This car wash changed owners and is now the Hazel Dell car wash. They do a great job scrubbing your car down prior to going into the wash itself and wipe it down when you come out the other side. I wish they would not clearly be expecting tips after wiping down your car but that is the only downside to this wash. I have not used the interior services so I cannot speak to that part of the wash experience. read more

I so badly wanted to give this a good review because the last time I was there they did such a great job. Not so much at all this time. All the windows were streaked because they weren't cleaned properly, had to finish cleaning them at home. The odor that was left in my car from their 'Cleaning' products smelled like a urinal cake, it left my clothes smelling the same way. Nope. Not again. They were really nice and gave me a good deal on a vacuum.With an exterior wash period they were quick and efficient.And they have a great little area in the waiting room where you can sit at a desk and charge your cellphone or type something and acute little gift shop as well... So against my better judgement I am trying this place again as long as the brush doesn't hit the paint the wash quality isn't terrible. But my recent experience is this 3 days ago I renewed my month long membership and the store sign says opens at 9am Yelp says opens at 9am yes I'm sitting here at 9:32 am and you're still closed this has happened 2nd day in row now I use my vehicle commercially for a livery service and am on a tight schedule and so when I see a business tell me that they open at such time I expect a business owner to be on time and make sure his employees are on time it speaks to your character as a business owner and the quality of your business and being late isn't making your customers happy. Get you shit together and start being on time. Or change your hours to 10am because if your on time your already late and not your lateness looks more rude and unprofessional. I went for the full-service wash because my car was a MESS. I'm happy I did! For $70, the interior was cleaned beautifully - the dog hair was gone, and I feel at peace again! I do wish that the top of my car/the sunroof got more attention, but it won't stop me from going back. read more

Today I was the second car, asked for a vacuum & wash & was told it would be a 45 minute wait,"aka carte" $25 for interior clean & $18 for the wash!!! I wasn't there for detail work. OMG! I was extremely impressed with the quality of the cleaning! It was very much up to par with $300 detailing I've received in the past from other companies, and it was only the basic $60 cleaning. I saw the reviews before I went. But it's the only full service car wash I know of on the west side. It's changed hands and after detailing you do have to drive it thru yourself in automated car wash. It's $70 or such plus tax for the full clean. My husband's car was really dirty from mountain road driving. They did a great job!!! Look always remove valuables. I do. But nothing was missing from my car. And they took extra time cleaning it and apologized for taking longer. read more

This place is under new ownership and they did an amazing job! They worked super hard, cleaned with detail and care, and my car feels so much better after all of our summer adventuring. An unexpected jewel of a car wash in hazel dell! Great price but exceptional service. I've never had so many people tend to my car during a wash! I stopped in today and I should have taken notice of the extreme lack of business. I moved out of state over to the Oregon side a few years ago. When I lived here, the old HD car wash was always packed with business and waiting was fine because I enjoyed visiting with the owners. I noticed there were cones up at the full service bays so I walked into the office to see if they were actually doing full service, no one was in the office. It looked like there were only two people working. Sensinga long wait even though two cars were being washed, I left. When the new owners decide to sell, I'll buy the place and turn it back into what it was. read more

this is terrible I'm new around here so was looking for a near by car wash pull up I was trying to call the employee she didn't even respond or look , one of the girl ran up , so i told her this is my first time here how do it works she told me the price, okay that's fine but they don't vacuum if you want then to vacuum you have to pay $24.99 plus tax... like wtf I just paid $20 for supposedly full service?? no wipes to wipe down the inside at least.. no customer service what so ever. please do not take your car here then I pull up to self service vacuum, you have to pay $1 for 4 minutes and it do even really works smfh. what a waste of money if I can put no start I would read more

I have been taking my car to get washed here for over 4 years and have never had a bad wash. Recently, I noticed that one side of my car wasn't cleaned well. So I called the place and spoke with the owner. He was apologetic and said they are waiting on a part that would fix that problem, and that I could take my car back to get that one side clean. Luckily, I was still in the area. I went back. I explained what happened. And the attendant was very accommodating. It's nice to be able to speak with the owner and know that he wants to make sure his customers are taken care of. read more

The car wash is ok definitely not as good as it used to be when Jim owned the place! But who has time to wait for an hour or more for a 5 minute exterior car wash? I have purchased their monthly wash package which should be a gray deal but not if you can't get in. I have driven by 4 times in the last week hoping to just get the exterior washed. But each time the wait line is out to the gas pumps or farther. That means you will sit in line for 45 to 60+ minutes. And for an ok wash at best. Canceling my subscription!!! WARNING!!! Despite reading multiple bad reviews, I took my car here, against my better judgment. My car was in deep need of a full detail inside and out. I pulled up and asked the guy if he did full detail inside and out and he said yes. I even asked him if that included the wheels. My first clue should've been that he told me when I came back for my car, I would have to drive it through the wash myself. Fine. When I picked it up, I did just that. I only live about a block away and when I got home, I noticed the wheels had not been touched. I zipped back over there and asked them why they didn't do the wheels. They told me they don't do wheels. They gave me some excuse that they can't clean my wheels because then their rags "would get dirty". I am so disgusted that I want my money back. I regret giving the tip to the first guy who handed me my key. They basically took my phone number and said they would have an owner call me back. A full refund is pretty much in order here considering I was duped with all the lies. Lesson learned. Even when you ask all the right questions, they Will still lie to you. read more

