I loved the laid back vibes of this coffee shop. I got an americano and a chocolate croissant and both were good. The croissant was flaky and was the perfect compliment to my drink. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

This was a very nice coffee shop with excellent pastries (I had the chocolate croissant). The service was friendly and the hot mocha was made with care. But man, it may have been one of the worst mochas I have ever had. Maybe it's because they use homemade syrups or something. I like that the sizes have a different number of shots (Starbucks, take note). I'd say 1 star mocha but 5 star service and croissant!

This place is super cute with delicious chai, with a spice forward flavor profile. They had a nice playlist with reliable wifi and kind baristas. Love the plants and that there are a few chairs outdoors!

This Coffee shop was located across our air bnb. It was conveniently located, so we decided to make a pit stop before heading out to the airport. I had a cappuccino and pastry to go. Both items were great! Service was a bit slow but I still recommend this place.

This little coffee house a few hundred feet from Old77 hotel is fantastic! Best vanilla latte that I have had on our trip to NOLA. It would only be topped if they made beignet's. Great modern decor with hints of old NOLA brick walls. Highly recommend! Service was great too!

When I travel I always find a local coffee shop to visit. This time I sauntered into Nova Espresso. The barista who helped me wore glasses and a hat. He was the manager, I believe, and he was SO nice. Omg. I had an oat-milk maple bourbon latte and it was incredible. I will be back whenever I'm back in NOLA for sure.

If you enjoy strong coffee, pop into Nova Espresso in the Warehouse District. With a full coffee menu, table and bar seating, and a few pastries, it's a relaxing cafe to sit at, enjoying a cup of joe. My large latte was very strong and was the perfect kick to start the day.

My husband reviews his coffee based on the quality of the macchiato, and this was a great one! Very cool vibes and employees. Also, they had pain au chocolat, which is pretty hard to beat.

They liked their lattes, my matcha was decent, not the best but not awful, hits the spot if you're wanting a matcha.

It was my first time ever trying beignets, and they absolutely met my expectations. We waited about 10 minutes in line, which honestly wasn't bad at all. We ordered a bag of the traditional beignets and some chocolate milk. We also got lucky and found a table pretty quickly. The beignets were fresh, warm, and covered in powdered sugar. Simple, but so yummy. I'm so happy I finally got to cross this place off my bucket list!

I had the chance to come back to the city last weekend, when a good friend from my Italy days was in town for a conference. I was able to meet her to explore the city for a day, and we of course had to make room for beignets and Cafe du Monde. We almost settled for one of the locations at an indoor mall, but we stuck out a 20-30 min walk from where we were to make it to the original at the French Quarter. Since it was just two of us, we were able to get seated pretty quickly even though there was an expected Saturday morning line. I am also glad my friend had cash because they STILL only accept cash for payment. No credit cards, which is wild at any US establishment nowadays. We also tried to only order one plate of beignets (come in a set of 3) and one coffee each but the server came back with two beignet plates and coffees. $20 with tax included! The beignets themselves were scrumptious, warm, and delicious ofcourse. So I suppose worth any inconvenience that we may have experienced. However, the tables are left incredibly messy. It is true that our server did wipe off our table before we sat down but it is embarrassing to see patrons create such a mess to begin with.

We went all in: shrimp and grits that were downright phenomenal (I'm still thinking about them), a goat cheese omelette that was so good it made me question all my past breakfast decisions, and pancakes with berries that tasted like they were made by someone who genuinely cares about your happiness. The coffee? Strong enough to fix your life. The service? Warm, attentive, and somehow psychic--they just knew when we needed refills or another mimosa (which, for the record, felt less like a drink and more like a lifestyle choice). Honestly, this place doesn't just serve breakfast--it gives you a reason to get out of bed. 10/10 would wake up early again... and I do not say that lightly.

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.

First off, that honey butta hot chicken sandwich is so delicious. The spice and sweet and the butta is so rich and leaves a long lasting impression. That is the bite you'll be thinking about and returning for. But don't sleep on the donuts either! Normally I'm not huge on donuts but that lil peanut butta cup donut with the whipped peanut mouse and chocolate ganache...yeah ima need that. It's perfectly balanced with the bitter chocolate ganache, and the light mouse. Obviously, after you're eating all this, you're gonna need something to wash it down. They have an excellent selection of coffee and teas, I enjoyed their chai latte, which wasn't too sweet for my pallet. After I thought I couldn't eat anymore, the chicory ice cream spoke to me so I had to answer. Stopping here made for a perfect day of indulgence than walking up and down magazine Street and shopping. The staff here is so nice too! They let us come hang out back here after we were done shopping and needed to rest for a bit. Which was nice because this place has a decent amount of seating and a little patio in the back and some seats out front. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody.
