My new favorite beauty store in LA! Great selection of hair and surprisingly fantastic customer service! I say that because most beauty supply stores especially ones specializing in selling hair, are extremely rude and have no business being in customer service. I went to fox beauty a few days ago and bought 2 packs of 18" Indian hair in a 613 (super hard to find), at 89$ a piece. Awesome price for the quality of hair. I also purchased a product I saw on the counter, that the associate recommend, called shed stop. Its a liquid you apply at the weft to keep hair from shedding. When I got home I realized that the shed stop liquid was BLACK and obviously the hair I bought was super light blonde. I called them to see if they could let me return or exchange the shed stop, not expecting much as most beauty supply stores are very strict about all sales being final. They told me to come in to the store and they would be happy to exchange it for me!! I've never experienced such accommodating and friendly customer service at a store like this! I bought four hair bundles for braiding and couldn't believe it when the nice lady (sorry I didn't get her name) told me I could bring back what was unused (unopened). Absolutely love this place!!! I was looking for a wig & honestly not too sure exactly what I was looking for since I was a "newbie" to wearing them. The girls there are VERY helpful, nice & best of all made me feel comfortable to actually buy one!!! I started to have to buy wigs because after years of wearing extensions my hair was falling out & needed a break! There prices vary from extremely affordable to a little higher end, but they always have something I can afford. Best of all they have a free point program/ awards card. So for every dollar you spend you get points that will turn into $$$ off! This is my go to spot in the SFV! As a licensed cosmetologist I call around to get the best prices on supplies, called here and spoke to Rosa whom I warned I was going to be asking quite a few questions, she was answering my questions but than seemed to have gotten bothered and thought I didn't hear her rudely saying "Oh my God to her co-worker" while she thought she covered the phone. Poor customer service and very unprofessional! she should've handled the call properly and treat customers with respect . Awesome Sauce!!!! The ladies are very knowledgeable! My first encounter with them was by telephone. I live is San Diego and needed hair for my daughters braids. San Diego didn't have what I needed and I was in a time crunch. We were in LA on business so I called them. I didn't know what I was actually looking for but the ladies knew by my description!!!! So I went there on our way back to San Diego. It was very easy to find being from out of town!!! OMGosh... This place was not what I expected. The outside was nothing spectacular...when I opened the door......It was bright, clean, open, and very easy to navigate. The isles are wide. You can move and so can the other shoppers without bumping into one another!!! They had more than I expected. Well in the back of my mind, I expected a lot because we were in LA! They had hair. Bunches and different types and colors!!! I asked for help and the lady took me right to where I needed to be. I asked another question and BAM! I got the answer. I grabbed all the hair I needed and then went to get in line. While in line, I overheard the ladies compliment a customer on their hair. That was cool. They know their regulars! It's my turn, I remembered I needed something else and they told me where it was. They didn't seemed bothered by all the questions either!!! Great customer service! On a side note!! It was cool going into a place and the associates were speaking Spanish and not an Asian language! I will come back if I need hair and in LA. This place is AMAZING! Best prices and best customer service :) I recently purchased Bohyme extensions and it was horrible. The hair tangled up and became a birds nest after 3 weeks. It's usually great but i guess i got a bad batch. I purchased the hair a month before I had it put in. I called the store and spoke with Nelly, who was super awesome! I had the hair for two months and had lost my receipt so I printed out my credit card statement. She was more than happy to help and said I can bring it in and either get a refund on my purchase or an exchange. I wanted an exchange but the color I wanted wasn't in stock. So they gave me the next closest color. I didn't mind because the color wasn't too far off and I really liked it. It was actually $20 more than the hair I originally paid for but Nelly and the owner said it was ok and gave me an even exchange! WOW! What great customer service! I am so pleased and happy with the way things went I will be a forever loyal customer :) Thank you again Nelly and Kevin(? I think that's his name). I was standing at the cash register for over 2 minutes waiting for someone to help me but the employees just kept babbling to each other, then when I finally got helped I asked a lady to help me find the pair of extensions that would match my color because she told me I wasn't allowed to open the hair and see the color myself so when she gave me the pair that matched I purchased it and went home to realize it was about 2 shades to dark. Funny story how I found fox beauty I was at Sally's beauty salon getting clip in extensions a lady came up to me told me about this place and I drove there. Ever since that day I have not bought my clip in anywhere else. They are 100% human hair the clips are VERY well put on to the hair it won't fall out, very sturdy they are machine wetfted.
