Steven not only worked with him patiently and consistently, but also gave us the tools and confidence to continue his training at home. Our dog came back calmer, more responsive, and much more enjoyable to be around, yet still his happy, loving self. What really impressed us was how knowledgeable and dedicated Steven is! He clearly understands the Cane Corso breed and how to bring out the best in them. Rocco was very reactive to cars, other dogs, cats, anything that moves fast he had to bark and chase. Not to mention obsession with tail chasing and extreme separation anxiety. The 4 week boarding training program was a perfect opportunity for Rocco to learn from Evelyne and for us as owners to better equip ourselves with training tactics. Evelyne was extremely open to our concerns during our initial consultation and created a plan specifically to his needs. Of course we were nervous to leave him for the first week - HOWEVER, Evelyne communicated with us regularly putting us at ease. So obviously leaving him with someone is not a small thing. I am thankful beyond words that I found Joe. Over the years he's built a real bond with my dog. It is clear from all of our interactions, that Joe is deeply committed to the welfare of my dog and all other dogs in his care. In the beginning my dog was fearful to be left at a strange place. This of course is to be expected. Now, when I drop him off, he runs in to Joe's house and doesn't even spare a look back. Knowing my dog feels safe and comfortable is truly a blessing. I drive over an hour from LA to drop my dog off and to pick him up. But it's well worth the peace of mind.
