packed NOLA-style hug wrapped in a tortilla, it's got just enough spice and soul to set your day on the right track. But the secret weapon? Their homemade hot sauce. It's tangy, it's got heat, and it belongs on that burrito. You can't have one without the other--seriously, I don't make the rules. Pair that combo with a cup of Mojo's coffee and it's the kind of breakfast that doesn't just fill you up--it lifts you up. Locals know the magic. Visitors should. [[HIGHLIGHT]]New Orleans is full of flavor, but Mojo? Mojo's got heart, heat, and the kind of comfort you crave more than once a week.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Yay for Mojo! I regularly stop here when I'm in NOLA and looking for my coffee fix, and Mojo does their lattes right. You shouldn't be in a hurry when you're in New Orleans anyways, and it's well worth the wait to have Mojo make your hot beverage properly. The side snacks are also tasty!

Thank you Tony for your wonderful latte art for my wonderful wife!

We love cool coffee shops that are open late, have amazing service and create their own custom flavors. Mojo delivers! Plus, their large lavender latte for my wonderful wife comes with six shots of espresso! Zoom! Zoom! Rina took my order and was very helpful. Tony crafted the latte and produced a true work of awesome art! Wow! I've never seen latte art like this and my wife was thrilled! Life is good with late in the day vacation coffee with amazing latte art and great service! Thanks Rina and Tony!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute coffee shop with a really friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the old photos on the back wall -- such a nice touch and adds so much character to the space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love Mojo! It is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location on Freret is perfect, and it's a great spot to study or get some work done while sipping on a delicious drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm a big fan of their cappuccinos. My last to-go cup even had a cute little heart design on top. It can be a bit of a wait during busy times, but it's always worth it.

They were really quick to take the order but the baristas were definitely backed up. Staff were friendly and the drinks were good. Cold brew Nola style is definitely worth it.

Came here based on a recommendation, I wanted some really good coffee. I ordered a dirty chai, it was so flavorful. Some of there coffee is from Guatemala, I got some espresso for my coffee machine at home. They even grind them up for me. They offer free Wi-Fi, I plugged in my laptop charger in the many available sockets. The staff are really nice here.

What was there not to love? [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute coffee shop that still has a bit of that old school feeling of being able to pull out a book or your laptop and just chill for an hour or two.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only giving a 4 as I didn't have any food.

Worth a try if you're around the area. It's a good, standard coffee spot. The inside space is huge and I saw a few people working there so definitely a good spot to get some stuff done. It's a bit of a darker vibe with the dark wood and less natural light flowing in but still welcoming. I got the nola iced coffee which is their cold brew with chicory and cream. I got it unsweetened and didn't feel like it needed sweetener, which is good. Others in my group got lattes which they enjoyed as well as a danish and a breakfast burrito. They liked the danish and the burrito was stuffed with meat.

Mojo is my go-to coffee shop before work during the week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Awesome staff, great coffee, chill atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm usually there in the mornings, and I see the same 2 or 3 dogs every time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Always a great way to start the day. I usually get an iced vanilla latte or chai, but their teas are good too. I always try to snag a boudin burrito if they have any left--they go quick.

A chilled interior, jazzy music, I think. Nice deep, dark woods and decor. Music is playing in the background, but feels laid back and gives off a calm environment. We ordered a 20 ounce oat milk latte (comes with 6 shots of espresso) and a 12 ounce jasmine green tea. $11.02. The lattes here are strong here, appropriately shot dosed based on the size of your coffee cup size here, well done, that's how it should be. Drinks were out in less than 5 minutes, that's not too bad. The oat milk latte here is good, the jasmine green tea isn't bad either. I can smell their chocolate cookies or something and it smells really good.

Longer: So I was a little hesitant to go to CDM, because it's such the tourist stop and the first joint anyone mentions when they say "beignet". But this was our first stop, morning of first day. The beignets are piled in sugar, they are warm, crunchy and crisp on the outside and soft, warm and delicate inside. I gotta tell you, the texture is just a little different than Cafe Beignet, the Four Seasons, and even the other CDM in the park we tried a few days later. To me, this is the best one. Now, as a coffee person, their black coffee is strong, rich, and a good compliment to the real show - the beignets. But I did not pick up on nearly as much chicory in their chicory coffee as, say, Cafe Beignet's version. Also, I have to let you know the other location in the big park serves a non-chicory version (in addition to NOLA chicory) that is head and shoulders the best coffee we had in New Orleans. But this is the joint. As a bonus, it's colorful, has consistently great street musicians, and has lots of walkable sites as you struggle to waddle around after too many beignets. Gotta go!

Don't be deterred if you see a long line - that's for takeout only. The tables are first come, first served. Portions are quite large so good to share a plate (3 beignets) between 2 ppl. Service can take a while if they happen to be taking a break (that was the case for us). And you are expected to pay when the orders are delivered (cash only). Make sure to tip extra because it is one tough job.

The iced London Fog lattes I discovered are premade, which overall my wife thought was alright, but she liked that they had gluten free blueberry muffins. The chocolate croissant was solid. The service was prompt and friendly. And the decor had a rustic ambiance with the brick walls, dark book shelving and garden patio in the back. The coffee bar has a hidden quality about it that is alluring and appealing. It was good to check out before we concluded our recent stay in NOLA.

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!
