You're sitting in your hotel looking for someplace to get your morning cap. Don't stress, I found the spot. Nova nailed not one, but three honey caps while I was in New Orleans. Nice place, good vibe and A/C! Use their own beans. Trust me, place is legit. I will miss Nova!

This little coffee house a few hundred feet from Old77 hotel is fantastic! Best vanilla latte that I have had on our trip to NOLA. It would only be topped if they made beignet's. Great modern decor with hints of old NOLA brick walls. Highly recommend! Service was great too!

When I travel I always find a local coffee shop to visit. This time I sauntered into Nova Espresso. The barista who helped me wore glasses and a hat. He was the manager, I believe, and he was SO nice. Omg. I had an oat-milk maple bourbon latte and it was incredible. I will be back whenever I'm back in NOLA for sure.

If you enjoy strong coffee, pop into Nova Espresso in the Warehouse District. With a full coffee menu, table and bar seating, and a few pastries, it's a relaxing cafe to sit at, enjoying a cup of joe. My large latte was very strong and was the perfect kick to start the day.

Nova Espresso easily claims a top spot on my list of New Orleans coffee shops. This was our first visit, and the quality completely blew us away--especially their house-made syrups! I went with the Bourbon Maple Latte, and my wife tried the Local Buzz. Both drinks were phenomenal. Bri, our barista, was absolutely fantastic and crafted everything with serious care and skill. The shop's atmosphere is exactly what you want: small, highly aesthetic, and perfectly quiet. It's an ideal spot to hunker down and get some work done, complete with plenty of power outlets to keep you fully charged. We will definitely be back! read more

I stopped by chance on my way to a convention. The shop was so cute and most importantly, open early in the morning when I needed the coffee. They have baked goods and packaged snacks like protein and granola bars on display for purchase. The coffee counter is small. When I went, only one barista was on the bar and also working the register, so I opted for the cold brew which I saw already batched for the day. I appreciated that the small cold brew came in a decent sized up. The flavor was very clean and smooth, just a hint of sour and fruitiness but mostly herby. I absolutely loved their fall menu - they had some super creative fall drinks that were incredible and way more inventive and tasty than your average spot. I also got several pastries and loved the boudin boy and the coconut pastry! So tasty! Went this weekend and they were sadly out of matcha which happens- but it led me to try a lavender latte instead of the pond water w matcha and omg this was one of the best lavender lattes I've had and I drink a lot. What a happy accident! I was devastated when I spilled one of the four drinks I got and it was the other lavender one but I will definitely be back for more ! Please get different cup holders, mine fell apart immediately and I was parked right outside :( great and super communicative service and amazing coffee! Cute vibe also! read more

Really flavorful coffee but the bourbon caramel syrup tasted like postage stamp glue. I think it's much better without syrup. I I ate an unusually tasty cream coconut danish. Aside from the coffee syrup, a tasty place for a snack. read more

Nice clean coffee shop near my hotel. If you like smooth and fruity espresso, this is the place for you. I prefer my espresso smooth, rich and deep in flavor, but it was still good. I would go back and try another option. They have clean with minimal ingredients in the instant oatmeal options and I loved it! I have to find the oatmeal at a store. read more

The hot latte I ordered was cold and didn't taste great either. The interior was okay, but didn't have a cozy coffee shop feeling. Very industrial. I personally wouldn't go back and think there are many other wonderful coffee shops in NOLA such as French Truck, Mammoth, Coffee Science, or Evolve. read more

Stayed at a hotel across the street and this was the perfect coffee shop! I enjoyed it my whole trip! Tried both the matcha as well as the dirty chai and they were amazing. House made syrups always are a win for me when choosing where to buy at a local shop and this location offers a nice variety of them. Would recommend to anyone in the area :) read more

I walked out of my way to come here every morning before heading to my conference, rather than going to the Starbucks in my hotel lobby. It's definitely worth the extra time and walk. I was very happy that they were willing to make my coffee in my reusable mug, which is awesome. Their coffee was very good, and I enjoyed my red eye. read more

Yelp gives us a few ideas of what to consider in a proper review. Food, service, and ambiance You won't find much of any at this spot. I'm sitting outside of St.James Cheese Co. having a sandwich and pondering where I learned to be so fiscally irresponsible, as I wash it down with a latte that I'm 80% sure is nothing but a cup of oat milk with ice, spending over $15 on two drinks is crazy work especially when they are so deep below the bar. The original Nova in Mobile, AL is incredible and so when they opened here I knew I would be coming here even from all the way across the city. The cold brew is wicked strong like much stronger than what I order normally at Starbucks. The service was prompt and friendly. And the decor had a rustic ambiance with the brick walls, dark book shelving and garden patio in the back. My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. The menu has many choices. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with side arugula salad. The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.

Wise move because it might as well have a revolving door for how often it was being used. We hung out for a surprisingly long time for tourists. Credit us for not buying any of their tempting baked goods like the pistachio financier. We had fried chicken in our imminent future. All of the servers were very kind, happily accommodated requests and were quick and efficient. Of course the best location is the open air cafe at 800 Decatur St. Open 24 hours and one of the best places to take in the quirky, uniqueness of the city. Don't wear black and bring cash.

The line to the cashiers was very disorganized. Instead of calling the next person in line, one cashier was pulling people up at random, which made the ordering process frustrating. Overall, the food is fantastic, but be prepared for chaotic crowds and a messy ordering system during peak hours.

As for the food, I was torn between a couple of the benedicts, so I ended up combining and getting crab cake and andouille sausage, both on the same croissant. It was delicious if a bit much; I ended up taking half to go. The crab cake was substantial in size, with a good crab to cake ratio, and the sauce which was touted to be excellent, certainly was. This was a very tasty breakfast. The decor was very cute and bright, and our server had a great smile and proper NOLA accent, tending to all of our needs with aplomb.
