I dont know why...but I started reading the reviews for this Fox Feed...and the review that Carole J posted is crap!! I live around the corner from this place and they are plenty busy, respectful & professional every time I go in there...when she wrote that there are 2 female cashiers there and she doesn't know what they do all day long because it's slow...evidently she has never worked at a country store/ feed store in her life...these women are working...they are taking care of business...HEY CAROLE just because it's slow when you go in there doesn't mean it is like that all the time...Ive seen the place plenty busy....I always and I do mean ALWAYS hear them on the phone taking orders...they service a wide area...Carole evidently doesn't realize that as well....and Carole since you were pretty vague on your reasoning to try to paint a picture of laziness and incompetence...I think you're just a bully who wants to make this place and these women look bad...Carole...I think I shall rename you Karen...and oh...one last thing...Merry Christmas Carole...bless yer heart! read more

Whenever I stop by there are always 2 female clerks and hard,y any customers so I'm not sure what they do all day. Sad that the professionalism has declined since Darleen moved. You can't get an employee to take a delivery order by phone these days...too busy and they say they'll call you back but don't. I guess they don't need my business or yours. read more

Love this fox feed! Way bigger and more selection than Canyon Country. I Even drive up here from canyon country, that's how much of a difference it is. I have 6 chicks from fabulous and Frizzled, I ALWAYS start my chicks with medicated feed and I haven't lost one yet. (I do with all chicks, not just from this location) Had to update 9/10 Got a second batch of chicks from fox feed. Also got fox feeds house medicated chick feed. This 2nd batch of chicks has infected everyone with coccidiosis. I'm losing chicks daily and the it's just the worst thing I've experienced. Luckily they've been quarantined from my laying girls since we brought them home but I'm praying they don't catch this. read more

This is my new favorite place! The staff is so helpful they have great tips and are so encouraging. We are new to the area and have been amazing at getting us everything we need to care for our new animals and care for our homestead. Amy is especially helpful as I purchased some baby chicks a couple weeks ago that are thriving! They load everything into your car for you. I'm so glad we moved to Acton and so happy I found this supplier. I don't even price out items anymore because everything is quality here and I am happy to support people who are kind and provide great customer service. Fabulous and frizzle sells infected baby chicks there. I have bought 5 diffent sets of birds 2 weeks apart placed them in separated brooders. All chicks dead by 1 weeks the rest failure to thrive with noted bloody poop by 4 weeks. All I bought 5 to 12 birds eveytime not one survived. I called around after connecting with ppl on chicken community who state same things. They have to medicate birds when they get them home asap! That most dead and infected their flocks. Treated them and it comes back om 3 days and kills them off. So sad. It's not fax feed fault at all this is outside person who sells them the birds! I have asked and this situation is getting worse. I will be calling animal control to investigate further this breeder and the store. I'm sooo sorry fox feed but it's my ethical duty to help others bc I'm losing my flock now!!!!! I did notice fox feed 2 last times did not clean out brooder from previous week drop off same bedding dirty poop when she dropped them off. read more

Definitely not a huge fan of Fox Feed in Acton. The guys I've spoken to outside are always very friendly and helpful, but then clerks inside tend to be rude and unhelpful. But, our family adore the staff at Canyon Country Fox Feed. Acton staff could learn a thing or two about costumer service from them. read more

Fox Feed is a great place to shop!! When my husband and I moved to Acton we had the choice of two feed stores in town. We went to Fox Feed and were greeted by Janice and Sherrie when we went in. It was sort of funny because we were in the process of moving from the urban jungle and knew very little about chickens and ranch life....... sort of like Green Acres :-) Once we purchased our ranch we needed to purchase bedding for our animals and didn't even know the difference between hay, alfalfa or any of the other bales they have. We were never made to feel foolish even though we were naïve to rural life and ranching. We have learned a lot from Janice, Sherrie and Gentry over these past several months and you will too. They never fail to answer all of our questions and are just wonderful people. Sherrie, Janice and the manager, Gentry make us feel like family. After our first visit to Fox Feed we decided that this was the feed store for us. We have never been to the other feed store because Fox Feed has everything we need for our chickens and other animals. They have all the food, drinkers, feeders, bedding, grasses, vitamins, etc. The guys out in the yard that load the order into our truck are all great, friendly people too. Great local feed store. They keep their hay protected from the elements, and the quality is good. They also have a great selection of feed and supplements. If they don't have it, they'll order it. Plus the staff is very friendly. My toddler loves to go to the feed store and visit with "the girls." In addition to the usual equine magazines, they also have a selection of horse, farm, or Western themed children's books. Whenever Sherrie places an order for books, she tries to pick some out that my son would like. What wonderful customer service! They also have a wide variety of products in their store. They have a display case for local jewelry artists, Western-themed gifts and clothing, and even shoes. This feed store feels like a boutique. read more

This family-operated feed store is the best in town. They are always helpful, and carry a big selection of everything you need for pets and livestock. Their hay is kept protected from the weather in a huge hay barn. All sacks of feed are also kept protected in storage buildings. They carry all kinds of horse related items, from halters to saddles, and even cute boutique country clothing. A great experience to go there all around. read more

So I'm new to the area need some dry stall . Called Fox Feed spoke to Jeremy who was really nice gave me info and price 13.49. Now there are three fox feed all owned by the same family. I went to the one in acton they charged me 17.99 for the exact same product. When asked about if they would honor the Canyon Country store price they said no. Bad bad experiences don't make for return customers. Oh my tiny amount won't matterThey are over priced . Two girls both on the phone one with her kids school I don't know about the other one, the girl was on the phone with her kids school in fact both girls were on the phone neither greeted me when I went in either. One bag of treats at Walmart are five bucks at fox feed they were 11.95 same brand same weight same everything would not recommend they're rude and lazy won't be going back at least to the Actin FOX FEED read more
