The job took 4-days, really 3.5-days with the first 0.5 being a crew who peeled off the old shakes the first day and some supply delivery. 2nd was delivering more supplies, checking for dry rot, replacing as needed, and starting the plywood, and waterproofing. 3rd was shingling and gutters (separate crews), 4th finishing everything up including painting the vents to match with the new roof. A young man came out with a drone and flew it over my house. I was initially impressed at the process, and the identified issues with my roof. This brought me to Alpha Roofing. I scheduled an estimate, where I met Mario. The disrespect I felt with him flaunting his dodger hat to a deeply rooted Yankee home!!! yes, I proudly wore my Yankee hat as he and I bantered back-and-forth. We instantly hit it off. Mario is a personable and friendly guy, I felt comfortable with him. He came into my home to see the source of the leak and asked for access to my attic. He grabbed a ladder and climbed onto my roof first. I questioned him not having a drone and he told me he did, but for initial estimates, he needed to walk my roof to see what was going on. Once on my roof, he quickly identified everything the other roofing company mentioned and so much more. He found the source of my leak. The drone was great, but would never have caught the tiny holes left in my roof from removing solar pool panels. That gave me an Oh *hit moment!