Another bad review, go figure. I paid for the super duper wash and vacuum where they (supposedly) clean the inside of the car, do the windows, dash etc and then run through the wash and final post-clean, was about $75. They did it in an hour, which was good, but the clean job, was bad. They skipped whole sections of the inside. After the wash they have two guys doing each side of the car as it comes out. One side was great, one side was dirty, and the back wasn't touched. I been to places for $25 that do a much better job though that was 5 years ago...guess I pine for the old days. My takeaway...I would have been better off just buying the cheap wash somewhere else that has vacuum stations one may use. I'll keep searching for a better place and won't be coming back. read more

This carwash is falling apart, the lines are insanely long, the detail service takes over an hour even without a line, no one is ever at the front desk. The owner is quite nice and well intentioned, but it's really a shame to see what's happening here. We were members with the monthly carwash program, but could never use it due to the inefficient nature of extended wait times. The interior waiting area is also gross, you can no longer view cars through the glass, which has always historically been a fun element. No real stock of retail items. High turnover of employees. Too bad... Vancouver really would benefit from a well running operation. I'm certain they are loosing customers every day. Interior clean (on a pretty clean car to start), 1.5 hours with 1-3 employees working on it over the course of the clean. Now waiting to drive thru. I expect another 30 - 40 minutes until it's finished. read more

I've been using this wash for several years partly because an under chassis spray was included and the towel off at the end got what the brushes missed. Now that Fox owns it, the prices have increased but the quality is plummeting. On 1-25, I got the worst job yet: wheels completely untouched, rear end barely half touched and no wax sprayed on the left half of the car. The line was supposedly upgraded last year, but the end result is now worse than before. I guess it's time to find a better vendor. read more

I have been here since 1:45pm Owner advised 1.5 hours. It's now 4pm, and they aren't even done vacuuming! I express my irritation to said Owner, and am told "This isn't the Hazel Dell carwash. We're not going to breeze through and deliver an inferior product. I bought this place so I could deliver a PERFECT product. Our service is SO good, all my customers come back." This is the slowest car wash facility I have ever experienced. If there are more than 10 cars in front of you you are going to wait in line for 30 or 45 minutes. The unlimited monthly car wash option is a decent value, but you better plan your visits to the car wash strategically or you are going to waste a good part of your afternoon. For as long as they take, it seems like your car would come out exceptionally clean, but they still miss spots like most every other drive-through car wash. I have had their unlimited monthly car wash membership for about a year or more and I will be canceling it. read more

I hadn't been back to Fox Auto Wash since Covid. I was sorely disappointed and not surprised to learn the business has new owners. The kids were running the show. Great attitudes but they were greatly understaffed with no adult supervision or support. As a result there was noone to talk to people waiting in the full service line where i waited. For 30 minute before being greeted and informed abbout service. W hen it was finally finished after closing time there were still blobs of something white on the top and large amounts of visible pollen on the body. The interior bordered on acceptable. The finished job was not worth $60+. I gave the young woman a $5. She looked exhausted. She would do much better in the tip department with a better, more involved owner. Now i have to go out and find another car wash. Drat. Double Drat. read more

I came here when Jim owned it, once a week and once a month a inside cleaning as well. This is the absolute WORST degradation of o business I e ever seen. If there's more than 3 cars in front of you, you'll be there for at least an hour! I've NEVER seen people move so SLOWLY!! I had a full service cleaning, first one in line at 9am. ONE gentleman walked out at 9:15, FINALLY, took an HOUR TO VACUUM a clean car. Nothing was wiped down inside! NOTHING! When I got into the car I realized everything from the gentleman's pockets were in my car. Wallet, phone, earbuds, everything. I noticed NO ADULT supervising the kids. No DIRECTION. No organization! The customer service was great and he got me in and out rather quickly, about 25 min earlier than what he'd originally said it would be finished. It was a rainy day so I didn't really walk around my car to inspect it before driving off. After paying $65 almost the entire rear of my car had been missed. All of my wheels were completely dirty like a brush was never even used. Now to the inside, they missed the front of my car by the gearbox - it still was filthy and not vacuumed . My cup holders were not clean. If my 88yo mother wasn't with me, I would have gone right back in, but she knew I was upset about the $65 I just spent for a pretty poor job. I called their office but it went to voicemail. I didn't want to leave a message over the phone, I just won't ever be going back. read more
